Planned Parenthood is speaking out against the Marilyn Monroe film Blonde for showing two graphic forced abortion scenes and a CGI baby asking, “you won’t hurt me this time, will you?” Planned Parenthood has called the film “anti-abortion propaganda.” In one scene, Ana de Armas, who plays Monroe, is seen talking to her baby. (snip) In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood said that the “medically inaccurate descriptions of fetuses” contributes to “abortion stigma.”

1. I’d have never watched this show. Sounds interesting. Thanks PP! 2. PP doesn’t want women to know that most women polled, later in life, are plagued by guilt and remorse (as they probably should be) for killing their child. Knowledge cuts down on the bottom line. 3. The elites that run the Democrat party (and PP) don’t want you to see how they use and abuse people just for a taste of their power and privileges.

Pro baby killers also don’t tell young women that abortion increases the chance of breast cancer later in life. The height of irony is the susan g komen foundation giving money to planned parenthood.

The stigma is ensured by the very act of this barbaric act. Abortion brings about the death of a baby in a torturously violent way. There is no white washing the reality of the pain these innocent babies experience. If these pro-abortion zealots want so desperately to murder children in the womb and even shortly thereafter, don’t expect the majority of Americans to want to gloss over the suffering of these babies. Be proud of the evil you do to innocent babies, but you will not get a pass from me. Own your own evil.

The group arrived via a chartered flight dispatched by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. According to state representative Dylan Fernandes, “when you look at the limited housing options on Martha’s Vineyard, as I’m sure many of the folks here are aware, it’s likely we’re going to need an off island location.”

Two stories in the news strike a common chord: the need to stop infantilizing minority, especially black, populations. The first comes from the world of sports and involves the familiar racial hate incident hoax. Briefly, the Duke women’s volleyball team played a match at Brigham Young University, and lost. After the match, the godmother of one of the Duke players, who is black, tweeted that someone in the BYU crowd had yelled the “N-word” at her goddaughter when she was serving. It turned out that she (the godmother) is a virulent anti-white racist (“These white folks ain’t never had they ass kicked, but they better get used to it”).

Michigan Court of Claims Judge Elizabeth Gleicher ruled the state’s 1931 law that bans abortion, triggered by the U.S. Supreme Court overturning the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, is unconstitutional. Gleicher said the law violates the Michigan Constitution’s Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses. “Despite that men play [a] necessary role in the procreative process, the law deprives only women of their ability to thrive as contributing participants in [the] world outside the home and as parents of wanted children," Gleicher wrote.

After nearly four years and millions of wasted taxpayer funds, U.S District Judge Steve C. Jones ruled on Friday that Georgia’s election practices had violated neither the Constitution nor the Voting Rights Act (VRA) during the 2018 gubernatorial election. Shortly after losing that election to Republican Brian Kemp, Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams famously blamed her loss on voter suppression and filed a federal lawsuit against Georgia’s Secretary of State and Election Board via her advocacy group, Fair Fight Action, Inc. Judge Jones finally put the Peach State out of its misery by ruling in favor of Georgia on all counts.

Jonathan Capehart, a Washington Post columnist and MSNBC host, is arguing that Democrats need to retake the high ground on patriotism. It really bugs him that people associate patriotism with Republicans, while it is the Democrats who are the real patriots. Yeah right. I have no idea why anybody would think that Democrat leaders and commentators aren’t patriotic. Maybe because of statements like this: Capehart’s argument is not uncommon, of course. Democrats have been frustrated by the fact that Republicans have been more successful with patriotic messaging than they since at least the 60’s. Kennedy clearly was very patriotic with his messaging, but ever since Democrats have been associated

I don’t know how many times I have written some iteration of the theme that Joe Biden is a miserable lying dog-faced pony soldier, but he is, and he’s at it again. On Monday Joe Biden tweeted more lies to compound his previous lies about abortion and morality. Monday’s fib is slightly nuanced about abortion. His characterization of Republicans being in league with the Devil, is not. Biden has characterized Republicans in general, and Trump supporters in particular. as threats to democracy and vote suppressors. And now today, he claims that Republicans are just plain evil (because they don’t want babies murdered).

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) wanted regulatory reform, in part to reverse some of the Biden Administration reversals of Trump era reforms intended to expedite permits for fossil fuel projects. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) needed Manchin’s vote in the 50-50 Senate to enact his latest spending extravaganza, the Inflation Reduction Act, which was primarily a massive climate and “green” energy subsidy arrangement. It gives Schumer allies some $370 billion in wind, solar, battery and other funding, tax credits and subsidies. In exchange, Schumer would offer a path for Manchin’s reform bill.
