Democrats blaming climate change for Hurricane
Ian at odds with science, experts say

Multiple experts contacted by Fox News Digital argued that there isn't sufficient evidence to suggest climate change caused Hurricane Ian or any individual natural disaster. The experts' comments come as a series of media outlets, Democrats and progressive commentators continue to blame the hurricane on human-caused global warming. Hurricane Ian slammed into southwest Florida as a Category 4 storm on Wednesday, causing more than a million residents to lose power and prompting stark safety warnings from Florida officials. "What they're trying to do is politicize the pain and suffering of these people to promote their green agenda," Gregory Wrightston

Does the fact that the military's first transgender officer was just indicted for spying give them any pause? People who claim to be transgender are mentally disturbed, and not to be trusted in a military setting!

OP, “follow the science” died when the left decided that human chromosomes were “fluid”. As far as hurricanes go, the left is clueless. Don Lemon stated that he grew up in Florida and the storms are now worse than when he was a child. Well, I grew up in Florida too and I well remember Andrew, Ivan and Camille which were all huge deadly storms and occurred before he was born. Rush used to say that, for leftists, history began the day they were born. As usual, he was right and Lemon proves it.

The reality is that the number and strength of hurricanes striking the US mainland over the last century and a half has not changed at all. They are irregular in their timing and strength, and where they strike. Very, very small changes in a trace gas in the atmosphere, which is present at a level well below 1/2 of one tenth of one percent, have exactly zero effect on the frequency and strength of hurricanes. It is ridiculous to claim it. Human contribution to these tiny changes represent less than 4% of the input, the rest of the change in atmospheric CO2 in a year is due to volcanoes and other natural sources. These small increases in the extremely small amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere are absolutely irrelevant as to the global climate. Hard fact, human activity has no effect on global climate, regardless of the number of times Climate Charlatans lie about it.

I had just started in the insurance business in 1969 when Camille hit Mississippi. A cat 5 with winds of 150 knots. That’s knots, not miles per hour. The sustained winds couldn’t be measured since all the recording equipment was destroyed. The storm surge at Pass Christian was almost 25 feet. The lying Lemon could also look up the 1935 Florida Keys hurricane which was even stronger. Andrew was also a cat 5 with 150 knot winds. Climate change is no less than a religious cult to these people and they will lie and ignore facts to sustain the cult.

The geologic record contains massive amounts of evidence on climate change, tens of millions of years before human existence. For example the Capital Coral reef, one of the most well preserved marine fossil reefs in the world, is perched around 7,500 feet above sea level. So what was once a shallow ocean is now a mountain, part of the Guadalupe Mountain Range of South Eastern New Mexico and West Texas. The man made climate change conspiracy shares the criminal "science" rationale of the mask mandate felons, which is "it is because we say it is, evidence be damned!"

One thing is for sure, the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats, no matter what they claim, are not going to change nature (climate change) or stop hurricanes that are natural occurrences from coming across the Atlantic Ocean from West Africa and striking from the USA East Coast, and West to the Mexican borderline. Hurricanes that from time to time have been causing death and massive damage since long before history has recorded.

The consumer price index, which measures what consumers spend on goods and services, rose 8.3% in August from a year ago. More than one-third of Americans said it was somewhat or very difficult to pay for household expenses, according to a recent U.S. Census Bureau survey. If history is any guide, Democrats do not have a chance — not even a small a chance — of keeping control of the House in the midterm elections. But the question is: Is history any guide? There's been a lot of attention paid to the new ABC News-Washington Post poll, which makes clear that President Joe Biden is a drag on his party as November approaches. Biden's job approval rating in the poll was 39%, even lower than some other surveys at the moment, and just 35% of Democrats said they want Biden to be the party's presidential nominee in 2024. But the big picture is even worse for Democrats.

Soon after COVID-19 hit the U.S., Democrats made a subtle change to House rules that shut off an important oversight tool for Republicans in the minority by restricting their ability to demand information from the Biden administration through "resolutions of inquiry." Before the pandemic, committees were instructed to take up these resolutions, which often seek all available information from the administration on topical issues of the day, within a few weeks of their introduction. Once COVID arrived, Democrats led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., allowed committees to ignore resolutions of inquiry, which stripped Republicans of their power to force committee votes on uncomfortable issues that Democrats preferred to avoid.

That number will no doubt rise, but it is far short of the deadliest, and might be one of the least deadly hurricanes to hit that hurricane-prone state. The deadliest record was set in
