Denver is set to provide 140 homeless people with $12,000 in cash with no strings attached to help get them out of destitution, and a last ditch effort to combat soaring crime rates in the Mile-High City.
The city has allocated $2million from the American Rescue Plan Act to fund the program, which will be run by the Denver Basic Income Project.
The total program, which will cost around $9million, is seeking to help around 820 people, but the $2million provided by the city will fund around 140 people.
The rest of the money will be raised through charitable foundations, including the Colorado Health Foundation and the Denver Foundation,

When Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died in September 2020 and President Trump began moving to replace her, the Left was at their typical level of rage. I was walking along Main Street in my hometown of Grapevine, Texas one morning shortly after the justice’s passing and was struck by a perspective of her career that I decided to tweet:
Just a reminder that Ruth Bader Ginsburg could have casually retired at 80 yrs old under Obama and been replaced by an ultra progressive in their 40s . . . but they chose not to.

The percentage of Americans who are refusing to get a vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus is remaining consistent, as nearly three in ten have yet to receive a single jab for the virus, a poll from The Economist/YouGov found. The survey found that 28 percent have not received any coronavirus jab from any manufacturer, compared to 72 percent who said they have. What is more, 58 percent indicated that they are at least triple vaccinated. However, it appears that those who are unvaccinated will remain so, as 66 percent said they do to plan on getting any shots, followed by 16 percent who said they “might” and nine percent

Next time, Joe Biden should be more precise when he calls for national unity. Because he and his fellow Democrats don’t like the kind of unity they’re getting from Republican governors.
The decision by GOP leaders in Texas, Florida and Arizona to “share” their abundance of foreign migrants with northern cities and states that boast of their sanctuary status is apparently not a gift the Dems appreciate. In fact, the president and his party are so mad they’re setting fire to the welcome wagons.
Shipping the migrants north is outrageous, a stunt, pure politics, they wail.

My Son Hunter, the new movie from Breitbart News, is a fact-based dramatization of the life of debauchery and corruption lived by the first son Hunter Biden. Although the movie takes certain artistic liberties, many scenes portray true accounts of the Biden scion’s life; this “True Fact” series will detail those accuracies.
True Fact: Hunter Biden sat on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, while his then-Vice President father was in charge of U.S. policy toward Ukraine.
Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma in 2014 — while his father was described as the “public face of the administration’s handling of Ukraine.”

Since about mid-2015, no man has been more hated by the mainstream media and their Democrat allies than Donald Trump. The hysteria surrounding the now-former president has essentially not ceased since he came down the escalator at Trump Tower to announce his run for the White House.
Things have been so insane that the moniker “orange man bad” was coined. Everything Trump does is scrutinized in the tenth degree. Anonymous sources constantly form the basis of press stories that often turn out to be false. To this day, Trump is still accused of being a white supremacist foreign agent for the Russians.

The twentieth century is now well and truly over. The death of the Queen who presided over the second half of it may come to represent a critical point in history: the moment when what will be understood historically as a golden age of confidence and prosperity came to an end. After the terrible ideological wars of its first four decades, that century somehow reinvented itself as a time of quite extraordinary progress. It was as if the world – having been engulfed twice by horror and unprecedented mass murder – had made a vow to atone.

The decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans (pdf), handed down on Sept. 16, upholds the constitutionality of a Texas law signed by Gov. Greg Abbott last year and delivers a victory to Republicans in their fight against big tech censorship of conservative viewpoints.

Remember when leftists, in their full-on meltdown over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis transporting illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, shrieked about the notion that these individuals were not told where they were going?
Yeah, looks like that particular narrative wasn’t exactly in line with reality.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reported that the illegals who were transported to the white progressive haven at Martha’s Vineyard knew exactly where they were going. In fact, they obtained the documents these individuals were given before making the trek to the island.

The Martha’s Vineyard debacle has been quite revelatory in that it has further exposed how white progressives truly feel about illegal immigrants and others trying to gain entry into the United States. Over the past few days, the nation got more than just a small glimpse into how these folks operate.
The bottom line is that residents of Martha’s Vineyard, despite being overwhelmingly “progressive,” are vocal supporters of illegal immigrants – as long as they don’t have to deal with them up close. The Martha’s Vineyard’s meltdown illustrates the efficacy of a few of Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals. Governors Abbott and DeSantis have put several of Alinsky’s rules in play Among them:
• Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
• Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
• A good tactic is one your people enjoy.
• Keep the pressure on.
• The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
• Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
These rules were formulated for the use of the left. When employed to mount opposition to the left, the axis of American life and politics tilts. The end of the world is nigh.

Party-loving Mayor Eric Adams—who said this week that the city’s shelters are near a “breaking point” as they deal with incoming migrants—was spotted Thursday night at the highly exclusive, members-only jazz club at the newly opened Aman NY. We’re assuming he found few, if any, migrants there. “He was sitting in the center of the room with a group of people,” says a spy, who notes that founding members splashed out $100,000 to join the club. We’re told one of these people was his controversial pal, convicted money launderer Zhan “Johnny” Petrosyants. “Guess tonight there’s no migrant issue if he’s sitting at the fanciest new club,”

Whether President Joe Biden is doing enough to limit illegal immigration is a key issue raised by Republicans this midterm election cycle.
To draw attention to the topic, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis flew around 50 immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, on Sept. 14 — surprising local officials and making them scramble to accommodate the group.
DeSantis isn't the first Republican governor to send newly arriving migrants out of his state:
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has bused more than 7,000 immigrants to Democratic-led cities like New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago. On Sep. 15, Abbott sent two buses of immigrants to Vice President Kamala Harris' residence in the nation's capital; and

Former President Donald Trump was supposed to be the death knell for the Republican Party and the Hispanic vote, helping to usher in the “emerging Democratic majority” forecasters had projected for decades.
Instead, Trump made modest inroads with Hispanics himself and may have presided over the demographic shifting from a reliably Democratic voting bloc to more of a swing vote.
If those trends hold through this year’s midterm elections, it could have lasting implications for the competitiveness of future races. In 2020, Trump won the highest share of the Hispanic vote of any Republican presidential nominee since George W. Bush in 2004.

Texas's Gov. Greg Abbott got the ball rolling with his decision to bus illegal immigrants to America's foremost sanctuary cities. And Florida's Gov. DeSantis has taken it to 11, by flying more of the migrants to America's foremost elite sanctuary cities, such as Martha's Vineyard.
For Democrats, it's not a one-day story, but an ongoing can of whoopass.
It comes after months of Democrats controlling the narrative about the border surge -- from the press doing softball interviews with migrant-inviting Joe Biden, his do-nothing "border czar" Kamala Harris, and derelict Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas; to phony political "narratives"

Teachers' unions have long been controversial in the United States, especially now, as polarizing discussions about public education in America are front and center.
The most prominent teachers’ union in the United States is the National Education Association (NEA). By extension, the NEA has affiliates throughout the country...."The Communist governments consider it a great propaganda coup to have their phony 'unions' accepted around the world as 'true representatives of the workers,'" the AFT brochure read. "When the NEA establishes ties with these groups and agrees to have official exchanges with them, it plays right into the propaganda maneuvers of these totalitarian governments.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. This year likely will be the first that electric-vehicle battery costs will go up, rather than continuing the steady decline that they’ve been on for more than a decade. And EV buyers are seeing the result: several auto makers, from newcomers such as Rivian Automotive Inc. to established players such as Tesla Inc. have raised their EV prices. The move has affected all models, from mass-market electric sedans to coveted muscle cars with deep order books and even Ford Motor Co.’s EV version of the F-150 pickup truck, the vehicle that has reigned

Sea level rise is increasing at a dramatic rate. Scientists at the University of Miami warn that if we don't act soon, coastal cities and towns will slowly diminish.
Scientists say a few decades from now, downtown Miami will be underwater.
The tide is coming in and eventually it's not going to go back out," says Dr. Harold Wanless, a Geologist and Professor of Geography and Sustainable Development at University of Miami. So what does that mean for us? According to Dr. Wanelss's research, by the year 2060, nearly 60% of Miami-Dade county will be underwater.

I’ve always detested people who make facile comparisons of anything that goes on in the U.S. to the manifold horrors of Nazi Germany. The freedoms and privileges we’ve enjoyed in this extraordinary nation made even the worst problems we’ve experienced pale in comparison to the brutality and death perpetrated by the Third Reich. To my mind, drawing parallels between them is a cheap, insulting, and wholly illegitimate way of gaining quick attention.
However, the MAGA+FASCIST= JANUARY 6th phony equation now emanating from Joe Biden and his party -- even going to the obscene length of enlisting the recent solemn remembrance of the 9/11 nightmare --

A new administrative order issued by the Marine Corps has temporarily paused any punishments for Marines who request a religious exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The order, which was signed and posted Wednesday, directs commanders within the Marine Corps to halt all administrative actions against Marines, no matter the current stage of the separation process.

Is it “cruel” to send illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, as Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre says? Was it also cruel when the Biden administration sent illegals from the border to Red states?
What is the difference in the level of cruelty between liberals sending their illegals to red states and conservatives sending theirs to blue states and cities, or is it cruel only when conservatives do it? Liberals are on board for virtue-signaling diversity (and the crime) that comes of illegal immigration so long as it is NIMBY. Does cruelty accrue only when Democrats are hurt?

Food prices have increased every month of 2022, with each month since February breaking 40-year records, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The price of food at home increased 13.5% year-over-year in August, the highest it’s been since May 1979, according to the BLS Consumer Price Index (CPI) report. Since February, when the year-over-year cost of food at home increased by 8.6% — at the time the highest level since 1981 — grocery prices have increased every month, first breaking a 10% year-on-year increase in March, according to archived CPI reports by the BLS.

Thursday, Senator Ron Johnson took it to Big Tech for their practices of silencing and banning one side of the vaccine debate while letting the pro-vaccine crowd get away with mis and disinformation.
His presentation left them silent.
"During that time period when President Biden lied to the American public, 'This was a pandemic of the unvaxed. And if you got vaccinated, you're not going to go the hospital. You're not going to be in [an] ICU unit, and you're not going to die.' Well, 63.5 % of the people fully vaccinated were dying in England at the exact same time. Why didn't you pull this?

Sept. 17th is Constitution Day. There will be little fanfare and no parades or fireworks. It’s now fashionable to criticize this document as a relic of the past.
But these critics overlook its ongoing vitality.
While our founding charter draws from and builds upon ancient wisdom, it still offers a roadmap to our future—if we as a nation would rededicate ourselves to its precepts. William F. Buckley, Jr., once described conservatives as “those who stand athwart history yelling ‘stop!’” We might similarly define today’s constitutionalists as those who stand amidst political turmoil yelling “read!”

Guests at Disney World in Florida are complaining about the outrageous cost for average families to visit the resort while griping about broken-down, faulty rides, dirty facilities, and filth littering the walkways and attractions.
CEO Bob Chapek has overseen Disney’s expanding immoral wokeness while hiking prices into the stratosphere and allowing the resort to devolve into disrepair under his watch.
Social media is being flooded with complaints by visitors who are relentlessly bashing the Happiest Place on Earth while carping that Chapek is obsessed with cutting costs and raising prices instead of reinvesting in the resort, according to the New York Post.

Well, now. As radical federal judges across America continue to undo conservative programs and initiatives, including much of the work of the Trump administration, the state of Montana has defied a court order on transgender birth certificates. Could this be a model for other conservative states? Maybe so.
The left is fond of its “Resist” slogan. It’s past time for conservatives to resist, as well — in earnest.
Just hours after a Montana judge blocked health officials from enforcing a state rule that would prevent transgender people from changing the gender on their birth certificate, as reported by AP, the Republican-run state on Thursday said it would defy the order.

“The documents were declassified!”
“Trump had every right keep them!”
“They posed no risk to national security!”
Conservatives have been defending Trump with these kinds of arguments ever since the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago last month. They’re missing the point, though. Seeking to prove that Trump did nothing wrong in possessing these documents is like trying to establish that the victims of Stalin’s show trials weren’t in fact Trotskyites. Well, of course they weren’t.
But Stalin didn’t care if his enemies – perceived or real – were Trotskyites or “counter-revolutionaries.” What mattered to him was that they were his enemies.

It really shouldn’t come as any surprise in a world in which men not only become women, but become the first female admirals and champion female swimmers, but it is just another step down the road of discarding our humanity altogether and becoming artificial beings of our own design, with consequences no one can foresee. Short men are now getting their legs artificially lengthened so that they magically grow several inches taller and get all the girls who didn’t look at them until they had to look up to them. GQ ran a lavish 4,500-word piece on this nauseating phenomenon Thursday.

Your dreams have come true, kids: French fries and pizza are now good for you, so eat up, or else: if you don’t, you might be suspected of “white supremacism.” If you thought things couldn’t possibly get any crazier, forget it: a “nutritionist” has proclaimed that “nutrition standards are rooted in whiteness,” and so like Robert E. Lee and Bull Connor, they’ve got to go. Nor is the nutritionist in question, Kéra Nyemb-Diop, some nut raving on the streetcorner; she works for Mondelez International, which is so concerned about nutrition that it produces Oreos and Chips Ahoy!.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher quipped that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) sent the message to migrants “if you come here, you will get a free plane ride to a wealthy island.” And that the trip the migrants took sounds like the cruise he got his parents. Maher also jabbed President Joe Biden for accusing Republicans of using people as props by stating that when Biden said that, “all the Marines lined up behind him agreed.”
Maher said, “And then you saw the governors of Texas and Florida are sending their migrants to blue states. DeSantis in Florida sent all these Venezuelan migrants…to Martha’s Vineyard?

It’s no surprise that Ron DeSantis has become the Democrats’ bête noire. He is just so much better than they are on both policy and politics, and that makes him dangerous to their ability to continue destroying America.
So we have now reached the “Ron DeSantis is a Nazi” phase of demonization. It’s actually kind of glorious to see, because this tactic only works to gin up their communist base while simultaneous waking people up to a genuine crisis at the border. Few normal people believe DeSantis is really evil, which is why Florida has become a magnet for disaffected Americans who want to move
