Trump's surprise breakthrough with Hispanic
voters could spell doom for Democrats

Original Article

Former President Donald Trump was supposed to be the death knell for the Republican Party and the Hispanic vote, helping to usher in the “emerging Democratic majority” forecasters had projected for decades. Instead, Trump made modest inroads with Hispanics himself and may have presided over the demographic shifting from a reliably Democratic voting bloc to more of a swing vote. If those trends hold through this year’s midterm elections, it could have lasting implications for the competitiveness of future races. In 2020, Trump won the highest share of the Hispanic vote of any Republican presidential nominee since George W. Bush in 2004.

Comments:

'Doom' is a word like like with the word 'Democrat.' Let's have lots and lots of 'doom' for them.

Thursday’s Wall Street Journal ran a front page article on the the political shift. The impression shown (not stated) in the article is that pressure for the shift is coming from Hispanic females. Every voter quote about their political journey and activism is from a Latina.

I work around a lot of Hispanics ;particularly, from Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Trump is very popular among the males, not so much the females. Are the males attracted to Trumps machismo style?

Machismo is very important in Hispanic culture. They are generally conservative and religious and respect someone who tells them the truth. Someone like Joe Biden is held in contempt for disrespecting their culture and subjecting them to the generally held Democrat soft racism of low expectations.

First lady, and doctor-to-you Jill Biden, has somehow been dispatched again to chase down and win back the long-gone Latino vote for the Democrats. According to Fox News: First lady Jill Biden plans to host an event for Hispanic Heritage Month but has not made any comments on the celebration just three months after being mocked for comparing Latinos to "breakfast tacos." "Yes, the first lady will host a Hispanic Heritage Month reception at the White House and continue to engage the community as she travels the country," Elizabeth Alexander, communications director for the first lady, told Fox News Digital Friday.

Texas's Gov. Greg Abbott got the ball rolling with his decision to bus illegal immigrants to America's foremost sanctuary cities. And Florida's Gov. DeSantis has taken it to 11, by flying more of the migrants to America's foremost elite sanctuary cities, such as Martha's Vineyard. For Democrats, it's not a one-day story, but an ongoing can of whoopass. It comes after months of Democrats controlling the narrative about the border surge -- from the press doing softball interviews with migrant-inviting Joe Biden, his do-nothing "border czar" Kamala Harris, and derelict Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas; to phony political "narratives"

The tony vacation redoubt of Martha's Vineyard is freaking out over 50 illegal migrants, deposited at its door by Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis, who flew them in. Seems the ritzy sanctuary island in the sanctuary state of Massachusetts is being forced to 'celebrate diversity' and they're not happy about it. According to the New York Post: The posh liberal enclave of Martha’s Vineyard has been thrown into chaos by the arrival of two planeloads of migrants sent there by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, according to local reports. Roughly 50 migrants were flown to the famed Massachusetts island — constituting what the local tourism board called a “humanitarian crisis’’ Thursday.

If Texas's governor can bus a few thousand denizens from Joe Biden's border surge into the sanctuary cities of New York and Washington, why can't Florida's governor go one better and start flying them to tony Martha's Vineyard in the sanctuary state of Massachusetts? Turns out he has, and now Martha's Vineyard gets to be the border state. According to Breitbart News: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is responsible for the two planes full of illegal immigrants that landed at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts on Wednesday, according to Fox News.

As if inflation brought on by government overspending weren't high enough already, a new study shows that Joe Biden's illegal migrant surge is costing taxpayers $20.4 billion a year, or $9,232 for each illegal migrant. According to Fox News: FIRST ON FOX: The number of illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. since President Biden took office will cost the U.S. taxpayer over $20 billion each year, according to a new analysis by a hawkish immigration group. The study by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which advocates for lower levels of immigration overall, calculates that the illegal immigrants

Why Joe Biden can't change course on greenie madness 15 replies

In many ways, Joe Biden's presidency is a baffling one. He's down in the polls, his policies are disasters, but unlike, say, Bill Clinton, he can't change course, or moderate his direction, not even to save his presidency. He's particularly rigid on some of these policies, such as the green agenda, even as the voters say 'no' and the obvious political consequences of that are coming for him. So what gives? Is he simply too old to change? That doesn't explain it, because he's been a political weather vane for the duration of his entire career. Something is going on, and RealClearPolitics's Philip Wegmann may have put his finger on it.

The battle of life calls forth three noble and healthful psychological attributes: loyalty to kin and country; honor of work that protects and promotes survival; and, most fundamental to mental health, gratitude for the gift of life itself. Spirituality is always practical, and practicality is inherently spiritual, because they share the vital functions of protecting life and promoting full humanness. Loyalty to kin and country is essential to survival. Honoring those who labor in the many aspects of service is natural justice. The foundation of mental health is the experience of gratitude for the gift of life. Gratitude is the beautiful background music of life.
