It’s Time to Stop the Left’s ‘Fact

When Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died in September 2020 and President Trump began moving to replace her, the Left was at their typical level of rage. I was walking along Main Street in my hometown of Grapevine, Texas one morning shortly after the justice’s passing and was struck by a perspective of her career that I decided to tweet: Just a reminder that Ruth Bader Ginsburg could have casually retired at 80 yrs old under Obama and been replaced by an ultra progressive in their 40s . . . but they chose not to. It’s not Republicans’ or Trump’s fault

I'm still unclear on why conservatives of any sort even have accounts on Twitter, Facebook, etc. If all of them simply left, the Marxists would have no one to rail at, traffic would drop, ads would drop, revenue/profit/stock price would follow and they'd lose power.

I won't bother with Twitter. I do go on FB to see what the Grandchildren are doing and occasionally look at Instagram for the same reason I do NOT post! It's a nice way for a Grandma to stay in the Loop when living far away from them.

Still amazes me that people believe fascist social media after independent Internet tracking, as Elon Musk was looking for disclosure, revealed less than 8% of "real" Twitter participant post 90+% of the traffic with close to 30% computer generated? And people still get worked up over triggered posts on any of these sites? Sure looks like propaganda.

There is no need whatsoever to use Fakebook to keep up with anyone. The only social media I do is Truth Social and that’s because it was founded by President Trump.

Guaranteed some people that have been censored or canceled have felt repercussions in their wallet. The 'fact checkers' should most definitely be sued. They have cost people money. Fact checkers are nothing more than social media influencers. I rarely agree with what they say, and they definitely have no right to censor or cancel me. I'm not on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. They are lefty media platforms that do not believe in free speech. I do not need to be influenced. I can think for myself just fine, thank you.

I friended a number of good columnists like Don Surber and Clarice Feldman (or rather, they accepted me as a friend) so I see their posts...sometimes (they're being ghosted by the Zuck). I get 'fact checked' from time to time but... mostly I self edit... so I haven't run afoul of the powers-that-be to the extent of this author. The Monty Python crew came up with a game/activity that you could put on your computer. It was titled "A Magnificent Waste of Time." That's FB.

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy suggested Saturday that the United States' involvement in the war in Ukraine is "likely" tied to allegations that President Joe Biden's son received bribes from overseas energy firm Burisma. “The purpose of the U.S. military [is] to advance American interests, to protect the homeland. Not to aimlessly fight some random war that’s arguably a repayment for a private bribe that a family member of the United States received, $5 million from Burisma,” Ramaswamy said during a campaign event in front of around 60 Iowans in Council Bluffs.
