Cantor Fitzgerald LP will pay former President Barack Obama $400,000 to speak at a conference in September, likely the first of many lucrative Wall Street paydays. (snip) Obama doesn’t really need the money: He earned over $14 million for his first three books, and bidding for his next deal (a package with Michelle) has run over $60 million. But he has every right to cash in (snip) there is something a bit . . . rich here, given what Obama had to say in a 2010 speech (snip): “(snip). I mean, I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money.” Which makes you wonder when Obama will reach the point

Anybody remember the reaction to Reagan getting that $3million for some speeches he did overseas? They were furious with him on the Left and in the media, accusing him of being a money grubbing and greedy person. Not a peep from anybody right now with the multimillions the Pelosi clan, Biden clan, Turtle, and a whole lot of others are collecting while they are in office. At least Reagan waited until he left office to make his speeches. Turns out he knew he was sick and he wanted to provide for himself and Nancy. Obama is one of the shiftiest and slickest crooks in the swamp. He has never met a scam he didn't want to be part of. I still think he got Ukraine money for looking the other way while he was in office.

Less than a minute after the start of the hotly anticipated “My Son Hunter,” director Robert Davi and screenwriter Brian Godawa include an 11-word text scroll (with tongue firmly in cheek) that both downsizes and heightens the expectations of what we’re about to see: “This is not a true story … except for all the facts.” By doing this, the filmmakers somewhat defuse what is sure to be an onslaught of negative reactions from the mainstream media, its minions, and the dozen or so people who still think Joe Biden is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

At a national level there is a unique policy priority that almost every politician, on both sides, will avoid discussing. At a national level a single policy priority determines all other national policy issues. That policy is the national economic policy. The national economic policy of a presidential candidate determines all other national policies that flow from the presidential candidate. The national economic policy impacts the obvious policies like energy and trade, and also determines the lesser obvious policies like regulation and even foreign policy. It is specifically because a candidate’s national economic outlook impacts all other issues, that most national politicians never talk about it.
