The moral cowards at Brigham Young University (BYU) are rewarding a race hoax by eliminating a fan section at future volleyball games. Oh, and the innocent man falsely accused of this was escorted from the grounds and banned from the campus for life before the investigation into this hoax was completed. Yes, BYU punished an innocent man before the facts were known. And it was a lie. All of it. And we all knew it was a lie the moment it was reported. As we all now know, most “racial incidents” end up being hoaxes. Why? Because the market for American racism is much bigger than the supply. CORRECTION*

Do you periodically enjoy an adult beverage? I’m talking, of course, about a milkshake — the kind with whipped cream on top.
New York stores are now checking identification per a state law aimed to reduce drug deaths. The measure bans the sale of whipped cream canisters to anyone under 21.
From the Albany Times Union:
The chargers that propel whipped cream through a canister nozzle are filled with nitrous oxide gas, which can be inhaled to produce a high. The inhalant has long been a popular recreational drug — called “whippets” — among teenagers due to the availability of whipped cream canisters at grocery and convenience stores.

The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday gave its first full authorization to a COVID-19 booster and said the original COVID vaccines may no longer be used as boosters for people over the age of 12.
Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech booster vaccines were previously being given under emergency-use authorization.
With the agency's announcement, Moderna's COVID booster vaccine is now authorized as a single booster dose for people over the age of 18. Pfizer's booster vaccine is now authorized for ages 12 and up. The updated booster vaccines are bivalent, as they both include an mRNA component of the original COVID strain as well as an mRNA

This week, President Joe Biden—in search of a new label to pin on his political opponents after the failure of his “ultra-MAGA” branding, which prompted peals of laughter rather than shudders of horror—landed on a new slur with which to tar those who don’t support his agenda: they are, he said, semi-fascists.
Speaking with a crowd of Democratic donors in Maryland, Biden reportedly said, “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the—I’m going to say something—it’s semi-fascism.” Now, Democratic politicians painting half of Americans as beneath contempt is old hat.

It's only a day since we reported on California’s intention to outlaw sales of new combustion-engined vehicles from 2035, and already the ripples are being felt across the nation.
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) that governs motor vehicle emissions for the state adopted new rules that will require 35% of the new cars sold in the state are electric or plug-in hybrids by 2026, with that percentage rising to 68% by 2030 and 100% by 2035.
California has a waiver from the federal government to set its own air quality rules, and other states are allowed to opt into its regulations, which are typically more stringent than the national standards.

If there is anyone who is known for highlighting the importance of the working class, it would be “Dirty Jobs” Mike Rowe.
For years he has highlighted the problem of not enough people going into skilled trades, that the sole focus on an expensive college degree as the next step is adversely impacting our country. He’s indicated in the past that he’s not a fan of student loan forgiveness because of the fundamental unfairness of it all. Plus, it doesn’t solve the problem of high tuition, indeed, it makes it worse.
So if there was anyone who was going to have a notable reaction to Joe Biden’s student loan bailout,

As officials in the country express their fears about future gas riots this winter, the German government has announced a host of new energy rationing rules that will come into effect from next Thursday.
In what appears to be the latest attempt to avoid energy shortages this winter, the German government is to implement restrictions limiting the use of energy in the country.
Ministers appear to be hoping that the rationing efforts will help reduce the risk of energy shortages this coming winter, with a number of bigwigs now openly fearful of a future of public unrest and gas riots should people be left unable to adequately heat their homes.

President Joe Biden is set to announce student loan forgiveness of $10,000 — and perhaps more — for lower-income debtors on Wednesday, in a move that is unconstitutional, unfair, and dangerous for the stability of our economy and our democracy.
There is no doubt that some borrowers would benefit from student loan relief — especially young people, low earners, borrowers in the black community. It would help them avoid default, and perhaps allow some to enter the housing market.
Some of these debtors can truly be seen as victims of a system that urges young people to attend college when other paths might be better suited to their talents

A 13-year-old girl was arrested Tuesday in connection with the fatal beating of yellow cab driver Kutin Gyimah in Queens earlier this month.
The teen, who was charged with gang assault and theft of services, became the fourth suspect busted in the deadly Aug. 13 attack on the 52-year-old victim.
Police are still looking to charge another young female suspect. Gyimah, a married father of four, was ganged up on by a group of five assailants who hopped out of his taxi without paying in the Rockaways.
He chased them down on foot before he was attacked.
Austin Amos, 20, allegedly delivered the blow that caused the cabbie to fall to the ground

Defeated Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney confirmed Wednesday that she is “thinking about” running for the White House to keep her nemesis, former President Donald Trump, “out of the Oval Office.”
“It is something that I am thinking about and I’ll make a decision in the coming months,” the 56-year-old daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney told NBC News’ “Today” show.
“I will be doing whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office.”
Cheney insisted the Republican party “has really become a cult of personality” under Trump — who “continues to pose a very grave threat and risk to our republic.”
“I think it’s certainly the most important

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's (D-NY) district saw a 57% increase in major crime under her tenure, a new study found.
The district suffered massive increases in what the New York Police Department considers the seven "major" crimes of murder, rape, robbery, felonious assault, burglary, grand larceny, and grand larceny auto, a study by former NYPD inspector Paul Mauro found. Shootings went up by 47.05%, the study said.
"Let’s just say, with those numbers: Were she a precinct commander, she’d better have some answers for the chief of department," Mauro wrote in an opinion piece. The former inspector dismissed anticipated criticism that the end of coronavirus lockdowns was the culprit for the increase

Nolte makes a great point: ' the market for American racism is much bigger than the supply.' It's profitable for the hoaxers in more ways than one. Had anyone ever heard of Jessie Smollett before his famous hoax?
