Jane Fonda has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and has started chemotherapy, the 84-year-old actor announced Friday. She shared the news in an Instagram post, explaining that she is hopeful despite the diagnosis. "This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky," she wrote. She said she has been managing well with chemotherapy so far and intends on carrying on with her responsibilities. "I'm doing chemo for 6 months and am handling the treatments quite well and, believe me, I will not let any of this interfere with my climate activism," Fonda said. She

So relieved to hear that her lymphoma diagnosis will not deter Jane from her "climate activism." Was she doing something meaningful there? I do wish her good health, however. Cancer's not for sissies.

This miserable excuse for a human being caused unimaginable pain and suffering and death of hundreds of American troops during and after the Viet Nam war. She should have been arrested and put in federal prison for 20 years for the traitorous acts and deliberate treasonous visits she made of behalf of the North Vietnamese army. I was there, I saw what she did and the results of what she did. I am not sorry she has cancer, sorry, not sorry.....

The Fonda family has certainly enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame: dad Henry, brother Peter (still like him in Easy Rider) and daughter Jane. What I felt was missing from them was a healthy does of humility, being appreciative of the country that made it possible for them to live the way they have. This was especially absent in Jane, who has always been and continues to be disconnected from reality. I bet she felt she's made a difference in climate change seeing all the miles she's put in globally in her G-4's.

Bring in college in the 1960s, I remember Jane Fonda siding with the enemy. I also remember her brother,Peter, saying he thought Barron Trump should have been put in a cage with pedophiles because of the separation of mother and child at the border. Wonder what he’d say now. They’re are both repulsive and traitorous humans beings. I don’t wish her harm, I just don’t care.

Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. I had stage 4 lymphoma 6 years ago. Went thru chemo for 3 months and didn't lose a day of work. It's very treatable and survivable. If you could choose a cancer to have, that's the one. The treatment was miserable. And it's going to be really rough on an 84 year old woman.
