Bill Barr: FBI Did Nothing Wrong — ‘Tired

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said on Thursday’s installment of Bari Weiss’s “Honestly” podcast that he is tired of the “constant pandering” those on the right outraged by the FBI over the raid of Mar-a-Lago. Barr defended the DOJ and FBI’s handling of its ongoing investigation into former President Donald Trump allegedly storing government documents at his Florida residence.(Snip)Barr said, “Well, the Russiagate thing, I think, to the extent the FBI was misused was decisions made toward by high-level officials in the FBI. I don’t think that Chris Wray is that type of leader, nor do I think the people around Chris Wray are those types

Comments:

The weasel emerges from his spider hole to mock the American public, who probably deserve it. This is the guy who wouldn't dare lock up Hillary despite 30,000+ slam-dunk federal felonies, and whose underlings pressed and continue to press false charges against Donald Trump, and he did nothing at all about it. His father also hired the blackmailer Jefferey Epstein, so he might know a thing or two about dirty dealings and treason.

Bagpipe Bob was asked a straight forward question, "Why should we trust them anymore? You still give them the benefit of the doubt, but many other people in your party don’t.” Bagpipe Bob's response was pure Swamp goo, "...the Russiagate thing"..."to the extent the FBI was misused was decisions made toward by high-level officials in the FBI." What in the heck does "decisions made toward by high-level officials" mean? Then Bagpipe Bob declares he doesn't think Chris Wray or the people around him are "those type of leaders." Well, OK then. We have Bagpipe Bob's word for it that Chris Wray is just not the type to "throw the FBI’s weight around to interfere in the political process. Just the opposite. I think he’s very cautious about that.” Well, now that Bagpipe Bob has spoken there is no greater authority in American politics. We just have to trust the FBI is above all suspicion! The solution is to not get upset and pour fuel on the fire; it is "to win an election with a decisive majority that allows you to put a program into effect and deal with some of these problems going forward and fix them." Yes, my fellow Americans, let's win the election and fill those seats with good solid RINOs selected by Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy. They will put into effect programs that will deal with these problems that will fix them going forward and our Republic will flourish. Just trust the wise words of Bagpipe Bob and the Republican Party. or Vote Ultra MAGA!

I'll bet he's collecting a pension from dear ole US, and he's probably stealing more. Hence his daily declarations of whose side he's on. Please believe these people are lining their pockets with taxpayer money. We're at trillion dollar spending, folks. Trillions! What do we get except failure. Democrats are circling the wagon with their “Republican”partners. The whole cabal that resides near Washington DC and moves in and out of various positions through Republican and Democrat administrations are lawless arrogant self-serving tools of the absolute evil that has taken control of the political class. They abandoned any love or loyalty to this country long ago. It is now all about being on the side of the movers and shakers who run this country, the unelected anti-American bureaucracy. They are the power behind the scenes that keeps the corruption moving in a direction that benefits them. We lost control of the government when the bureaucrats became more powerful than the men and women elected by we the people. They are a ruthless evil cabal who have taken over the government from the inside and now decide who is elected and then direct how they govern. There is an entire underbelly of zealots who believe they are all powerful and have stepped into the light and exposed themselves as the real power brokers who can bring anyone to their knees with the power of the surveillance state. Our government has been taken over by these lawless megalomaniacs determined to protect their turf by any means necessary. Bill Barr is just a clog in the wheel that they control to toe the narrative. He is nothing to these men, a tool for whatever needs fixing. This unelected cabal has bought and paid for the vast majority of people in Washington through bribery and extortion. That they see Donald Trump as a threat is also an indicator that they may realize the fragility of their position if one man has the support of the American people and determines to take them on. President John F. Kennedy made a speech shorty before his assassination regarding breaking these agencies up into a thousand pieces. Was he eliminated because he threatened their very existence? Knowing what we do today, I would say it was a definite possibility.

Now that’s really rich: All the “outrage” is on the Left, not the Right. The Left is outraged by racial differences, by “micro agressions”, by wealth, by free speech, but the Constitution, and by everyone who is competent. Why else create CRT, DEI, SEL, ESG, etc? They are constantly outrage by their hurt feelings over trans, gay, Christian, anti-abortion, free speech, liberty and anyone who has money money than they do. Outrage was invented by Leftists. Barr is totally out to lunch.

An interesting story. When David Epstein was a young man, his first career break came when he received an appointment to teach math at the Dalton School, the fabulously wet-endowed, uber-elite private high school in Manhattan, ,New York City. This is THE school for children of the city's well-connected. It was a strange hire then, and seems even more so in retrospect, because Epstein was utterly uncredetialed for this job. Schools like Dalton often have teachers with M.As, even PH.D's. Epstein was a college dropout. No one gets a gig at places like Dalton with merely two years of college (from a relatively undistinguished school at that. The headmaster of Dalton who hired Epstein was Bill Barr's father. Just sayin'.

It's why during the first two years of the Trump administration it was like a revolving door with people coming and going. What more reason must we have to distrust the highest echelons of the Justice Dept and FBI? Continuing malfeasance, corruption, criminality by the Democrats and their ‘chosen’ henchmen against political opponents give us every reason to mistrust anything and everything they do. Equal justice is not too much to expect here in America, Mr. Barr. Perhaps you are intimidated by their tactics and power - don’t want to get in trouble with them nor lose the chance to attend their DC parties.

Former AG Bill Barr never ceases to shock me. When he was part of the Trump Administration, he refused to make moves or provide public statements that he thought might influence politics. He knew the Hunter Biden laptop was real and the NY Post story was legitimate. He even stated earlier this year in interviews that the suppression of that story and the letter from the 51 intelligence community (IC) liars claiming it was a "Russian information campaign" bordered on election interference and claimed he was flabbergasted when Biden lied about it during one of the Presidential debates. But, Barr refused to make any public statements at the time confirming the accuracy of the NY Post reporting or refuting the utterly false statements from the 51 IC liars, claiming that would be getting involved in politics. This is just one illustration. Yet, despite knowing what he knows about the misconduct of the FBI and DOJ on his watch, no less, here he is running political interference for them and the Biden Administration. His conduct since he left the AG's office confirms to me that Barr is nothing more than an Uni-Party establishment type. Now, he will run cover for the establishment. Very disappointing (and not courageous or principled at all).

In her 2017 testimony, given in a class-action lawsuit brought by tea party groups that the IRS admitted were wrongly treated, Ms. Lerner portrayed herself as a cog in the machine, trying to figure out how to process cases efficiently, rather than the anti-conservative crusader her private comments suggested. The results from a 109,000-patient Israeli study are likely to renew questions about the U.S. government’s use of Paxlovid, which has become the go-to treatment for COVID-19 due to its at-home convenience. The Biden administration has spent more than $10 billion purchasing the drug and making it available at thousands of pharmacies through its test-and-treat initiative.(Snip)But people between the ages of 40 and 65 saw no measurable benefit,

The United States is facing a looming crisis of utility shutoffs, with a record number of households falling behind on their power bills, industry observers and experts say. About 20 million US households, or one out of six homes, are behind on their utility bills, the most on record, according to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association (Neada). 'I expect a tsunami of shutoffs,' Jean Su, a senior attorney at the non-profit Center for Biological Diversity, which tracks the power industry, told Bloomberg this week. Electricity prices have soared due to rising costs for natural gas, which has skyrocketed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in late February.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed how the platform used an algorithm to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story when it first surfaced in 2020. During Thursday's Joe Rogan Experience Zuckerberg addressed the issue of media censorship and was asked by Rogan how Facebook handles controversial news topics. Zuckerberg explained how although the platform did not completely block the story like Twitter, it was still pushed down users newsfeeds for as long as a week until more information came down that would indicate whether the story was true or not.(Snip)Basically the background here is the FBI, I think basically came to us—some folks on our team and was like,

Joe Biden was warned by the Treasury Secretary and his wife not to cancel student debt, but pressed ahead regardless on the urging of Kamala Harris, it has been claimed. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen argued that with inflation around a 40-year high, the cancellation of student loans could free up consumer spending and drive inflation higher, the New York Times reported. Jill Biden, who works part-time as a college lecturer, also urged her husband to reconsider. She campaigned on free community college, but did not push for the cancellation of debt.

A bizarre assertion made by scientists in South Korea suggests that if the global population starts eating burgers and other food made out of earthworms, then world hunger would be greatly reduced. The New York Post reports that Dr. Hee Cho of Wonkwang University led a research project which concluded that mixing cooked mealworms, or beetle larvae, with sugar can produce a substance that resembles and allegedly tastes like meat. “Recently, eating insects has become of interest because of the increasing cost of animal protein, as well as the associated environmental issues,” Cho said in a press release after the project’s conclusion. “Insects are a nutritious and healthy food source

Who is really in charge? Joe Biden on Friday ‘dropped by’ a meeting with state and local officials on Women’s Equality Day to discuss ‘abortion access’ for women following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade. Biden decided to take a few softball questions from sycophantic reporters. Then he dropped this gem as he called on a reporter… “I’m sorry, I took control. I shouldn’t do that. I’m not allowed to do that,” said Biden as his handlers kicked out the press.

Hollywood star Drew Barrymore has been accused of “racism” for posting a video of herself dancing in the rain on social media. The short video shows Barrymore filming herself laughing, dancing, and encouraging others to enjoy the pouring rain. However, leftists pounced on the video and argued that it’s “racist” because she’s “frolicking in the rain.” The accusation comes from a “woke” activist with the handle @amushroomblackly who posted a video response, that quickly went viral, and accused Barrymore of cultural insensitivity. “Whenever you can, go out into the rain,” Barrymore says in her video.

A plan to save migratory salmon by demolishing four hydroelectric dams on California’s Klamath River got backing from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Friday. FERC released the final version of the environmental impact statement evaluating the dam demolition plan. FERC commissioners will vote on whether or not to implement the plan later this year. The dam’s operators filed an application to surrender the Lower Klamath Hydroelectric Project on Nov. 17, 2020. The project rests on 400 acres of federal land in Oregon and California, and consists of the Copco 1, Copco 2, Iron Gate, and J.C. Boyle Dams.(Snip)These dams were originally licensed by FERC in 1954; new guidelines suggested

It seems like just yesterday that politicians would try to sway voters to come to their point of view and cast a vote for them. Things have changed. In the past week, Charlie Crist told conservative voters he wants nothing to do with them because they're evil; Kathy Hochul told Republicans to leave her state; and, in the culmination of this abuse, Joe Biden effectively affixed the label "fascist" to Trump's 74,216,154 voters (all of whom are actual human beings). Is it any coincidence that, in the same week, activists twice swatted Marjorie Taylor Greene?

The media may think their clever reporting is hiding Biden’s decline from the world, but the world is well aware of it. Particularly in Australia. Sky News Australia host Andrew Bolt spoke with psychiatrist Tanveer Ahmed on his show and discussed Ahmed’s take on the cognitive condition of the leader of the free world. They weren’t the only ones who noticed this strange behavior from Biden and things are just getting worse. The New York Times published an article earlier this year on how “uncomfortable” Biden’s age is “for him, his team, and his party

Anchor Chuck Todd asked, “I’m curious. Liz Cheney said in some cases. She may have to help a diagram win against an anti-democracy Republican win. Do you feel that is what you will be doing the next couple of years or so?” Kinzinger said, “Yes. The biggest issue, not everybody agrees with me and certainly in my party and even Democrats like so say, but you’re still a conservative, yeah, I’m a conservative,

The exposition of the FBI’s behavior in the month of August has been something to behold. More recently, we learned that the FBI went to Facebook during the 2020 election and indicated that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. In reality, the bureau had known since 2019 that the story was real because they themselves were in possession of the laptop. Prior to that, the big story has been the raid of Donald Trump’s Florida home, which has led to numerous court clashes as the government has sought to keep the details secret. On Friday, the affidavit was released, much to the chagrin of the powers that be. What it revealed

After nearly two years of talking about it, Joe Biden finally rolled out his student-loan forgiveness plan … and apparently nothing else. According to Axios, the White House didn’t bother to gather the data on eligibility, didn’t create a system which would check it, and has no system yet in place to fully complete the process. Did Biden drop the ball again — or did he never expect to be allowed to run with it in the first place? The agency doesn’t have income data for most of the 43 million Americans eligible for forgiveness, meaning around 35 million people — including Pell Grant recipients — will have to attest

After President Biden announced his student loan handout plan on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, many parents immediately wondered about the status of the college loans they took out in their own names on behalf of their children. Many moms and dads took out Parent PLUS loans, the federal loans available to parents of undergraduate students to handle college expenses not covered by financial aid. Currently, at least 3.4 million Parent PLUS borrowers owe at least $87 billion, according to the Brookings Institute.
