Lois Lerner claimed ignorance of tea party
in secret deposition

Original Article

Lois Lerner claimed to have little knowledge of the tea party movement and what it stood for, even as she oversaw the IRS’s intrusive scrutiny of tea party groups’ applications for nonprofit status, according to newly released transcripts of a long-secret deposition she gave. In her 2017 testimony, given in a class-action lawsuit brought by tea party groups that the IRS admitted were wrongly treated, Ms. Lerner portrayed herself as a cog in the machine, trying to figure out how to process cases efficiently, rather than the anti-conservative crusader her private comments suggested. She brushed aside her email to colleagues about joining a pro-Obama group

Comments:

When will the partisan persecution of this bold American patriot end? She dindu nuthin, and that settles it. At least she was allowed to keep her pension. With battle-tested skills like hers, laughing off any and all Republican campaign trail claims that she should be in prison, she'd be a great choice to head up the 87,000-strong stormtrooper arm of the IRS.

Democrats tell obvious lies with a straight face to cover up acts where they were personally involved. They use their taxpayer funded government position as a tool to hobble and create a disadvantage for the opposing side. Yet, people seem to buy into it. They are always allowed to avoid any negative consequence for their actions and retire with a fantastic pension leaving the filed wide open for this kind of thing to continue.

She knew what she was doing. Orders were unnecessary, as Limbaugh pointed out. What embarrassed DC most was not Lerner's actions but Lerner herself. She was the kind of bloodless, ice-cold, remorseless, sociopathic bureaucrat that populates most of the swamp. A haughty blunt instrument whose party loyalty manifested itself in crimes, conspiracies and abuses of power. Bureaucrats like to think of themselves as sharp, put-together, competent. Lerner was none of these. No person drawing any government paycheck should be entitled to plead the Fifth Amendment when they are giving evidence - the Fifth is, or should be, reserved for those opposing the government, not working for it. A government worker pleading the fifth is essentially the government declaring itself innocent and that is a hallmark of tyrannies. Many on all sides dismissed Lerner, with her bizarre fish-belly white complexion, eyebrow pencil and ridiculous bob dyed an even more ridiculous shade of chestnut brown, as a less-than-pleasant cube critter who got caught up in something larger. But as we've seen, her actions and lack of punishment led every jumped-up swamper to fancy himself as a black-belt political operative. Lerner led to Strzok, Page, Vindman, McCabe, Rosenstein, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, et al and their conspiracy to subvert an election and a presidency.

Rome—Serbia’s populist President Aleksandar Vucic has cancelled EuroPride events scheduled to be celebrated in Belgrade in September, following massive street protests. As Breitbart News reported, two weeks ago some 50,000 demonstrators took to the streets of Belgrade, calling for the cancellation of the EuroPride event slated for September 12-18. Chanting slogans such as “Hands off our children!” and “Stop the parade of shame!” Belgrade residents rallied in support of traditional family values and against LGBT indoctrination. The protest also received support from the Serbian Orthodox Church, which has voiced opposition to the gay pride event taking place in Belgrade. Many of America’s biggest hospitals are looking to raise prices by as much as 15%, far exceeding already-soaring inflation rates. The Trump administration issued a hospital price-transparency rule in 2019 to help families fight such hikes and find high-value care—yet the Biden team isn’t enforcing this long-overdue policy. Millions of families will soon be stuck with bigger bills when they should be empowered to drive health-care prices down. Black residents in New York filed a lawsuit Monday arguing that the city’s attempt to allow noncitizens to vote in municipal elections is unconstitutional because it was a “racially motivated” move to siphon political power from Black residents to other racial or ethnic minorities. The lawsuit, filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation on behalf of four residents, said city council members who wrote the law last year made explicit racial appeals, saying they wanted to change “the color of the skin” of people who were voting in elections. And that hurts Black voters in particular, because the new noncitizen voters will be heavily Hispanic and Asian, and are expected
