The exposition of the FBI’s behavior in the month of August has been something to behold. More recently, we learned that the FBI went to Facebook during the 2020 election and indicated that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. In reality, the bureau had known since 2019 that the story was real because they themselves were in possession of the laptop. Prior to that, the big story has been the raid of Donald Trump’s Florida home, which has led to numerous court clashes as the government has sought to keep the details secret. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business estimated the price tag of President Biden’s student debt plan could grow to more than $1 trillion over the next decade if certain conditions take hold.
The study found the plan would cost $605 billion over the next decade under strict assumptions, but the price tag in other conditions could grow to more than $1 trillion, a scenario the researchers said “requires further study.” Biden on Wednesday announced the long-awaited plan, which cancels thousands of dollars in debt for many borrowers, extends a payment pause until the end of the year and caps monthly payments at a percentage of borrowers’ incomes.

One of the first things that Charlie Crist did when he won the Democratic primary for the governor’s race in Florida was to step in it big time by insulting Floridians who might support Gov. Ron DeSantis. He told them he didn’t want their vote and claimed they had “hate in their heart.” He then dug the hole deeper with his hilarious praise of Joe Biden which isn’t going to go over well in Florida. The Department of Justice released the redacted affidavit on Friday used to justify the raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

The short video shows Barrymore filming herself laughing, dancing, and encouraging others to enjoy the pouring rain.
However, leftists pounced on the video and argued that it’s “racist” because she’s “frolicking in the rain.”

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) that governs motor vehicle emissions for the state adopted new rules that will require 35% of the new cars sold in the state are electric or plug-in hybrids by 2026, with that percentage rising to 68% by 2030 and 100% by 2035.
California has a waiver from the federal government to set its own air quality rules, and other states are allowed to opt into its regulations, which are typically more stringent than the national standards.
