Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said on Friday that American households and businesses can expect to experience “pain” as the central bank aims to bring down soaring rates of inflation.
“Restoring price stability will take some time and requires using our tools forcefully to bring demand and supply into better balance,” Powell told policymakers on Friday. “While higher interest rates, slower growth and softer labor market conditions will bring down inflation, they will also bring some pain to households and businesses.” Powell added: “These are the unfortunate costs of reducing inflation.” Powell told central bankers that the Fed will likely impose more interest rate hikes in the months ahead

You, your family, and your heirs will be sacrificed for the errors of the elite and the politicians. The emasculation of the United States over the last 40 years ensures that you will do nothing but willingly be lead to slaughter.

Cut government spending to control inflation rather than printing money and expanding it. The policy now is like a fighter leaning into a right hook.

What about Powell's pain, is there any? Or has it all been offloaded on us sociopathically, without guilt?

The Fed has two responsibilities. First, keep employment up. Second, don't allow inflation. And now we must suffer for it? We need to get rid of the Fed and Central Bank. They own us. (literally) Crypto and Gold looks much better each day. That way the people control the money. Not the Fed. (Ponzi scheme)

Why is there a "Fed chairman"? Why do we still have - - after more than 100 years - - this absurd and useless entity - - concocted by the racist communist Woodie Wilson?
Aren't there any elected officials who will do something to kill off this monstrosity? Don't answer that last question - - I already know the answer.

Shouldn’t Powell in Wonderland be saying “ Americans should expect MORE ‘pain’ in fight against inflation since the Fed cannot pump more oil and nat gas or stop Biden’s inflationary spending”. Raising US interest rates won’t produce another barrel of oil or stop Biden from wasting another trillion plus on his delusional spending. Fed will just make car loans, mortgages and business loans far more expensive while reducing our standard of living. While giving Dementia Joe another false reason for attacking President Trump.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
–Thomas Jefferson
"You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning."

They say "pain", I say suffering. Suffering intentionally levied against Americans who's only voice, voting, has been replaced by vote counting (manipulation) machines.

While the Federal Reserve is inflicting economic pain on working Americans in the name of inflation reduction, the Biden administration (spits on ground) does everything possible to increase inflation. Yeah, that's gonna work out real well.

The Fed was established in 1913. Check out the history of inflation prior to and after 1913. Periods of inflation have been much more frequent and much more sever since the Fed was established.
Solution: Do away with the Fed, and simultaneously put the U.S. monetary system back on the gold standard. Problem solved !!

Trading the regulated FED ponzi scheme
for the unregulated crypto ponzi scheme
does not really seem like progress.
That being said, it does seem like it is way past time for the people
to do a rug pull on the FED...
A rug pull in crypto, for those that don't follow criminals,
is where the insiders, seeing the gig is up, grab up all the loose pellets
a crypto con has produced and head for their pirate jets.
Yeah I know...

There would be no inflation if old Joe would stop spending and giving away taxpayers money. Worst President ever! And liberals just keep voting for trailer trash.

The international Marxixt cabal is putting the screws to the peasantry, and we're going to like it. Our governments will waste unimaginable sums of money with the intent of grinding us between the millstones of taxation and inflation, and destroying our wealth while taxing us on illusory increases in value caused by inflation, and we're going to like that too.
