Hollywood Star Drew Barrymore Accused
of ‘Racism’ for Dancing in the Rain

Original Article

Hollywood star Drew Barrymore has been accused of “racism” for posting a video of herself dancing in the rain on social media. The short video shows Barrymore filming herself laughing, dancing, and encouraging others to enjoy the pouring rain. However, leftists pounced on the video and argued that it’s “racist” because she’s “frolicking in the rain.” The accusation comes from a “woke” activist with the handle @amushroomblackly who posted a video response, that quickly went viral, and accused Barrymore of cultural insensitivity. “Whenever you can, go out into the rain,” Barrymore says in her video.

The "logic" is impenatrable lunacy, as far as I can see. People living on racial hatred 24/7 are really completely deranged.

So, a tic toc trend about "frolicking blacks," led to some idiot blacks thinking they "owned" the word, "frolick." Ignore them. They also thought "niggardly" was some sort of racist term instead of looking it up. They thought "angel food cake" should be outlawed because a chocolate cake is called "devil's food cake." They are idiots. The dictionary must not be taken over by them.

Near as I can understand, the critic was upset that a white person put out a youtube video that was similar to some black youtube posters. Apparently, a white person must ask for permission if a black person has already posted a similar video. Dancing or frolicking is a black thing apparently. Ridiculous. Total BS.

Dancing in the rain is racist? I did not know that! The term "racist" has become irrelevant. Nobody knows what it means anymore. Next thing you know, Fred Astaire will be labeled as a racist because he was dancing in the rain while singing in the rain. That's how this logic is applied.

#10, did you mean Gene Kelly? Separate from that, I have rarely had to deal with bullies in my life, being a big person, but when I did, I found a common characteristic of the bully looking for a fight. The bully will make demands, and no matter what the other person does or says, it is never enough. The bully will make demands, more and more outrageous, and that pattern emerges frequently. Some Blacks have set themselves up as bullies, perhaps because of home environment, and they have to be offended by silly 'microaggressions.' So they expand the reasons to be offended. And no matter that the specific things are stopped, they invent new microaggressions. The best thing to do is ignore them. Whites wearing corn row hair styles, large hoop earrings, are microaggressions. Now dancing in the rain has become one?

Years late and billions over budget, NASA’s new moon rocket makes its debut next week in a high-stakes test flight before astronauts get on top. The 322-foot (98-meter) rocket will attempt to send an empty crew capsule into a far-flung lunar orbit, 50 years after NASA's famed Apollo moonshots. If all goes well, astronauts could strap in as soon as 2024 for a lap around the moon, with NASA aiming to land two people on the lunar surface by the end of 2025. Liftoff is set for Monday morning from NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The six-week test flight is risky and could be cut short if something fails, NASA officials warn.

This support came despite known or predicted collateral harms, including loss of livelihoods, elevated mortality from neglect of other diseases and ailments, “deaths of despair” from greater loneliness, and police abuses. The answer, they said, is the moralization of restrictions in pursuit of a Covid eradication strategy. People did not take kindly even to mere questioning of the restrictions.
