Ex-VP Pence shuns far-right calls to defund
FBI, likens it to Dems’ calls to defund police

Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday came out against calls within the GOP to defund the FBI following the raid of former President Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago. Mr. Pence also left the door open to testifying before the House Jan. 6 committee, saying he “would have to reflect on that.”(Snip)Mr. Pence made it clear where he stood in the debate. “Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police,” Mr. Pence said in response to a question at a “Politics and Eggs” breakfast at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College, according to CBS.

Every banana republic needs a secret police force. And in our case, it's been redoubled by a new branch of armed and politicized "revenue" agents who are free to seize assets as they please. What reasonable American would question such things?

Gotta give Pence the benefit of the doubt. After all he was standing right next to Pelosi when she stretched out her arms and tore up President Trump's State of the Union speech and never saw a thing. Whata guy.

Pence is stupid, naive or corrupt, take your choice. If he can't see the corruption in the FBI and its totally disparate application of law between the parties, then he is all three. The cops are doing their job and the Left doesn't want them to so they call for their defunding. The FBI is corrupt to the core and is using its power for political ends. There is no comparison. Pence is going down in the view of real conservatives faster than Bush did.

The FBI seems wholly unaccountable to the public. Even Congress has to step aside when Wray needs to leave to fly private to his vacation destination. As i recall there are citizen review boards with police oversight powers. I don’t propose abolishing the FBI but by God it’s a rogue organization free of oversight by the citizens or their representatives.

How this RINO ever became vice president is a mystery. The FBI should be defunded if not dissovled because it has become a rogue agency and an extension of the Democrat party not unlike Hitler's Geheim Staats Polizei or the Soviet KGB. They were under orders from the Nazis and the CCCP, Soviet communist party. The FBI is now loyal to the Democrat party.

Let me explain this for you Mikey. The defend the police movement was about destroying local control of law enforcement for the purpose of ushering in a federal take over. The FBI is such an entity hence the F in FBI. So you see, it is a consistent anti big bloated corrupt government position to be both against the defund the police and for dismantling the FBI. I hope that helps.

I don't want to defund the FBI. I want to elminate them. All the agents who aren't corrupt can get jobs with local law enforcement around the country which is where the crime problem is. The FBI hasn't done anything useful since they got Pretty Boy Floyd. All they are now is the enforement agency for the demoncraps.

Pence and wife are very longtime swamp dwellers and many Indiana conservatives did warn about him. The U.S. Marshals Service is drafting a sanctuary policy that would limit the agency’s ability to hold illegal immigrants for pickup by ICE, The Washington Times has learned. Under the policy, marshals would not be able to hold illegal immigrants for pickup by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the say-so of an immigration warrant, or “detainer” request. Once the Marshals Service is finished processing an immigrant for its custody purposes, the person is to be released even if ICE has asked for a hold. Officials said the policy is still in draft form, though The Times knows of one jurisdiction in Florida where it has already been implemented,

Since the outset of the global monkeypox outbreak in May, public health and infectious disease experts have told the public that the virus is largely transmitting through skin-to-skin contact, in particular during sex between men. Now, however, an expanding cadre of experts has come to believe that sex between men itself — both anal as well as oral intercourse — is likely the main driver of global monkeypox transmission. The skin contact that comes with sex, these experts say, is probably much less of a risk factor.
