Actress Anne Heche has been intubated in a critical condition after crashing her Mini into a garage before speeding off and smashing it into an apartment block where it exploded. The 53-year-old suffered horrific burns during the collision and was recorded being dragged out of the mangled wreck by firefighters after it burst into flames in LA around 11am. She writhed around on the stretcher before she was bundled into the back of an ambulance and rushed to a nerby intensive car unit. Shocking images also show the burnt out wreckage of her Mini Clubman as it was towed out of a hedge across the road from a school

The Mini Clubman is NOT as nimble as most of the smaller Minis. Sad. Shades of the Marc Bolan (T-Rex) death in a Mini in 1977.

She was Ellen DeGeneres' main squeeze for a few years before Heche decided she liked men again. Sounds like she had some kind of mental issues... Burns are extremely painful, wouldn't wish them on (just about) anyone. Intubation is where they put a breathing tube down someone's throat to help them breathe.

Girl, your problems are only just beginning. You're going to lose your license, suffer through a DUI, you need another car (but maybe not), you burned down someone's house, you'll be sued for that, you're going to incur massive medical bills and rehab for your burns. Good luck to you. Maybe it took this Richard Pryor Moment to wake you up and straighten up.

She deserves everything that homeowner can throw at her. Same with the owner of the garage she smashed into. She looked totally wasted in that one photo. Across from a school? Glad they were still on summer vacation. That is a terrifying picture of the car too. Her history with Hollywood though should open up some eyes. Don't they preach accepting every lifestyle, no matter how bad it is? To shun her for a decade because she got involved with Ellen Degenerate is wrong. IIRC, she got her start on a soap opera like a lot of the better actors of Hollywood. Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon, Meg Ryan are just a few who got their start on the Soaps.

Intubated means she has a breathing tube in her mouth, passed through her vocal cords and now is on life support (Mechanical ventilation). One doesn't know the absolute details why she requires life support. Though the article isn't specific enough, it implies there are multiple reasons she may have required to be put on life support. Regardless, it signifies she has had significant injuries. That said, why does some burning out has been actress deserve news when this happens to hundreds, nay, thousands of US citizens a day?

If memory serves, Heche had some sort of meltdown after she broke up with Ellen Degeneres, and was wandering around disoriented in a neighborhood. She seemed to get things together for a decade or so, but it sure sounds like she had another meltdown.

That last photo of her in the car showed a haggard, scrawny pathetic woman, at least in part to what seems evidence for drunkenness. Regardless, such burn injuries and damage, horrible to endure. Intubation as she can't breathe on her own, probably in a medically induced coma (or something like that?). If she survives, her road to recovery will be very difficult, no doubt she will look very different if she had burns to her upper body. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Thanks #3. So, if I understand what you said correctly, whenever one is completely bombed and driving through a residential neighborhood at 100+ mph, risking impact with houses, trees, pedestrians, etc. the Mini Cooper beats the Clubman for responsiveness. That's one of the worst crashes I've ever seen. No other publication has photography like the Daily Mail. In the article there was a bit of video from a doorbell camera showing Heche's small car going past at one hundred miles per hour, then seconds later the crash could be heard. The article states that she is going to live, but burns are perhaps the most painful injuries of all. As other have said, we wouldn't wish this on anyone. Heche has always been messed up spiritually. She does need Jesus in her life.

I remember seeing one of her movies many years ago in which she went bra-less and wore clingy blouses and thought that the entire purpose of the film was to show off her nipples. After looking at the photos in the article, it appears that she is still doing it. I’ve driven a Mini Cooper LS for about 10 years and now have my second one. Absolutely love them. But then, I don’t drink at all and I rarely drive more than 5 miles over the limit. Her recovery is going to be hell. I hope that they keep her in a coma until the worst of the pain has subsided.

Project Veritas's whistleblower materials revealing that the FBI views the Gadsden and Betsy Ross flags, the Liberty Tree, and a smorgasbord of other Revolutionary War symbols as evidence of domestic terrorism are just further proof that the feds' secret police force no longer bleeds red, white, and blue (although it does probably give new recruits hammer and sickle tattoos). A federal agency with both intelligence-gathering and law enforcement functions is dangerous enough to any free society, but one that openly views the spirit of 1776 as a threat to the Republic has lost any vestige of a more noble purpose to defend the country from its enemies.
