A straw poll of conservatives revealed on Saturday that Donald Trump is strengthening his grip on the party grassroots, but also found that Gavin Newsom is viewed by many as the likely Democratic runner in 2024. Only eight percent of attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas Texas thought that President Joe Biden will be on the ticket. In contrast, 37 percent said they believed the California governor - who has been dinging Republican governors in Texas and Florida with newspaper and TV ads - will win the Democratic nomination. 'You're saying it's going to be Gavin Newsom,' said pollster Jim McLaughlin to the crowd.

I was for DeSantis until the J6 committee went overboard. Now I will support Trump to show the idiots on the committee that their version of a show trial shall not stand. There is much that needs to be aired about the 2020 election that is being swept under the rug. Politics today is a contact sport and DeSantis is showing the way. Trump 2024, DeSantis 2028.

I will be very surprised if Gavin Newsom is the Democrat nominee in 2024. His political path from San Francisco County supervisor to mayor of San Francisco to Lieutenant Governor to Governor was greased by the San Francisco political machine that runs California. He is the product of the one-party state political system that put him where he is. Kamela Harris's political career is much the same as Newsom's and we saw how poorly she did against her fellow Democrats in the 2020 election cycle. Any competent Democrat opponent who has prevailed in a serious contest should be able to wipe Newsom out. Certainly any Republican presidential nominee should be able to run circles around the pampered Newsom.

For those of us who have lived under Governor Grusome's tyranny, the political ads for his presidency will be hilarious! The governor of poopville is running for president of the United States. The governor of drugs, needles, illegal aliens sleeping on your front lawns is running for president. Governor Moosalini who closed the beaches and the parks and the ocean for a virus, is running for president. A governor who can go out to a high priced restaurant for a meal, but his citizens are locked up in their homes, is running for president. That will go over big with the rest of the country who hate the Covid scam.

There is a "deep state" of government bureaucrats who regularly disrupt the commander in chief's plans, former President Donald Trump said in a recent interview. In talking with popular conservative commentator Dan Bongino, Trump opened up about how officials within his own administration created roadblocks for his agenda and put blame on recommendations he received from "RINOS," or Republicans in Name Only, a pejorative often used to criticize fellow members of the GOP. "Look, there is a deep state," Trump said. "There is a group of people that are not doing a very good job for the country."

CNN has discovered that Liz Cheney’s position is truly as bad as it seems, with that position looking even worse given her recent, desperate releases of media meant to stimulate Republicans into voting for her: an image of Kevin Costner, the actor that shot and killed someone on set, supporting her and a video of her dad, the warmonger that bathed Iraq in blood, claiming that Trump is a threat to the republic. Predictably, Republican voters weren’t particularly impressed with a return to the Bush days or with a far-left actor that negligently shot someone (I guess he has that in common with Dick Cheney) supporting her,
