The talk in the media is about a “beefed-up” IRS. The IRS budget for FY 2022 totals nearly $14 billion ($11.9 billion in appropriated funds) with a full-time equivalent (FTE) staff ceiling of 79,808 (75,533 from appropriated funding.)
Now, the Democrat-controlled Congress, at the behest of the Biden Administration, wants to take that up an additional almost $80 billion, with 1% going to Department of the Treasury offices other than the IRS. That adds up to nearly $93 billion, seven times this year’s budget. SEVEN TIMES.

This is all about expanding the IRS Gestapo role in attacking political enemies - i.e. Patriots & Trump supporters.

In my working career, I went through two tax audits for the small proprietorship I worked for. If the agent was a typical example of IRS agents, we have very little to worry about. She was one of the most ignorant individuals I have ever met and knew zero about accounting.

With the IRS new Gestapo powers, don't forget the IRS has approved the purchase of 5500 weapons and 500 million rounds of ammo. Why do a bunch of accountants need such firepower?
How long before an "Accountant" pulls out his weapon on a citizen?

Mind boggling. Remember when there were no guns or ammo to buy because the government was buying everything? They are continuing that. I heard the amount of weapons and ammo owned by the IRS recently, don't remember the numbers, but we should be very afraid.

Next thing you know, it'll be mandatory to put your political party on the tax forms so the bean counters can be sure to audit the 'right' people. At gunpoint.

Adding a bunch of "wokesters" to the Federal payroll won't make the IRS more efficient, they'll just be able to cancel the student loan debt of a bunch more young morons who have ZERO understanding of American Tax Law, much less Personal Finance. Our CPA deals with IRS agents on occassion and says they're way out of their league with the overworked "old guard" retiring in droves. Buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride.

It is going to be a very tight budget for the IRS after the midterm elections because the House of Representatives holds the purse strings. Their next budget is going to see some very strong shifts in priorities. Defund the Gestapo. Appropriated funding can be rescinded by congress. The increased staff explains why the IRS has been hoarding munitions for years now.

Pretty obvious what weapons and a large influx in manpower looks like. An Army. To paraphrase Mr Trump "it's not about me. I'm just standing in the way. They're coming for you." The only question I have is - will the American people, by and large, simply submit? How far can you push a country before you "break it"?

The IRS can't process this years tax returns as millions of unprocessed returns sit in processing centers across the US. How about modernizing how returns are processed or simplify the tax code to a flat tax of 10%. The Fed shouldn't be any better than tithing to a religious institution.

It sure don't add up. 87,000 more auditors would be 1,740 per state. But it is worse, as they will be concentrated in the larger state, and concentrated in the larger cities. So Texas would get about 5,000 more auditors, and in 5 major cities, that would be 1,000 or more hitting Houston. And they won't be targeting big business, who have armies of accountants and lawyers. They will be targeting individuals and small business. And what is the justification, other that harassment. None, as the vast majority of returns are supported by 1099's, W-2's, and other crosschecks, such as reasonable deduction percentages, making it unnecessary to audit most returns. This new Democrat bill reeks of stench.

ya know...IF they just simplified the tax code, even if that resulted in Tax Cuts...they could save the $80billion, get by with fewer agents, achieve higher compliance, lessen the workload both for the agency AND the taxpayer. Already EVERY month sets new records in the amount of Tax Collected, they are bragging that their new "Deficit reduction Bill" will reduce deficits by $100billion over ten years...ten years of NOT having 87,000 new IRS agents would reduce it by nearly $1Trillion.

This was never about getting the big time tax cheats. They have the money to higher the tax lawyers to fight the law suits. No, they will go after the people making less than $200,000 a year because they can’t afford the tax lawyers. And, you can bet that they will create a case out of whole cloth. Even, if you win the case you still loose because the legal bills will be more than the fine.
This is an attack on the middle and working classes who have voted against the woke “progressives” who are destroying our country.

Oh yes it does! Think about it. BIG tax payers can afford top of the line lawyers to find the loopholes. Middle classes and small businesses can't afford them. So they will either give up and pay without a fight, even if that can't afford it, or close up shop. This is all part of the wonderful world of Soros, who is "reimagining" the United States.

Time for U S cash purchases and barter as an alternative to credit cards that can be audited quickly...these agents will get a percentage of everything they can conjure up...so be careful folks...the government is looking into controlling your wallets because that's their bread and butter...YOUR money...

Lois Lerner comes to mind. This is Obama's dream. They are in the process of politically weaponizing the IRS to go after Republicans, conservatives and conservative PACs, etc..
If you contribute to the Marxist's enemies (conservatives) - you get an audit.
If you are the NRA - you get audited every year until you go broke.
If you are a Tea Party organization, you lose your 501 status.
Etc.
This is Marxist tyranny at its worst. The Founding Fathers are turning in their graves.

Ask Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote. She can tell you what the IRS tried to do to destroy her and her company's business when she applied for her 501C3 for her True the Vote during the Obama regime. Tens of govt. agencies came to her company with "trumped up" charges. But Catherine has had the last laugh. She is the author of "2,000 Mules" that Danesh Sousa made a movie of. God bless you, Catherine Engelbrecht, you are an inspiration to all of us conservatives!
