[Watch] The 'Ninja' That Killed Zawahiri
Ain't Your Daddy's Hellfire Missile

Original Article

The hellfire missiles that are said to have taken out Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, but not his family, are a newer generation of missiles that are high on precision and devoid of explosives. The AGM 14 R9X missile, made by Lockheed Martin, can be fired from, in Zawahiri’s case, a Reaper drone as well as other platforms. It can be fired from 600 miles away. Because its payload is tungsten and not packed explosives, this version of the hellfire doesn’t have the accompanying explosion– unless it hits, for instance, a full gas tank in a car. The R9X is called a Ninja because of the six blades deployed during flight

I was reading up on this earlier. When its about to hit, the blades open up and it looks kind of like an umbrella without the fabric. Chops up whatever is in its path in a very narrow swath. For it to work it would have to have absolutely pinpoint accuracy, down to the inch. It is frightening that such accuracy exists.

I am ashamed by this blatant display of cultural appropriation by our military aggressors. We must apologize to our Japanese allies for the Ninja, and to the Taliban for sending their Troglodyte to Hell with such an insensitive weapon. Impeach Brandon!

Are we sure that Ayman al-Zawahiri was Ginzu'd. Lame Duck Joe's evidence was hearsay from another source. No photo exists. Hopefully, he was sliced and diced like a sushi roll. Need better evidence than Lame Duck saying he did it.

A remote control, flying barlow! What'll they think of next? Same as everyone else around here, I'd like to see the pieces of al-Zawahri and have separate DNA confirmation (if a sample could be collected), whether he got sliced "wahfer-thin" or cut into six equal longitudinal strips by the Ginsu bearing drone. It's possible that the CIA lived up to its old reputation of killing the wrong guy with politicians celebrating unworthily afterward. Now they tell us that the old terrorist is no more. "Isn't it pretty to think so?" Let's see the not so pretty part.

Rep. Mayra Flores is getting right to work on following through on campaign promises. One of the main focuses of her campaign was border security. The first bill she co-introduced in Congress is one on border security. It’s a bipartisan bill. That’s important during this time of record-breaking illegal immigration and drug trafficking. A press release notes that Flores, along with Republican Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14), Democrats Susie Lee (NV-03), and Chris Pappas (NH-01), introduced the Advanced Border Coordination Act. Companion legislation was introduced in the Senate by Senator Cortez Masto (D-NV) earlier this year. The bill focuses on strengthening border security by improving law enforcement communication and coordination

Americans are no strangers to “times that try men’s souls,” to borrow a phrase from Thomas Paine. By mid-1945, the United States had been at war for three-and-a-half years, enduring the draft, separation from loved ones, mounting numbers of casualties, and rationing, with no end in sight. Many Americans were weary, not unlike our feelings now, after two-and-a-half years of privations and anguish related to the COVID-19 pandemic. That sense of anxiety and the widespread desire to return to normality brought to mind how World War II was suddenly – and to many, unexpectedly – resolved.

Craft breweries across America have been on the front lines of businesses facing higher material costs because of inflation. Now, many are confronting a shortage of a key ingredient: carbon dioxide, the gas that gives beer its crisp, effervescent taste. And one brewer has already said it plans to shut down a key manufacturing plant and lay off workers as a result. Night Shift Brewing, in Everett, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, cited the CO2 shortage as the reason it is suspending operations at its longtime facility and outsourcing to nearby locations instead. "Come October 1, we won’t likely have jobs for many of this team," the company said in a statement on Instagram.
