Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-SD) is joining Democrats, as well as the big business lobby, in asking President Joe Biden for more legal immigration to the United States to fill American jobs. Even as the nation’s foreign-born population has hit record highs, Thune says the Biden administration is not importing enough H-2B foreign visa workers to fill blue-collar seasonal jobs in the U.S.

Oh yeah, you just know it will be "legal" immigrants, Joe apparently prefers the illegals, and the count at the border, and the midnight flights to anywhere USA proves that. I don't think there is enough manpower in this country to vet all those illegals who have been released in this country, or even know where they are. The legals are the last thing on Joe's feeble mind, just like America is now last, never first with this moron.

This has been planned for a long time. Next they will ask for foreign (China) peacekeepers because we are overwhelmed with crime and we don’t have enough police. Have you noticed all the foreign doctors and nurses since Obamacare? Our hospitals are short staffed and it is not because of Covid. We have a shortage of pilots because They were not allowed to work if they did not get the clot shot. Now they have to be retrained. Who will be flying our planes? Anyone besides me seeing a pattern here?

Every business I go into has a "help wanted" sign; I would like to know what is really going on. Is the government providing unemployment benefits or stimulus checks indefinitely? What I do know is that a good number of non-working individuals have taken advantage of this to apply for disabillity.. What a great country we live in!

We don't need anymore immigrants. There are plenty of people here capable of working but they are getting kinds of free stuff so why should they? This a burden on the taxpayers and needs to stop right now. Cut back on the freebies.

Just shut OFF the Money flowing from the Government and those "workers" will show up to the open Jobs. As long as they are collecting a pay check to STAY HOME, they won't work! If you're 18, or over, NO paycheck from Uncle Sam! Go find a job. There are thousands of Restaurants, Factories and Stores crying for help. We don't need to bring in more people to fill those jobs, the People who SHOULD fill them are living right here and are sitting home, collecting a check, and laughing at the Stupid People sending them money for doing nothing!

H2B workers are skilled legal immigrants that are economically valuable to the country. The Biden administration is not interested in those, they want poor, unskilled, illiterates to become dependent on government services and be future democrat voters. Canada and Australia have merit-based immigration systems that are based on education, job-skills, and fluency in English.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has been behind this crap for decades as well as behind the shipping of jobs overseas. The Supreme Court ruling Thursday that reined in the Environmental Protection Agency‘s power to regulate climate change was a win for conservatives who have long sought to shrink the “administrative state,” a power federal agencies wield over large swaths of the U.S. economy and everyday life. But environmental experts and advocates have warned that it could have far-reaching implications for both combating climate change and how the federal government sets other regulations. “The court has placed its thumb on the scales — an anti-regulatory thumb — that’s going to make it much more difficult for agencies to regulate,”

If you’re keeping an eye on what Sen. John Cornyn has in store for your Second Amendment rights, you might want to watch his other hand. He has just recently reintroduced the Civics Secures Democracy Act, which would enable the federal government to impose critical race theory (CRT) — that is, state-sanctioned racism and anti-Americanism — on public school civics courses via federal grants. Of course, the drafters of the bill are too politically savvy to explicitly endorse critical race theory.

For congressional Republicans, the election can’t come soon enough. In the modern era, it’s hard to think of a time when the party out of power had more things going its way. Harry Enten, CNN’s political data analyst, recently noted that going by the generic ballot, things haven’t looked this good for Republicans to pick up House seats in the midterms since 1938. Since 1980, the party of the president in power has lost an average of 22 seats in the midterms. Republicans need only nine to win the majority. Of course, Republicans think this means they’re doing something right.
