If you’re keeping an eye on what Sen. John Cornyn has in store for your Second Amendment rights, you might want to watch his other hand. He has just recently reintroduced the Civics Secures Democracy Act, which would enable the federal government to impose critical race theory (CRT) — that is, state-sanctioned racism and anti-Americanism — on public school civics courses via federal grants.
Of course, the drafters of the bill are too politically savvy to explicitly endorse critical race theory.

Cronyn has never struck me as bright but I didn't know he was corrupt. This monstrosity of a bill is harmful and, by slandering people of the white race, will get innocent people killed. Nothing good will come of this and Cronyn will have blood on his hands.

The GOP establishment RINOs are in full capitulation mode right now, doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory for the 2022 election. Of course Cornyn isn't facing his next election until 2026.

Whatever the left has on this Cronyn clown must be mighty powerful. Picture of him in a compromising position with a goat perhaps? Wake up Texas. You people have got to do a whole lot better than this.

Cornyn has committed to never run for election again in Texas...His treasonous leftist leanings are coming to the fore. He like the Bushies should have never left the northeast where their brand of politics are more acceptable. As it stands now he is in great need to be taken to the woodshed for the results of his actions.

Could it be that Cornyn has joined the Vegetable in Chief in the Dementia class??
He has certainly forgotten the BASE in Texas who elected him over MJ Hegar.... unless there is money to be made or he is trying plow the road to get Demonrat Socialist Marrxists to vote for him in a potential run in 2024 for President.

Cornyn has turned in to a POS since being re-elected but the real issue is the age old probkem of Government spending. We send tax money to DC then they send a portion back and tell us how we have to spend it! The 16th through 19th Amendments are the worst things to happen to the country and all during the 19 teens.

It's amazing how many white people have gone against their own race.
What is the matter with people who want CRT in their schools.
If the school were separating blacks and telling them they are the reason whites cannot get ahead the public would go wild.

Cornyn was booed off the stage at the Texas GOP Convention for selling out his constituents on gun control. Then when the gun bill passed, he gloated that, “immigration is next”! Now CRT. Cornyn is unwelcome within a mile of campaign appearances by sensible GOP statewide candidates in Texas. The same with Republican federal candidates there. Cornyn is a pariah. He is the Texas version of Liz Cheney. But as stated above, we are stuck with him until at least 2026.

He is 70 years old and will be 74 when his term is up. No way he runs again, no way he wins again. Why is it that all of the GOP Politicians only vote conservatively when their jobs depend on it? They say they share our perspective and VOTE FOR ME. But it always turns out to be a lie. How is that? How do we avoid that? Our perspective is the majority of America's perspective... so what is going on here?

And THIS is why I have no time or money for the Republicrat party, ever never again. Nada, squat, zip. I'm COMPLETELY done with them. At least the democrats look you in the eye and tell you they're gonna screw you. These measly rats lie like rugs and then rat on you. Just look at that Oz guy for extra proof.

When he first ran for the Senate, and was still campaigning in small towns and actually talking to people one on one, I ask him to not forget where he came from. Guess he has.

#6 - The question ought to be who are the fools that re-elected him.
So, the legislation provides for $6 billion to improve civics and American history education primarily for “traditionally underserved students”...who's against that? Poor kids...they have a need to know! Small investment in patriotism.
And that's how politics works.

It is not hard, #6. The Bush-Rove machine runs TX GOP. Look at our map of areas that used to be bright cherry WY red and are now encroaching pinker. Cornyn has been a well-known rat for his last few terms. He is stuck to Mitch like glue and helps lead the Senate Republicans. We should have tossed him out a long time ago.
