As expected, Pritzger has just called for gun control. Good luck collecting weapons in the hood without police. Maybe the Governor can go door to door asking gangstas to hand em over?

Watched a number of the videos he had posted. In one of them, he has what looks like a newspaper headline saying "Oswald Slain" adhered to his wall. He had a strange fascination/connection with the FBI. Posted pictures of himself wearing an FBI cap (2021) and ended one of his videos “Bye FBI Agent Man” and a wave. His parents own a deli and his father ran for Mayor of Highland Park in 2019. Like all of these shootings, I suspect there will be many unanswered questions and things that don't make sense.

Justice Department sues Arizona for requiring
proof of ctizienship to vote in presidential elections

The Justice Department has filed suit against Arizona challenging its recently enacted voting law that requires proof of citizenship in order to vote in presidential elections. The lawsuit contends that certain restrictions in Arizona's House Bill 2492 directly violate Section 6 of the National Voter Registration Act and Section 101 of the Civil Rights Act. The Supreme Court previously rejected an effort by Arizona in 2013 to require its residents to provide proof of citizenship in order to participate in federal elections, though after President Joe Biden's victory against Donald Trump in 2020 the state quickly sought to implement a similar mandate in passing House Bill 2492.

A Georgia special grand jury on Tuesday issued subpoenas demanding testimony from Republican U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and the attorney Rudy Giuliani as part of an investigation of possible criminal interference in that state's 2020 election by former President Donald Trump. Also subpoenaed were members of Trump's campaign legal team in addition to Giuliani, who led their effort to overturn the election victories of President Joe Biden in several swing states, including Georgia. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney signed off on the subpoenas issued by the grand jury, which is meeting in Atlanta under his oversight. McBurney is required to authorize subpoenas issued to nonresidents of Georgia.

The shooter who allegedly opened fire on the Highland Park Fourth of July parade was dressed in women’s clothing to disguise himself and aid his escape, police said Tuesday. Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III, 21, is accused of killing 6 innocent parade-goers and injuring at least 30 others after he allegedly climbed onto the roof of a business in the wealthy Chicago suburb on Monday and fired off 70 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle. He then ditched the legally purchased weapon on the roof so he could blend in with the crowd as he fled during the chaos, Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli told a news briefing.

They just took him into custody. There were reports that the shooter may have been firing from the top of a roof. He killed 6 people and at least 26 people were injured during the attack. The police found a rifle at the scene they believe the shooter used. They have not yet identified the type of rifle. You can see people fleeing the shooting, as the band continues to play on the float. These were pictures from Crimo’s Facebook.

Rather that waiting for a Ted Kennedy-like figure to challenge him in the 2024 primaries, which would likely doom Democrats to certain defeat, the left will need to push him out early, and clear the calendar for one or more Democrats to organize a serious presidential campaign. Sending condolences to those who had lost loved ones, she said she wanted to encourage Danes to stand together and support each other in this difficult time. "Denmark was hit by a cruel attack on Sunday night," she said.

The Texas Supreme Court on Friday blocked a lower court order that had allowed abortionists in the state to continue seeing patients. Texas has had an abortion ban in place that was unenforceable during the 50 years that Roe v. Wade legalized abortion. After the Supreme Court overturned Roe last week, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton warned that “abortion providers could be criminally liable for providing abortions starting today” because of Texas’s “abortion prohibitions predating Roe.” A Houston judge issued a ruling earlier this week allowing clinics to temporarily resume abortions up to six weeks into pregnancy.
