During an attempted robbery at Ryan Howard Jersey store in Philadelphia, the would-be robber received instant justice and was killed. As a man tried to get money out of an ATM just after 1 a.m., another man walked into the store and announced a robbery, police said. Police believe the victim then took out his own gun and shoot the would-be robber who died. Police are now looking for the victim and they would like to charge him because of Pennsylvania's stand your ground rule. Police have not identified him, but say he is in his late 20s or early 30s.

Am I reading this right?? The guy with the Phillies shirt is the suspect?? That was self-defense, most definitely. His life was threatened and in danger, and he retaliated. I don’t see the problem. However, those sling bags are a bad idea, look how long it took him to draw. Could have easily gone the other way. Holster it on the body.

If I was on the jury, the guy with the bag would walk. The attacker had a .22 pistol, I believe it is a Buckmark from Browning, but it may be one of the newer S&W Victory models. Either way, the guy who was attacked should be a free man. Now.....yes, he shouldn't have chased the guy, I see that, and I wouldn't do that, but perhaps he wasn't chasing, perhaps he was escaping from that small room where he had been trapped. Can't see what happened off camera. I hope the guy is not found. If he's found, I hope he walks free.

How was the victim supposed to get out of that vestibule? It looks to me he would have needed to use the very door that the perpetrator used. How was the victim to know that the perp wasn't coming back or waiting outside the vestibule? If I were the victim and were found, I would plead temporary PTSD or something. When a perp pulls a gun, it's all over but the crying as far as I am concerned when it comes to what happens to said perp. This perp was life-threatening and violent, lunging for the victim's person and property.

Those of us who live in the rest of Pennsylvania just shake our heads at the goings-on in the City Of Brotherly Love. That was a good, legal shooting. A jury would acquit, in my opinion. (The shooting was black on black. If it had been white on black, I'm not sure the verdict would be the same.)

Joe Biden on Friday spoke with Governors on ‘abortion rights’ and pushed for the senate to nuke the filibuster to ‘codify’ Roe v Wade. This is the second day in a row Joe Biden has viciously attacked the Supreme Court. Joe Biden referred to the Supreme Court as an “extremist court” on Friday. “This tragic reversal of Roe v. Wade, a terrible, extreme decision, upending lives and impacting the health and safety of millions of women. I share the public outrage that this extremist court has committed to moving America backwards with fewer rights,” Biden said.

A judge blocked a Kentucky law which instituted a near total ban on abortion in the state Thursday. The judge’s decision makes Kentucky the third state, after Texas and Louisiana, to have a trigger law blocked following the Supreme Court’s Friday decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Center. After the Supreme Court overturned the 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade, the abortion issue has been returned to the states, allowing many states to reinstate bans previously nullified by Roe.

It’s pretty funny to watch the mainstream media still try to make Joe Biden come across as a serious President and spin his performances with all their fake news narratives to make him look better. But the man isn’t exactly cooperative. 79-year-old Joe Biden has completely lost his way. After drinking water during the latest NATO summit Biden lost himself and invented a new move called “air clap”. He didn’t even hear that the person giving a speech was still talking and tried to clap but reminded us of the move from a few months back when he attempted to shake hands with thin air!

If you’re a Hollywood elite facing the wrath of the diversity mob, a cool $4 million judiciously dispersed can buy you a lot of redemption. Friends creator Marta Kauffman has atoned for the sitcom’s lack of diversity by pledging $4 million to her alma mater, Brandeis University, to establish an endowed professorship in the school’s African and African American studies department. The result: glowing mainstream media coverage and social media feedback. In a mea culpa with the Los Angeles Times, Marta Kauffman prostrated herself before the diversity police, saying she is “embarrassed” by the lack of minority characters in Friends.

Nearly 13 percent of the National Guard has not yet been vaccinated, with that number rising to between 20 and 30 percent in some states. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem on Sunday said her state will prosecute doctors who perform abortions and will work to restrict women’s access to abortion pills. South Dakota is among 10 states with “trigger laws” that declared abortion a criminal offense immediately upon the US Supreme Court’s decision Friday to strike down the 1973 Roe v. Not since the decade leading up to the Civil War has there been as much discussion about the possibility of the United States splitting into two or more countries as there has been in the past 10 years. The reality is that this nation has effectively split into two countries which are, for the moment, tenuously living side-by-side. Race or ethnicity has been the underlying foundation in the creation of every nation in the history of mankind except the United States, as its founding was based on the tenet that all men are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights that government cannot abrogate.
