NPR’s strict masking policy encourages

National Public Radio is encouraging staffers to squeal on each other if they do not comply with the company’s Draconian mask-wearing policy in the office. According to a strongly-worded memo sent out Thursday, NPR employees are not only required to wear masks in the office, but if they see someone who isn’t complying with the mandate, they are encouraged to correct their coworker or rat them out to higher-ups. “If you notice someone who has forgotten their mask, you might tell them, “Hey, you forgot your mask,” the memo said, adding they can also let a superior know so they can “remind” them

Comments:

At Karen Central, you will wear the mask, and you will like it. Heck, they probably all double or triple mask voluntarily anyhow, even when communing alone in their sticker-festooned Subarus.

Masks? When I see somebody wearing a mask now, usually by themselves, outside, on a warm, sunny, day, I look at them with both pity and contempt.

They're all communists so they might as well live as communists. They wear their masks like I wear a crucifix - to show their spiritual identity and allegiance. The difference is I serve God and they serve Satan, and I'll enjoy my Eternal Life accommodations a lot more than they will. I imagine it will be similar to my few experiences when someone else controlled the radio and it was always on NPR.

Ahead of next week's planned end of Title 42, migrants were seen pouring in through the gaps in the U.S.-Mexico border wall and lining up to be taken in for processing in photos taken Thursday. Title 42, the pandemic-era public health rule that restricts immigration, is set to end Monday. As of the beginning of this month, more than 1.9 million people have been expelled under Title 42 since April 2020, most of them under the Biden administration. Border Patrol agents encountered 234,000 unlawful crossings in April, a new record high, and about 41 percent of the encounters ended in a Title 42 expulsion. Some of those crossings
