In what some are calling an epic 'Freudian slip,' former President George W. Bush accidentally called the invasion of Iraq 'wholly unjustified and brutal' while speaking about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Bush made the embarrassing gaffe in a speech at his presidential center in Dallas, where he spoke about the importance of fair elections and slammed Russia's autocratic system.
'The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia, and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq,' Bush said, before shaking his head and correcting himself. 'I mean, of Ukraine.' As the audience fell into awkward silence, Bush muttered

The dyslexic jerk had to prove once again what a jerk he is. The dumbest thing for him to have come up with that he suddenly believes that he has to insert himself into politics!! Duh! Hey dumbo have you come up with an exit strategy from Iraq??? Still working on it, eh? Others were allowed to clean up after him and now we have to endure his 'wisdom'! Crawl back under the rock where you belong Bush.

Was old G.W. Bush drunk at the podium or what?

No sympathy or support from me Dubya. I quit defending you many years ago. Didn’t have the time, I had to bandage and recover from the many knife stabs you put in my back. You lying, back-stabbing, deceitful betrayer. But you kept your standing with the elite class, which was more important to you than being a good president for our country. A pox on you and your household.

Bush was barely recognizable in that video. I had to do a double take.
Seeing him reminded me what a masquerading phony he was, and that "compassionate conservative" was code for "mostly RINO."

I have come to respect retired politicians who don't utter a peep about contemporary issues. Sit in the rocking chair or paint some pictures, but don't try to make yourself relevant a decade after leaving the stage.

Bushes are a giant stain on Texas. I join many of my W TX friends and neighbors in voting Paxton. We pay that Pee’s defeat in the runoff will finally be the end of the Bush political dynasty.
The Bushes have no love for Texas (or the USA) as they stay silent at what Biden, Deep State have done to our state. The fact that a man honored to have been POTUS could be so unpatriotic is disgusting to me.

GW, famous for his capitalism has failed speech, turning over an $800 billion slush fund to Obama, before heading out of office. Many thanks too for the Patriot Act that has allowed the Deep State to prosecute and spy on American citizens. Much of the damage to this country has been done by Republicans, who think they deserve support. Nixon put us on fiat currency that has allowed debt to grow to $30 Trillion, and still growing. Now we have McConnell joining with the Democrats for another $40 billion for Ukraine. Got to love those Republicans. They don't show us much love.

Well, he actually was able to respond since the first Gulf War ended in an Armistice, which is only a stoppage to the war, not an end to the war.
Therefore, he was able to return even without the WMD declaration (which was backed by the US intelligence - we know know how much credence to put into their declarations).

At the time I wasn't opposed to going into Iraq. If you were, you aligned with people like Cindy Sheehan. I was opposed to staying there and letting our troops get picked off a few at a time.
Took me awhile to realize that America stopped trying to actually win wars after 1945.

To think that I supported this buffoon over that Navy vet loser McCain during the primaries. Supported him during the 2000 election against that putz Gore. Supported him as my Commander-in-Chief. Finally I supported him against that other Navy vet loser Kerry. Well no more. After his sucking up to the Obama's who blamed him for everything and staying silent when PDJT and his wife were being savaged daily by the fake news press. The same fake news press that hated him during his 2 terms. GWB richly deserves all of the mocking he gets from here on out.
