Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul on Thursday urged the Supreme Court to use a lie detector to uncover who leaked an explosive draft opinion that suggests the judicial body could overturn federal abortion protections. GOP lawmakers have for weeks demanded consequences for whoever was responsible for leaking the draft to Politico earlier this month. Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed the draft's authenticity on May 3 and vowed to open an investigation into who committed the 'betrayal of the confidences of the court.'

We know it was a leftist, for sure. If it was anyone else they would have already been caught and their career destroyed and be in jail for at least a year before charges are filed.

There's a simpler way: Gather them all together and tell them point blank that they will all be fired and given no recommendations unless they give up the traitor and see if that doesn't smoke him or her out!

My guess is you can eliminate Justices Thomas and Alito from consideration.
After that, start with the CJ and work your way down.

Starting to think that it was a Justice who leaked the info, or at least instructed his/her clerk to do so. Roberts is doing damage control, hence the long "investigation".

It's hard to believe that lie detectors weren't used by any competent investigators on the first day after the leak. It's clear to me that a lot of powerful people want this investigation suppressed.

The reason we can be POSITIVE the SCOTUS leaker is a Conservative is because Conservatives are c-c-c-cowards and would run away and hide where Liberals have c-c-c-courage and would have come forward and admitted their heroic kamikaze-like deed. It becomes increasingly probable that the cover up is under way because the leaker is a justice, probably Sotomayor. During oral argument she asked, "Will this institution [the Supreme Court] survive the stench that this creates in the public perception that the Constitution and its reading are just political acts?"
I believe Sotomayor informed the Obama White House that Obamacare was going to be held constitutional.

They should examine the nine Supreme Court Justices first on the polygraph. If there is no probable positive result out of that limited polygraph testing. At least the Chief Justice can instruct all the clerks and other Supreme Court employees that since the nine Justices sat for polygraph examinations and were cleared by those polygraph examinations, that if they did not leak the Supreme Court draft decision, they should have no problem with sitting for polygraph examinations themselves. Then let’s see who among the clerks and other employees then refuse to sit for polygraph examinations. That should tell you something!

Yeah I posted a week or so ago somewhere asking what’s taking them so long to find the leaker?
I’m guessing they’ve known for awhile who it is planning on people forgetting and in the meantime planning a safe landing for the big mouth.
Who ever it is will probably not face too much punishment, and we’ll all post in rage.

Also it is in Rand Paul’s lane because the Senate is who holds a trial to impeach Supreme Court Justices if articles are a
delivered by the house. My guess is the Republicans will have an opportunity to impeach a justice new year if they get the house and find out if a justice leaked the report.

Thank you #3. This coverup would be humorous if were not so tragic. The Supreme Court with all the expensive personal and property security money can buy AND right in the bastion of imperial judicial experts and they have “no clue” yet. Right. The “investigation’s” only delay is putting all those swampy Ivy League brains together to somehow craft a way to make it all go away.
