New York Governor Kathy Hochul has announced a strict series of gun control regulations, days after a racially motivated shooting in Buffalo that killed ten people.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Hochul said that she would sign several executive orders to restrict access to firearms and monitor “online extremism.”

McLaughlin and Associates, which conducted the poll for the Christian evangelical Summit Ministries in Colorado, found that 90% of likely voters with an opinion on the issue believe gender-altering surgeries should be illegal for children. They were taken to Vyborg, a Russian city on the Finnish border, “as soon as the president of Finland said they were joining NATO,” the unidentified narrator of the clip said.
Two children have been hospitalized in Tennessee after their parents could not find a specific type of formula amid a nationwide shortage. Both children have intestinal disorders that make it difficult for them to absorb nutrients. They were treated at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis after their bodies couldn’t tolerate an alternate type of formula, according to Fox13 Memphis.
One of the children was released Tuesday. Dr. Mark Corkins, a pediatric gastroenterologist who treated the children, told Fox13 he gave them IV fluids and nutrients while they search for the formula, though it is not a long-term solution and he expects more kids will land in hospitals.

The Pennsylvania GOP Senate primary race appears to be headed to a recount as Trump-endorsed celebrity surgeon Mehmet Oz led hedge-fund executive Dave McCormick by roughly 2,000 votes early Wednesday morning, well under the half-percentage-point required to trigger a recount in statewide elections.
In the final stretch of vote tabulation, McCormick had garnered a small edge over Oz until that flipped late Tuesday night. As of Wednesday morning, each candidate had won around 31 percent of the vote with roughly 95 percent of votes counted.
Project Veritas dropped a video from a senior Twitter engineer on Monday that was damning — showing bias and censorship on the platform. The engineer, Siru Murugesan, said that the employees were “super left, left, left, left, left,” “Commie as f**k,” and admitted that they were censoring the right more than the left.

Well, that sent some folks into an apoplectic meltdown; however, it was the truth. We must recognize that the reference "progressive" was just a slick renaming of European communists who sought to export their philosophy of governance, albeit a flawed one, to the United States.
On Friday, the World Swimming Coaches Association (WSCA) released its official position on transgender athletes. This comes after biological male swimmer Will “Lia” Thomas made headlines for competing on the women’s swim team at University of Pennsylvania after competing on the men’s team for three consecutive years. At the NCAA women’s swimming championships in March, Thomas came in first place in a race against female swimmers, as Townhall covered.
The WSCA’s position is that the “grounds of fairness” in swimming cannot be maintained with the inclusion of transgender athletes in women's sports. This was published in a lengthy statement on the organization’s website.
