A white supremacist who gunned down 10 black people at a Buffalo supermarket meticulously planned the massacre in thousands of twisted entries online. Payton Gendron, 18, spent months agonizing over the details of his plan to carry out a mass shooting, according to the daily entries posted the digital message app Discord, which was provided to the Dailymail.com by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation. While wearing military gear, he opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon in the parking lot and inside the Tops Friendly Supermarket in a predominantly black neighborhood of Buffalo, New York, on Saturday afternoon. Brussels—The European Union’s executive arm moved Wednesday to jump-start plans for the 27-nation bloc to abandon Russian energy amid the Kremlin’s war in Ukraine, proposing a nearly 300 billion-euro ($315 billion) package that includes more efficient use of fuels and faster rollout of renewable power. The European Commission’s investment initiative is meant to help the 27 EU countries start weaning themselves off Russian fossil fuels this year. The goal is to deprive Russia, the EU’s main supplier of oil, natural gas and coal, of tens of billions in revenue and strengthen EU climate policies. “We are taking our ambition to yet another level

President Joe Biden was blasted by outraged parents who believe his 'incompetent' administration waited too long to address the nationwide baby formula shortage that has left families scrambling to find ways to feed their infants.Biden, on Wednesday evening, invoked the Defense Production Act to boost baby formula production and issued a directive for planes to bring in supplies from overseas, after growing pressure from Congress. In addition to invoking the Cold War-era law to compel suppliers to direct resources to infant formula manufacturers before any other customer, Biden announced 'Operation Fly Formula.'

One of the most frustrating aspects of the Biden administration — and Lord knows there are a lot of things that infuriate people about them — is the way the U.S. went from a net energy exporter to record high gas prices and a reliance on oil imported from other countries.
The administration knows exactly what it’s doing. The White House has acquiesced to the environmental lobby, and the end game is a push for “green energy” that’s both infeasible and expensive, at least right now. But that hasn’t stopped the drive to punish Americans who haven’t followed the administration’s flippant advice to buy an expensive electric vehicle.

Entrepreneur and business magnate Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, said the "obvious reason" for inflation in the United States is that the federal government printed way too much money that it did not have to stimulate the economy, which increased demand but supply (goods and services) could not keep up -- thus, the prices went up. Speaking at the All-In Summit by video on Monday, Musk said, "The obvious reason for inflation is that the government printed a zillion amount of more money than it had, obviously."

American families are shelling out what amounts to $5,000 per year to put gas in their cars—a painful increase from $2,800 just a year ago, according to a new report. The new study by Yardeni Research shows the ever-increasing financial burden borne by US households in recent months as the price of fuel has reached record levels.
In March, the annual rate of gasoline spending by US households was at $3,800, according to the study. “No wonder that the Consumer Sentiment Index is so depressed. The wonder is that retail sales have been so surprisingly strong during April and May,” Yardeni said in a note.

The follow-up vote on Monday was not on the original agenda of the city council, which had to move their weekly forum to a nearby community center because of how many attended. Seven people spoke at the typically uneventful meeting, where all but one supported the decals.

Over the past few weeks, Democrats seem to be having a revelatory experience, discovering that simply increasing demand through government spending doesn’t work if there are limited products to buy. The supply side of the capitalism equation is essential, and when government layers on excessive regulations, it holds back business and slows the production of goods.
The inability of the Biden administration to both create a constructive environment for producers and a dependable, efficient supply chain to get goods to market has produced the worst inflation in 40 years.
Without supply, all increased demand does is increase prices. This administration needs to focus on fixing the supply side of the economy.

Something is wrong with President Joe Biden, and everyone knows it.
But it would at least be nice if the president knew what he was talking about.
Biden’s handlers came up with a new way to deflect when Joe has one of his “cognitive spells,” he simply fluffs it off with a self-deprecating joke, and the audience awkwardly laughs.
The entire “Alzheimer’s moment” is just laughed off, and brushed aside as if it’s some normal, everyday occurrence.

The goal of tyrants, dictators, and oppressive governments is to gain power and then stay in power. They largely do this by controlling information -- the information available and who has access to it. Information is power, and tyrants use information to gain power. So, for a king or dictator, etc., to gain power and stay in control, they tried to monopolize information. Throughout most of history, that was an easy task because there were few books and few people could read. There were no radios, TV, internet, or libraries. For the vast majority, the Bible, Quran, etc. was the single source of information.

The federal government is preparing for a surge in political violence when the Supreme Court officially rules in June on the abortion case that's expected to overturn Roe v. Wade. A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intelligence memo from May 13 that was obtained by Axios says it expects threats that were levied against Supreme Court Justices, clerks, lawmakers, clergy and health care providers are expected to increase in coming weeks. Two children have been hospitalized in Tennessee after their parents could not find a specific type of formula amid a nationwide shortage. One of the children was released Tuesday. Dr. Mark Corkins, a pediatric gastroenterologist who treated the children, told Fox13 he gave them IV fluids and nutrients while they search for the formula, though it is not a long-term solution and he expects more kids will land in hospitals.

Having pop culture figures defect from one political party or ideology to another isn’t unheard of. We’ve seen other examples, including Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump, and the late Hollywood actor Ron Silver, all of whom were committed liberals before shifting to conservatism. But what we’re seeing in modern America is very different.
In the past year, we’ve seen a noticeable change in the rhetoric from a variety of left and left-of-center public figures. Podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan isn’t just a liberal, he endorsed self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders during the last election cycle.

Dementia sloughs away all the nuances of personality, leaving behind and magnifying, a few core traits. Joe Biden has a documented history of being dumb, self-centered, and mean, so those traits are now worse. Add in his neo-Marxism and the result is someone who goes to Buffalo, where a mentally ill man slaughtered ten innocent people, and Biden, instead of trying to heal wounds, spouted falsehoods and calumnies to score political points. Biden is despicable.
The speech was vintage Biden: squinting at the TelePrompter; weird inflections untethered to the content of his words; clownlike grimaces; and a generally creepy vibe. It’s easier to read the transcript.

Unfortunately, nearly a third of all Americans believe the answer is “no,” the latest monthly I&I/TIPP Poll found, suggesting that the November mid-term congressional elections could be among the most closely scrutinized in recent history.
The May poll asked 1,320 Americans, “Generally speaking, how confident are you that votes will be cast and counted accurately in the November elections?”
Among those responding, 61% said they were either “very confident” (36%) or “somewhat confident” (25%).

Just as Jimmy Carter breathes a sigh of relief that he's no longer America's worst president, Milley, who commanded the disastrous U.S. Afghanistan pullout, is no longer the world's worst general.
That 'honor' now goes to Vlad Putin, who, according to The Guardian, citing U.S. intelligence sources, is the "general" who directly, specifically, brought Russia its biggest military failure in its "special operation" against Ukraine. He was out there playing "colonel," the report said.
It was ugly.

Last September, New York Democrats sought to drive the Republican Party out of existence in the state by taking the term “gerrymander” to unheard-of levels. Currently, the Democrats hold 19 congressional seats to the GOP’s 8. The map drawn by the state legislature was a parody of democracy. It would have eliminated five Republican seats and strengthened the marginal hold on several other seats by Democrats.
Fortunately, the state’s highest court put the kibosh on that hyperpartisan nonsense. “Democratic leaders in the legislature drafted the 2022 congressional redistricting map without any Republican input, and the map was adopted by the Legislature without a single Republican vote in favor of it,”

Back in 2012 at a town hall meeting, a woman asked me if I thought there were socialists in Congress. I replied by stating that there were some 75-80 socialist and communists in the US Congress. Well, that sent some folks into an apoplectic meltdown; however, it was the truth. At that time when one assessed the membership of the Congressional Progressive Caucus that assertion was pretty accurate. We must recognize that the reference "progressive" was just a slick renaming of European communists who sought to export their philosophy of governance, albeit a flawed one, to the United States.

On Friday, the World Swimming Coaches Association (WSCA) released its official position on transgender athletes. This comes after biological male swimmer Will “Lia” Thomas made headlines for competing on the women’s swim team at University of Pennsylvania after competing on the men’s team for three consecutive years. At the NCAA women’s swimming championships in March, Thomas came in first place in a race against female swimmers, as Townhall covered.
The WSCA’s position is that the “grounds of fairness” in swimming cannot be maintained with the inclusion of transgender athletes in women's sports. This was published in a lengthy statement on the organization’s website.

The company at the center of a baby formula crisis could face criminal charges, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday, as Democrats considered new government controls over the baby formula industry. “I think there might be a need for indictment,” said Mrs. Pelosi, who has realigned the House agenda to address a baby formula shortage. Democrats are also considering legislation that would give the federal government more control over the supply and distribution of formula, particularly when shortages arise. The plan would require formula companies to report inventory to the Food and Drug Administration, which could then move supplies from one state to another to fill empty shelves.
