Twenty twenty was a bitter defeat for many of us, and the charges of fraud were not without merit. (snip) For all the illegality, though, I think 2020 is going to be seen as a Pyrrhic victory, with so many of the Democrats' bad ideas catching up with them and as the black and Hispanic base sours on Biden and his party. A wipe-out in 2022 will surprise no one.
To a certain extent, we have been here before. Voters back in the 1980s walked away from the Democrats heralding the Reagan Revolution, and many never looked back. But a lot of party leaders understood their problems

Perhaps, but voters tend to have very short memories.

The leaders of the Demoncrabs are doing it to themselves. And they are too stupid to understand that. Let them hang onto their hero's coattails. Meanwhile he is sunning himself on an island someplace puffing and puffing away.

The article points out a clear cause of the demise of dems. Unions, i.e. lots of workers (= voters), were the backbone of the dems. It assured them lots of money, reliable people to show up at rallies, do work, and VOTE for the party. It also provided organization. It generated automatic voting blocks all over the country without the party having to do anything.
But the unions are a shadow of what they were and there is dissention within unions about political affiliation. The dems haven't so much " lost touch with blue-collar workers" as the reality that blue-collar workers aren't as numerous or organized or reliable dem voters and therefore nowhere near as useful to dems. The unions also anchored the dems to many American values. Those anchors are gone as well. The dems drifted to the Left that was also a part of the party but not previously loud enough or strong enough to be in charge.
The dems have tried to cobble together a coalition of identity groups that seem to represent everyone EXCEPT "Americans". The problem is, the identity groups, at their core, are often antithetical to each other. Instead of a disciplined, blue-collar unity, the dem party is a fractious collection of oil and water molecules all heading in different directions. No wonder they are so broadly ineffective.
The only thing that has kept the dems in play is the long time party loyalty and laziness of the typical American voter. Many just pull the "dem" or "Republican" levers when they vote and don't give it too much further thought. However, the gross incompetence of the dems is fracturing that loyalty and their is NO organizational gravity to pull them back together. If the de facto dems of the media and Deep State bureaucrats had not been working feverishly to hold the dems together, they would have shattered a long time ago. Now, the media is shattering with them and the Deep State is exposed and thereby threatened.
The final straws are when true Conservative leaders like Trump, DeSantis, and others step up to demolish liberals. The dems haven't and won't go peacefully but they are going.

Too many voters have political affiliation to a party because Dad supported that party. These people need to wake up and realize that Dad would not support the Dim party as it now exists.

In the next election (NOV) 2 things will happen either 1) biden will declare a "national emergency" and instate Martial Law so there will be no election or 2) he will say "citizens" should vote but "residents" should get to vote too. Thereby letting all the new millions of illegals to vote. He will give them money from the taxpayers to bribe them and they will dutifully vote dem in return. And, of course, repubs will do nothing as they usually do and dems will win forever. Or we can get out and watch every poll site, day and night, during the counting and watch every drop box. Take video. If the box is outside it is public and no one can stop you from videoing in public.

The Democrats were set to lose the 2020 election too. But they had a weapon up their sleeve - vote fraud through mail in, harvesting and a corrupt judiciary to back it up. That weapon must be neutralized otherwise this coming election will be the last one in our lifetimes!

You fall for a fallacy that there can only be one way an election is stolen. The fact that illegitimate ballots were stuffed into drop boxes does not mean computerized voting machinery was not also hacked. In fact, in many precincts these fraudulent actions were likely used in concert. As drop box totals could easily exceed the total registered voter count in a single precinct, the hacking of many machines was probably used to redistribute the ballot counts out to different precincts. The grand theft of the 2020 election was accomplished through a combination of every single fraud mechanism available to the Democrats. Mail-in ballot fraud, drop box stuffing, ballot harvesting in rest homes, multiple counting of ballots after the vote station is closed, hacking of machines through the internet, biased news reporting, censoring of information in social media. Every one of these and probably more were used. The serious question is will this be allowed to continue! Can we ever again have a true vote?

I think the GOP ought to start a program aimed at illegal aliens. It should say, "if and when you vote, legally or illegally as it may be, consider which party's policies are more like the hellhole you were so desperate to escape."

One of the most interesting essays that I have read in some time. If you only read one full article today, this should be it - and the linked articles in it, too.
FTA:
"The modern Democrat party, led by Joe Biden, has become nothing but a Potemkin façade, with no real organic constituency. It doesn't even matter to them if the Democrats lose a lot of elections from here on out. Their massive endowments keep paying the bills for their luxury lifestyle. The Democrat party is just a flashy "loss leader."
And he points to several interesting other articles which are also worth the time spent, I think.
He's a very interesting one:

The bottom line of this linked article is that in 2020 the Senate is probably going to have 46 or 47 Dems, but by 2024, there will be between 39 and 42 Dem Senators. Let's hope that this prediction is accurate.
