Elon Musk is planning to fire 1,000 staffers at Twitter as soon as his purchase of the social media platform is complete. It's believed he will fire many of the firm's woke staff following the transfer of ownership which will take around six months, after which Musk is likely to wield the ax. But then within the next three years, Musk anticipates making thousands of new hires, swelling the ranks to around 11,000 employees, up from 7,500 currently.Much of the new talent is likely to be in the field of engineering.

Sounds like he knows what he's doing. I'd start the firing with the crybabies who couldn't understand why he bought Twitter.

Well, it will be interesting to see how this goes. Free speech is a frightening concept to the leftist thug class. Let's hope that it works out well.

Time for another day off at Twitter so current employees can cry in a safe space.

HR will prevent Musk from firing the ones who need to be fired the most. He can expect sabotage until they break mentally. My concern is what Twitter becomes. The richest man in the world still has to compete with the other wannabe oligarchs like Bezos, Gates, and the others who want to rule the world. Side note: Bill Gates needs to fix his trash Microsoft before he tries feeding the world that fake beef he's buying up all that farm land to create. When you want to be God, He has a tendency to make you look like an absolute fool.

Never underestimate Elon Musk. That's the advice that the current Twitter staff never understood. Enjoy the perks while you can Twitter staff. Sayonara.

Perhaps he’ll be able to create a culture of integrity and professionalism and discard the current culture of hatred corruption.

One of the very first things he should do is to move the entire company out of that liberal hell hole to Florida or Texas; that would weed out a good number of undesirables with one quick decision.

I saw this on Twitter a few minutes ago: Twitter employees are now seeing the other side when Biden shut down Keystone, “Just go find another job!” Payback is sometimes sweet…

Sounds like a model for Trump if he gets back in the WH. Given an enema to the top 10 layers of DOJ, FBI, DOE, Kill the EPA. Imagine the savings.

Find out who were the worst malfactors, and sue them for damaging the value of the company before he bought it.

Hey Elon! Bring the company to Tennessee! No state tax, a red state, and friendly people who actually like to work! What’s not to like? Oh—you would have to jettison the crybabies first. They wouldn’t last long anyway. Too much freedom here.

This is what happens when a businessman knows what he's doing...not political hires who know nothing about business...it's heartwarming to hear his plans for twitter...now let's hope the gooberment doesn't throw tantrums and send snowflakes to his home to intimidate ...especially the information czar that King Barrack hired to control the conversation...

When he fires all the 'safe space dwellers' don't give them golden parachutes or severance pay give them with crayons and coloring books to sit in a corner to cry over the cushy good paying job they just lost. The price of being too 'woke' denying freedom of speech of others. To use the democrat term, 'enjoy the suck'.

It is nice to see an entrepreneur that creates value takeover, as opposed to the current political activists that destroy value.

$3 per month?! Way too much for twitter! If he charged $9.95 per year he would get ten times as many subscribers.
As an aside comment: Every web page seems to want somewhere between $70 and $100 per year.
If I paid that fee for all the web pages I frequent I would be paying about $2000 per year.
Either they need to charge $20 per year or else have a group fee where one fee is paid and that
delivers commercial free access to all the conservative web pages.

I humbly suggest:
"Twitter shall not restrict any speech, remove any content, de-platform any user when an objectively reasonable person would not find the affected material to be obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, excessively violent, harassing, or unlawful."
