Gee, arresting a bunch of these thugs would be an excellent outcome. Of course....no charges will be filed, and the arrests will be erased by the Cooperating Attorney....previously known as a prosecutor.

I'm sure that the justices that live in Virginia live in Fairfax or Loudon counties, both now populated largely by extreme leftists. I lived in Fairfax county many years ago, when it was still a nice, sane place. Now - I doubt that local police and prosecutors will do anything helpful to the justices. But, the new governor may send in some Virgina State Police to protect the justices. I think the state AG would be happy to send them to Goochland for a "vacation".

The protesters don’t care. Nothing will happen to them. Abortion in the USA will still occur legally without Roe vs. Wade. But it won’t be as unfettered as it currently is. This is about more than women and their bodies or their babies. It is about the a general meanness against what is good and beautiful—life itself.

One of the downsides to censorship — even the well meaning kind — is it throttles the ‘reality signal’. The world, as experienced directly, expresses itself in a bewildering fashion, containing both signal and noise and often incomplete information about what we are trying to observe. The viewer is frequently unsure what he witnessing and puts forward a series of hypotheses to explain and predict what transpires. And often he is wrong. Doubtless it would be more convenient for some if reality could be filtered before it was perceived. That way the recipients of the signal would never be confused.
