Check the 2 page 'advisory' allegedly put out by Home Depot. Guess I'm done, Loews is only across the street unless they become woke too. Be nice if everyone slams the HD home customer contact page and demands a response.

I wonder if Home Depot did this or some puke in a local Canadian store? If they don't fire the manager of the store, or whoever put that out, quickly, then corporate approves and I'll never bother them with my spending again. Lowe's is nearby.

The 'advisory' is using Canadian English so I'll assume it's a local thing, either from a woke employee or management. HD corporate better stamp out this fire, quick.

It is past time to clean house in corporate HR departments. HR people are social workers who wanted to make more money, nothing more. They drink the same water as all of the other social science losers in today's universities. The only problem is that they wield tremendous power through government regulation and federal code.

If you are a politician in Tennesee that gets caught red-handed stealing $600,000, don't have to pay it back, and gets sentenced to one year of PROBATION... You got some serious Black/Female/Democrat Privilege. Odd that none of that Privilege makes the list.

More accurately, customers of ten airlines have grown fed up with mandated mask wearing for hours on end. Their CEOs have published an open letter to Joe Biden asking him to end the mandate for air travel as well as any “predeparture testing requirements.” These “no longer make sense in the current public health context.” The letter comes after Biden pledged to veto any congressional action lifting the mandates:/tweet/ In a letter to President Joe Biden, Airlines for America, a trade group, wrote: “The high level of immunity in the U.S., availability of high-quality masks for those who wish to use them, hospital-grade cabin air, widespread vaccine availability and newly available

The Los Angeles Police Department has a message for the denizens of Tinseltown and the rest of the City of Angels. When you go out and about, you should probably avoid wearing any sort of flashy, expensive jewelry or other expensive possessions. Why would they say that? Because thieves have continued to become more and more brazen about pulling a weapon on pedestrians or motorists and robbing them of their belongings. And displays of wealth will just make you more of a target for these types of crimes. At the same time, gangs are also stepping up attacks on jewelry stores and other outlets selling expensive

Give up your car and start walking. That’s an order. The International Energy Agency (IEA) on Friday directed global governments to urgently cut oil supply to domestic consumers and encourage compliance with its call for lowered consumption. The IEA 10-point plan to drive “changes in the behaviour of consumers” and reduce gas demand at the pump includes reducing speed limits, working from home three days a week, more electric cars, car-free Sundays, more cycle lanes, cheaper public transport and greater use of long-distance trains over planes. The IEA also called on the OPEC+ group of oil-producing nations led by Saudi Arabia

“All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others,” George Orwell wrote in “Animal Farm”. That quote comes to mind often when we talk about COVID-19 mandates and enforcement by various authorities. In a liberal haven like Hollywood, you’d think that a blatant show of COVID-19 mandate hypocrisy would be avoided in order to avoid the publicity yet you would be mistaken. There is a distinction made between performers and presenters at this year’s Oscars ceremony versus award nominees and guests attending the ceremony. The logic escapes me here. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided that the coronavirus safety

The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) warned Friday the global coronavirus pandemic isn’t over until it says so, cautioning too many countries are moving too quickly in lifting public health and social restrictions. The globalist organisation used social media to warn countries that lift restrictions to adopt a slower approach to the pandemic and follow W.H.O. directions, even as global infection rates continue to tumble. W.H.O. medical authorities Mark Ryan and Maria Van Kerkhove explained the desire to return to normal was ill-advised and may sustain the pandemic, with potentially catastrophic outcomes.

We'll get to the CDC changes in a moment. First, we are just beginning to quantify the ongoing damage done by COVID, as well as the harm inflicted by related lockdowns and restrictions. Children and students were particularly hard-hit by the latter phenomenon, as they were overwhelmingly safe from severe outcomes from Coronavirus infections – yet had their learning, development and overall wellbeing aggressively stunted by terrible government policies in many parts of the country. We also know that drug overdoses surged overall, and youth suicide attempts increased, during this stressful period featuring a great deal of social isolation.
