Give up your car and start walking. That’s an order. The International Energy Agency (IEA) on Friday directed global governments to urgently cut oil supply to domestic consumers and encourage compliance with its call for lowered consumption.
The IEA 10-point plan to drive “changes in the behaviour of consumers” and reduce gas demand at the pump includes reducing speed limits, working from home three days a week, more electric cars, car-free Sundays, more cycle lanes, cheaper public transport and greater use of long-distance trains over planes.
The IEA also called on the OPEC+ group of oil-producing nations led by Saudi Arabia

Let's have the IEA show us how to do it first. If they can do it for a month then I'll be more than happy to go by their system. And what happens when they can't generate enough electricity for all those electric cars? Thank you Admiral Rodgers. (something he did about 8 years ago that will finally stoq this nonsense)

"car-free Sundays"
Going to church then getting groceries appears to be out of the question.

The IEA needs to lead by example by requiring every one of its leaders and staff to give up their automobiles, air travel, home heating, and air conditioning. Until then, these bureaucratic harridans can pound sand.

We have got to be smart because this is serious. These people (IEA) are playing for keeps. They are calling for an understanding that we have to do with less while they’re are dumping millions of illegals in our midst who have come here expecting to live large. The perpetrators think they can nudge us into compliance, bit by bit, and ultimately we’ll be perfectly happy to be poor and dependent while they are setting the country up to be poor and third world. It is evident that white people are in the crosshairs. I hope I’m wrong but there seems to be an appetite for our enslavement.

Well, it's a good thing I learned how to saddle a horse and ride. I've got enough backyard pasture to support one or two head but need to clear out some stuff in the garage to make room for stalls and tack space.
FIEA and FJB!

I work 27 miles from my home. This ain't gonna happen for me and I'm not giving up my internal combustion engine before somebody buys me a Tesla, tax free. If I can't afford $7.00 a gallon for gas how am I going to afford a $100,000 electric vehicle that takes two weeks to recharge and dies after 50 miles in 50F weather?

This is another "15 days to flatten the curve" scam that will last forever.
They want to dump your cars, ban your travel, control your movement and consumption, and turn you into another faceless drone of the State.
Green energy clearly WON'T WORK as a viable socioeconomic model FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 30-50 YEARS without mass depopulation, downgraded prosperity, general social stagnation, and total authoritarian rule... but the current crop of decision-makers have neither the knowledge nor sense to understand that, and those who do know have neither the guts nor integrity to tell them so.
The Greens will flush civilization down the toilet to suit their ideology, then blame everyone else for "not doing it right."
F the following, in no particular order: JB, NP, AOC, RINO'S and Progs in general.

This is just more of the 30 by 30 plan that calls for 30 percent more land to be taken away from citizens and more people to move to the city. Less land ownership, more condensed citizens means a much more easily controlled citizenry. Probably part of the Great Reset as well.

Luddites: Wikipedia: (T)he term has come to mean one opposed to industrialization, automation, computerization, or new technologies in general. The Luddite movement began in Nottingham in England and culminated in a region-wide rebellion that lasted from 1811 to 1816.[6] Mill and factory owners took to shooting protesters and eventually the movement was suppressed with legal and military force.

How many divisions does the IEA have?
If you want my car,
you'll have to get up off your comfy chair,
leave you cushy office and coffee machine,
come out and try to take it.
Bring money, guns, and lawyers...
You'll need them all

Nothing I can add to this that we don't already know. Biden has a new crisis to use to his advantage. Gretta Sourface and Al Gore must be dreaming about this.
