President Joe Biden on Saturday compared Poland's taking in more than 2 million Ukraine refugees to the migrant situation on the Southern border of the U.S. The odd comparision came as Biden was thanking Polish President Andrzej Duda for his country's response to the humanitarian crisis and pledging U.S. financial aid.
'We do acknowledge Poland has taken on a lot with all of the responsibility,' Biden said. 'The fact that you have so many Ukrainians seeking refuge in this country of Poland. We understand that because we have, at our southern border, thousands of people per day literally, not figuratively, trying to get into the United States,' he said.

The gunman who shot a 3-year-old girl walking with her father in Brooklyn was aiming at another dad and child when the innocent toddler took a bullet to the shoulder, cops said Saturday.
The revelation comes as cops released surveillance images of the gunman in the hopes that someone recognizes him. The triggerman was aiming at a 28-year-old man putting his 2-year-old son into a car on Riverdale Ave. near Amboy St. in Brownsville when he opened fire at 6 p.m. Friday, cops said. He completely missed his target, but one bullet went wild and hit a 3-year-old girl leaving the Creative

Minneapolis—Federal prosecutors are dropping their appeal of a judge's decision to overturn the death sentence for a Minnesota man convicted in the 2003 kidnapping and killing of Dru Sjodin, but they said they still intend to seek the death penalty when he is resentenced. In a court filing Friday, prosecutors and defense attorneys for Alfonso Rodriguez Jr. voluntarily agreed to dismiss the appeal. Interim U.S. Attorney Nicholas Chase told The Associated Press that the case will now be set for a resentencing, as the judge ordered, and "we are still seeking the death penalty."(Snip)Authorities said Rodriguez, a convicted sex offender, kidnapped Sjodin from the parking lot

An 18-year-old Maine man and two other teens, one in Chicago and another in Kentucky, conspired to attack a Chicago mosque with homemade explosives this month, new court documents reveal—until the FBI unraveled the plot. The teens, agents said, concocted a scheme to massacre worshippers at the Shia mosque in the name of ISIS.
The recently unsealed federal filing alleges that Xavier Pelkey of Waterville and two teens, who were not named in court papers because they are juveniles, communicated through Instagram and other platforms to plot the attack.(Snip)However, it was foiled by federal investigators last month after a search of Pelkey's apartment turned up three

The Muslim call to prayer will soon be heard regularly in parts of Minneapolis. Minneapolis mosques can now publicly broadcast the adhan, or call to prayer, over loudspeakers without acquiring a permit and so long as they abide by the city's amplified noise ordinance. Arabic words like "Allahu akbar," which means "God is great," will be heard ringing out from mosques around the city.
Minneapolis City Council Member Jamal Osman announced this week that mosques will be allowed to play the adhan several times between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily and all year round. The City Council unanimously supported the broadcasts

U.S. President Biden and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a deal Friday to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian oil and gas. As part of the plan, the European Union and the U.S. will form a joint task force aimed at weaning Europe off Russian energy and finding alternatives to liquified natural gas (LNG). The U.S. will also supply Europe with at least 15 billion cubic meters of liquified natural gas. In addition, the task force will work toward reducing green gas emissions by paring down methane emissions and using clean energy. The task force will be co-chaired by a representative of the White House

Everyone has jobs and no one is happy because prices are rising so sharply. U.S. consumer sentiment fell in March to the lowest since 2011 despite the level of jobless claims declining to the lowest level in decades and unemployment likely sinking to multi-decade lows. The University of Michigan’s sentiment index dropped to 59.4, from 62.8 in February, data released Friday showed. This was lower than the mid-month read of 59.7. Economists had projected no further deterioration from the mid-month reading. “Inflation has been the primary cause of rising pessimism, with an expected year-ahead inflation rate at 5.4 percent, the highest since November 1981,”

The Orlando Pride apologized after a supporters’ group was told it could not display a banner that used the word “gay” at a match this weekend. The Black Swans group’s banner was in reference to Florida’s recent legislation dubbed by critics as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The supporters’ group said on Twitter that their sign was deemed to be political and removed. In the fallout, the front office for the National Women’s Soccer League team said it would meet with the group to find out what happened.(Snip)The Pride have long championed LGBTQ+ rights, and there are 49 rainbow-colored seats at their home stadium to honor those killed

A Michigan city school board president was removed from her post after brutally attacking the board's Treasurer by slamming her head on a table and choking her at a meeting. Flint Community School Board President Danielle Green was relieved of her duties after she allegedly attacked Treasurer Laura McIntyre at the Finance Committee meeting at 10am Wednesday. Superintendent Kevelin Jones told M Live that the pair got into a disagreement over building new schools.
At an emergency meeting later that day where Green was removed, McIntyre, sporting two black eyes, said there was 'no fight' leading up to the attack and the 'only person fighting' was Green.
Comments:
The new law forbids sexualizing of children, which the LGBTQ-pedo crowd sees as a personal attack. That tells the story right there; they want very badly to share their lifestyle with toddlers. Everything under the sun revolves around their sexuality, and as with vegans, you'll hear all about within the first 2 minutes of speaking with them. But aren't the Gay Seats in the stadium anti-Islamic, seeing how the Pulse nightclub massacre was done by a jihadi as required by his faith? And isn't gay women's soccer redundant?
