A Big ‘No’ On Ketanji Brown Jackson

Original Article

Posted By: RockyTCB, 3/24/2022 7:38:03 AM

We’ve now listened to three days of a scheduled full week of testimony by Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. And to be honest, we’ve heard enough. Anyone who truly cares about the Constitution and the rule of law should reject Jackson. Jackson has a winning smile and pleasant demeanor. Those are nice personal traits, but not ones that necessarily elevate you to the Supreme Court. Still, she’s also a Harvard Law grad, clerked for Justice Steven Breyer, worked as a public defender, served on the U.S. District Court

If the judge doesn't know what a woman is, why is it important to have an undefinable on the USSC? Does the judge know what a POC is? If she can't answer these questions, how can she "support, protect, and defend" the bizarro world civil rights constitution against the original?

A winning smile and pleasant demeanor qualifies her to be a hostess at an Applebee's. Her duplicitous performance, and her outrageous past rulings disqualify her....if this were anything but a pro forma Kabuki exercise. But she has educated us that: given the critical issues of the day, the next SCOTUS justice must be, MUST BE, a biologist. So she's out.

It doesn't matter if she is qualified, knows the Constitution or has had shot someone on the Courthouse steps. She WILL be the next Supreme Court Justice. She has the Votes and that is all there is to it! I haven't watched any of the Dog and Pony Show because it's a waste of time. SHE will be confirmed! Add her to the rest of the Democrat Justices who always vote with their Party no matter what comes before them!

I took in a couple of hours of Jackson's confirmation hearing. She played "hide the sausage" a little bit too much with the Senators. Less than transparent and unprepared on several fronts. I don't think she will be confirmed. Sens. Manchin and Sinema, your thoughts on the matter? Or unless the rinos like Pierre Delecto, Collins, and Murko cave, that is.

And although the Left/DNC claims she is just replacing another liberal justice - Breyer. She is not. She is 110% hardcore Lefty whereas Breyer would sometimes vote with the Conservative justices, i.e., in support of the Constitution. Her damage to this country will be long term.

the thing about communists is, they are most endearing when they want something but are ruthless, cruel and rapacious when they get it and have the control ie: our best example is the Congress of the United States, both houses, but especially the demcommies, ruthless, cunning and vicious once they gain the advantage of plurality and power to defeat and demolish their opponent(s) which they have no qualm in perpetuating their drive to destroy our country

After a while, being called a racist loses its meaning and the social stigma that goes along with it. Those that don't want her as a Supreme Court justice have heard her answers to questions and know her past legal record. Those that want her on the court, haven't heard anything and don't care. I'm more concerned that Biteme might get to pick another justice. With Roberts being a sure vote for being against whatever is in the Constitution, and the stick the wet finger in the wind to see which way the wind is blowing Kavanaugh. One more pick for the socialists gives them a green light to pass whatever they want.

I just read Ketanji Jackson's article on sex offender crime and/or punishment published in the Harvard Law Review, the one under scrutiny in her confirmation hearings. When you clear out the hocus pocus, she asserts that a judge cannot be bound by legislative intent. Mainly, because legislators (and by extension the public) are all secret bigots looking to extract retribution. This makes her the classic, left-wing activist judge. She does not deserve to sit in judgement over a nation and a people she holds in contempt.

As I understand it, before the senate votes on her, the judicial committee must vote and she must win that vote to advance to the full senate. The committee vote requires a quorum. If the Republicans on the committee don’t show up for the vote, there is no quorum and the result is that TaliBiden must name someone else. The only way to stop the whole travesty is for the Republicans to man up and do the right thing. If only they had the cojones.

If one listens closely enough, one hears the feint but steady hum of envy buzzing through American society. The envy is directed toward Ukraine, a country being pummeled by Russian tanks and missiles. A country where children, the elderly and the sick are being targeted with bombs. And yet, it is also a country bravely standing up to one of the largest and best-equipped militaries on earth. This courage, this love of home and country, this willingness to sacrifice life and fortune – this is the subject of American envy. The first line in President Joe Biden’s budget statement, released Monday, is “Budgets are statements of values, and the budget I am releasing today sends a clear message.” Biden’s right that his $5.8 trillion budget sends a clear message. The message is that he will say and do anything, no matter how disconnected from reality it is. The rest of his statement is itself full of lies and half-truths. For example, Biden brags that he’s cut the deficit in half in his first year, making it “the largest one-year reduction in the deficit in U.S. history.” That’s technically true but

A pair of principles that drive the political left – never letting a crisis go to waste, and using prior acts of government-imposed restraints to gradually but methodically steal liberty – is taking the U.S. down a path that, if traveled too far, goes in only one direction. We trust that Western nation voters will reverse the trend before it’s too late. But first they have to recognize how the country is being manipulated. If government authorities can shut down an economy and rob Americans of their freedom with lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates over a virus, then they can, and will, do the same for a crisis,

The professor points out a peculiarity: It is June 28, 1776. The Continental Congress orders that Thomas Jefferson’s draft of the Declaration of Independence “lie on the table.” … Jefferson, who enslaves hundreds of people, nonetheless includes an assertion that “all men are created equal.” Moving forward to fugitive slaves: It is September 18, 1850.
