In a world where nearly every media outlet is sponsored by the corrupt pharmaceutical industry and acts as an arm of the Democrat party, news sources that the public can trust are far and few between. The Drudge Report was once a trusted source for conservatives. Those days are long gone. The Drudge Report has become another echo chamber for the left. (Snip)Joseph Curl, a former editor of the Drudge Report who ran the publication when it still garnered millions of views a month, and Washington Examiner reporter Paul Bedard have launched a new news aggregation site.

Semi trucks have the same problem. Really do people not think of these things? It’s kinda of silly to fill up though. You’re just hauling extra weight around. We just buy what we need for a load.

#4 as a fellow news junkie, I can tell you, I especially cover the comments after the most newsworthy articles. When unfettered by gestapo monitors, the comments are a snapshot of what America is feeling. One must weed through a lot of blather and snark, but there are those who ask important questions or offer valuable insights so often overlooked by the journalists generating the articles. Luci has a fantastic collection of such individuals! Hat tips & cheers to all a y'all! ;-) You are my ongoing education!

Why do we need a “news aggregator”? I once used Drudge when I was new to the internet. And he was sort of conservative. I found Lucianne via his list. Never looked back. Most of us know where the reliable news is covered. And our own filters tell us when somethhing is not reliable. Here the posters themselves are the reporter/aggregators. We have more drivebys now, but that is slopover from sites where they hang out. There were some really learned, pithy LDotter commenters in the past - they read the articles and shared their knowledge and opinions. A few old timers remain and some of the new do a pretty good job.

Looking forward to reading this new website. What finger.com is a website we really like. Can check out news from many sources. We all need to have websites that print truth. TV is providing a few sources now. The socialist communists have really overwhelmed our country in a well organized plan. Where our elected representatives all sleeping? We need to help the few who are trying to save our country.

At the start of the third day of Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson's Senate Judiciary Committee hearings Wednesday, a pair of GOP members complained that Democratic Chairman Dick Durbin is "editorializing" between Republican talking points. The complaints began with Texas Sen. John Cornyn after Durbin claimed Jackson's hearings have become a "testing ground for conspiracy theories" against President Joe Biden's high court nominee, who is tapped to succeed Justice Stephen Breyer and would become the first black woman on the Supreme Court if confirmed by the Senate.

This yacht makes a Bond villain’s boat look like a dinghy.Vladimir Putin, whose forces continue to attack Ukraine, spared no expense on his alleged $700 million superyacht, which comes complete with its own dance floor — and even golden toilet paper holders. Rumors that the boat belonged to him have been swirling since its construction; however, anti-Kremlin activists recently claimed that it is indeed Putin’s.“It’s like a mini city,” an unnamed worker reportedly involved in its construction told the Sun of the 495-foot luxury vessel, which is moored in Marina di Carrara in Italy. “There are countless swimming pools, a spa, a sauna, a theatre, ballrooms, a gym, two helipads.”

Republicans were down a touchdown with one play left and half the field to go in Wisconsin regarding redistricting for the state legislature, but thanks to a shocker of a decision from the Supreme Court, overtime has just been forced. Previously, Wisconsin’s highest court had decided to use maps drawn by the Democrat governor after a months-long battle with Republican lawmakers. In doing so, the process hurdled past several legal issues that the Supreme Court decided were improperly ignored. Yet, the bigger story here isn’t actually about Wisconsin, and we’ll get to that in a moment. As expected, the wailing and gnashing of teeth began immediately.

Lawmakers are staying busy to make sure abortion on demand is the law of state as the United States Supreme Court revisits Roe v. Wade, including in California where women will be able to abort their unborn child for free.“With this legislation, we’ll help ensure equitable, affordable access to abortion services so that out-of-pocket costs don’t stand in the way of receiving care,” California Governor Gavin Newsom said in a statement. Senate Bill 245, named the Abortion Accessibility Act, prohibits insurance companies from charging a deductible, co-pay, or deductible for the procedure, which in California is available until “fetus viability.”
