Bill Maher thinks California could very well turn red if certain things don’t turn around.
On “The Adam Carolla Show” Tuesday, Maher contributed his opinion on the future of the state.
Around 33 minutes into the show, host Adam Carolla broached Maher’s “solar panel saga,” which Maher chronicled on his HBO show in 2021. Maher and Carolla went on to discuss rules and policies that restrict California natives, as well as issues that demand solving.

California has become a toilet that will require some sane patriots to flush. No party should be allowed to to have total control. The Dems need to be treated like a monopoly and broken up. Their leaders should all be tried under the Rico act and a serious examination of all expenditures should be undertaken to determine and expunge waste and graft. This is all beyond insane.

Commifornia has junk mail balloting and ballot harvesting, so it will remain reliably Democrat forever.

Two things:
The paralysis described is, not accidentally, the lethal Trojan Horse behind the cute neologism, "stakeholder capitalism." Stakeholder capitalism gives authority to anyone and everyone who conceivably is affected, now or at some distant, imagined time in the future.
Second, I rather doubt CA will turn red because conservatives are fleeing the state, leaving only the blue ninnies behind. Same is true in NY.

Those who count the votes will win. Don’t worry Bill, California will stay solidly blue until the lower level Communists are booted out.

Actually all 50 states are probably Red. Some have just been more expert at election fraud than others for decades.

I spat my coffee!
Absolutely nothing will turn this state red in any conceivable near future. Certainly not in the next several decades.
Even if we had clean elections without ballot harvesting/theft, etc, leftists are blindly stupid sheep who always vote the same way for the same people no matter what. When it gets bad, like a virus that is killing their host, they move on and bring their toxic stupidity with them. They ate incapable of recognizing or acknowledging their votes are what turned an otherwise beautiful state into an unlivable cesspool.
I am leaving in a few months and taking my red vote with me. The sheep can have what little is left here. I won't miss it one bit.

Oh they will ease up on the tyranny right before the election, because they know their people are idiots and have a 10 day attention span.

If you can't get solar heating to work in California you are pretty much a pathetic loser. I realize it's democrat involvement that creates all of the stupidity but somehow, somewhere, there is a hand out for a fee or a bribe. Schweizer's expose of Mayor Garcetti of LA explains it all. Nowhere else in the country does a state require special vehicles, lawn mowers, spark arresters on anything that gets warm, safety stickers, etc. Many government "workers" out there retire at a $200K plus pension. They are ridiculous.

Not so sure. How many people in California are content being wards of the state? It might be a majority. People love free money. Democrats know how to hold a state if they have managed to hold it for a long time. New York is the same. Add in election fraud, and these states are solidly locked into the Democrat column.

Powerful, centralized government (as with socialism) leads to an ever-expanding bureaucracy which stifles efficiency, creativity, and freedom until the economy grinds to a crawl and the society falls into corruption and dissolution. Thanks, Democrats.

So, as those who don’t know any better like to say, “they deserve it”. Tell us how to fight this? And look at the number of California Republicans who don’t vote Dem. They don’t deserve it.

Let's hear it from California. That border wall should be built on the eastern border of that state.

In what perfect states do the California critics - some of that stuff is pretty harsh - live? Hiding behind their anonymity? How come?

There's no way CA goes red. Mail in ballots to and motor voter for illegals and a huge number of unionized state employees will see to it.
