President Donald Trump has withdrawn his endorsement of Congressman Mo Brooks, who is running for U.S. Senate in Alabama. "Mo Brooks of Alabama made a horrible mistake recently when he went 'woke' and stated, referring to the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, 'Put that behind you, put that behind you,' despite the fact that the Election was rife with fraud and irregularities. If we forget, the Radical Left Democrats will continue to Cheat and Steal Elections. Just look at what is happening in Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and elsewhere, but tremendous progress has been made that will help us in 2022 and 2024. Mo is my representative. On Jan. 2 I wrote him the following letter: Dear Congressman Brooks, I am writing to voice my concern about your lack of interest in and action for the January 6 political prisoners. I first met you at a Tea Party event prior to your election to the House. At the time I believed that we shared a similar passion for Constitutional Governance and have since voted for you in every election. What is happening to the January 6 political prisoners is one of the greatest injustices done against our Constitution in the history of our nation. Your silence on this matter is truly deafening. If you will not expend political capital on this cause, I seriously doubt that you will fight for anything. I have for some time now been receiving texts from your campaign seeking donations for you Senate bid. Ten years is a long time to be absorbed into the cesspool of DC politics and your failure to use your current office to fight for justice gives me no confidence that you are worthy of higher office. I hope that you will actually read this message and take it as a challenge to advocate for the Constitutional rights of the January 6 political prisoners. If you won’t fight for them, then you wont fight for me, other Alabamians or other US citizens no matter what office you may hold. Please give me a reason to support you again. Sincerely... On Feb 15, I finally received the following reply: Dear Mr. ..., As an overview comment, Government censors forced on Congressmen by “the powers that be” do not allow me to freely express my thoughts, so please understand that my reply to your communication may be watered down, pacified, and more generic and less specific than either you or I may desire. With that in mind, thank you for contacting me with your thoughts and views. I appreciate your engagement in the democratic process and am honored to serve as your Congressman from the Fifth District of Alabama. Serving as a member of two Congressional committees which are key to our district—House Armed Services and Science, Space and Technology, gives me the forum to better address the issues affecting you. Our continued communication is vital to my job representing your views in Congress. Please continue to feel free to contact me in the future regarding issues of importance to you. You may wish to visit my website at http://brooks.house.gov/ for additional information about issues and legislation. Sincerely, Rep. Mo Brooks I have been scratching my head ever since. I do not know who I will vote for.

President Joe Biden repeated the infamous “very fine people hoax” on Thursday evening in Brussels, Belgium, falsely claiming that his predecessor praised neo-Nazis who rioted in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017.The president was speaking at a press conference to close the NATO summit on Ukraine. A European reporter asked the president how he could be sure that his successor in 2024 would not undo his diplomatic approach to NATO. (President Trump irked European powers by demanding that they live up to their NATO commitment of spending at least 2% of gross domestic product on defense. Germany belatedly agreed, finally, to meet its commitment only after Russia had invaded Ukraine.)
