Once again, HBO host Bill Maher stands in a curious spot — in opposition to his own team.
During Real Time’s March 11th installment, the longtime Democrat brought up Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
Critics have had lots to say…or maybe just one thing:
But the Donkey Party’s characterization of the measure is of the mythomaniacal sort.
As indicated by ABC News, the bill orders that lessons on sexual identity or sexual preference “may not occur in kindergarten through grade three or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

It has nothing to do with gay. The Florida bill restricts teaching sexual material to five through eight year olds.

Let's talk about the role of Jen Psaki in the Biden White House.
I don't recall any presidential press secretary offering his or her opinions on policy matters, prior to Psaki.
The role of the press secretary is to provide information about the president, his schedule, policy aspirations, clarification about what the president did or said.
Psaki is doing things the president should be doing. Why should she be offering an opinion on a Florida law about school course content???
Who cares what her opinion is?

Our schools have been such a failure at teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. Why would anyone (besides a pedophile) want them to teach sexuality?

Maher may be saying some sensible things these days, but he still cannot be trusted. In a similar article posted yesterday, his full comments were included and he had to add his obligatory jab at President Trump.

Remembering back from when I was in elementary school and later, when my kids were in elementary school, I think teachers (especially elementary ones), have always believed they knew more about rearing children than the parents did. (Hey! The had DEGREES in the subject.)
My teachers worked with my parents on what they thought needed to be done. But that's hard and takes time - time they don't have keeping up with all the mandatory subjects and paperwork they have to do. Reaching the parents in hard when the parents must take time off from work to meet with the teachers.
So, with my kids, the teachers just told my kids that I wasn't, in effect, raising them right -- without consulting me. They became that alternate authority that disgruntled children look for -- the one that agrees with them. (As a child, I tried using the grandparents in that role; they didn't go for it.)
Easier for the teachers to just take over "fixing" the kids on their own, especially when your union and other support groups tell you, you are right. And what do those parents know, anyway?

I am still shaking my head over the entire idea that Bill Maher could ever be a spokesman for commonsense on anything. I even check my windows when I see headlines like this in case there are flying pigs in my yard. I have long said that the biggest bullies that our nation's kids will ever face are the administration and teaching staff of any public school.
Now I see this past week posted on Lucianne that some of the private schools are gently walking into the venue of the CRT agenda. It is going to come to this folks. Homeschooling our kids is going to be the only way we can protect our future. Both our kids and our nation's future. What is going on now in schools is brainwashing and racist attacks on certain ethnic groups and we have to fight back. One surprise we got from the lockdowns was a peek into the school agenda and the rot they teach. Let us not ever forget that.

Maher's male guest expressed some despair that FL and DeSantis were making points over nonsense as there are bigger issues to deal with.
From that guest's side of the sexual spectrum, it has been THE ONLY, issue facing the country. He can't have it both ways.

Reading, writing, arithmetic. That's it, keep your hands off of the children. Everybody knows what this sick perverted agenda is all about, so end it, end it now. Leave the kids alone. Values, morals, respect and respect for authority is TAUGHT IN THE HOME. GET IT YET.................

Maher has a lot of making up to do. He's partly the cause of this leftist craziness. All is not forgiven by a long shot, dude.
