The racist, white-hating, America-hating hypocrite Colin Kaepernick is trending AGAIN. And once again, it’s not for the right reasons (such as saving a drowning baby). No, per usual, the long knives are out over fits of selfish covetousness, cheap race grifting, and utter cluelessness. The announcement that future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers of MVP and Super Bowl-winning renown, was being awarded with a gargantuan contract was simply too much for small-minded, soulless trolls to handle.
One of the benefits of the Twitter cesspool is that it reveals so much about people.

Rodgers wins games, I’ll give him that. But he doesn’t win titles, he’s a notorious choker. He’s no Tom Brady.

There is only one Tom Brady. And Aaron Rodgers did win Back to Back NFL MVP. Says something....
As a Detroit Lions fan ( I know, I know) I really like GB and Aaron Rodgers. I've been watching Pat McAfee show on youtube and he's usually on Aaron Rodgers Tuesday. He's a deep, insightful guy, I was kind of shocked. His contract hasn't been announced yet. The media made crap up and ran with it. I'm happy he will be back in GB

Great. Now Aaron can afford to put some more Ayn Rand books on his shelves for those video interviews so he can drive the progs even more crazy...

Go Aaron. Colin should spend a little time reviewing God's Commandments.

The funny part is that Kaepernick was never a contender. Even if he had been hired by an NFL team through racial pressure, he would have had a mediocre career and probably been retired already.

No, OP. There are plenty of occupants in his angry world and they are seeking vengeance for percieved greivances they never suffered. It is frightening that there exists a media which continues to supply a platform for them to whine about the "injustices" suffered by a half black privileged millionaire who they would never be aware of had he not been raised by adoptive white parents.

What does Kaepernick have to do with this article? Did he actually make a comment about Rodgers? He can’t be responsible if a bunch unknowns use his name.

I have noticed that NFL contracts are never contracts really. They seem to be constantly renegotiated and revised.

Kaepernick is just another noisy fool with a "cause". Likewise, I hear many fans whine and moan abour no sports/entertainment figure being worth whatever the new going rate becomes. They'll suggest that money be used for good causes, or "spread around". They often proclaim they'll never watch or attend another game or event - if they haven't started that already years ago, or so they say.
No one pays anyone $50 million unless there is $50 million-plus coming back as a result. It's bad enough that minimum wage is becoming de facto $15 an hour, ainna?

Amazing the self hatred that guys like Colin and Obama have towards their white half. Which in both cases happen to be their mothers. Whites made them wealthy beyond belief but it still isn't enough for them.
It is easy for guys like Brady to win, when they have a coach who gives them the opponent's stolen playbook. Any guy with a sliver of talent can look like a superstar that way. If Rodgers is winning games at least it is honestly. Not like Cheater Brady.

Who cares what Kapernick thinks about Rodgers contract! If Kapernick were half the player he thinks he was and hadn't pulled his publicity stunt and quit football, he may have had the same opportunity for the same contract if he had the same record as Rodgers. Of course, Kapernick was not even 1/4 the player Rodgers actually is and Rodgers continues to play and is not a publicity whore like Kapernick. Anyway, Kapernick didn't make out so bad for himself with all of his poor me I'm so persecuted self promotion after he left the NFL.

After the 69-17 beat down Colin Kaepernick and his Nevada teammates received at the hands of Chase Daniel, a white QB, and the rest of the Missouri Tigers in 2008, one shouldn't be surprised that poor Colin resents anyone else God gifted with superior physical abilities and mental acuity. Colin, are you ever going to grow up?

It's easy to like terrific quarterbacks, but they've got to have some terrific, uninjured receivers who know how to get open to receive the passes. It seemed Aaron Rogers had too many injured receivers toward the end of this season. He can get the ball to the receivers whenever they are open and know how to snag it and hold onto it. In one of Tampa Bay's last games this year, second or third from the last regular season game, Brady fell apart and was intensely angry. His receivers just weren't getting open. The Buccaneers lost badly. Credit the good defense as well, of course.
