‘We Got Used To $2 Gas’: Heidi Heitkamp
Pushes Back Against Disapproval Of Biden
Amid Gas Price Hike

Original Article

Former Democratic North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp pushed back against criticism of President Joe Biden as gas prices soared across the U.S. on “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Sunday. “You always blame the party in power, and the administration isn’t aggressive enough in my opinion of pushing back on the red herrings,” Heitkamp said. “The red herrings like ‘it’s because you didn’t build the Keystone XL Pipeline’ and I remind them the first things Donald Trump did was give the permit and in four years the pipeline didn’t get built because it wasn’t economical to build that pipeline in those price points,” she began.

Comments:

Talk about being stupid. This is why she is FORMER Senator Heidi Heitkamp!

"I remind them the first things Donald Trump did was give the permit and in four years the pipeline didn’t get built because it wasn’t economical to build that pipeline in those price points,” No. The pipeline didn’t get built because of four years of opposition lawfare. Just as Democrats intended...

Hippo Heitcamp is a total liar. Keystone was delayed by Dem lawfare and by Keystone's refusal to be shaken down by an Indian tribe. The Keystone pipeline's designer came up with a shorter pipeline route that saved costs and avoided Indian lands completely. The Indians sued because they didn't get the chance to extort Keystone, and claimed a bogus environmental risk with the pipeline route

This is also about controlling the average citizen's ability to travel and conduct their life's business. Like medical appointments, going to work, going to the store and so on. No gas/diesel, no trips anywhere. This is indeed on Biden Sweetie, for he is keeping his promise about shutting down the oil industry in this nation. #7 that is an unrealistic price per gallon. No point in mentioning it. Oil per barrel about 70 is break even point pre-Covid. The remark to build refineries is en pointe. There needs to be a limit on the variety of Spring-Summer Gasoline Blends to increase current market supply.

Apparently #7 remembers something before #26's time. Gas didn't exceed 20 cents / gallon in the U.S. until the 1960s, and I can still recall my father getting quite upset to see it at 45.9 cents in the early 1970s But how low did the price per barrel of oil fall during PDJT's term? Didn't it briefly nudge below zero (or something nearly that surreal) shortly after the covid hysteria broke, early in 2020?

Dems have NO clue or are deliberately lying (or both) about the way commodities like oil work. Current commodity prices are greatly affected by changes in future supplies. Removing the potential sources of the Keystone pipeline and offshore drilling had an immediate effect on prices since the current oil becomes more valuable if the face of the future decline in availability. The same thing happens in reverse when new, previously unplanned sources become available. Prices immediately decrease. That's how commodities work. Even if you don't understand the economics of this, it's pretty obvious that Biden's cut of energy access caused energy prices to skyrocket and touched off the worst inflation in over 50 years. EVERYTHING in the economy is dependent on energy to one degree or another. As an example, ALL GOODS are shipped from manufacturer to their point of sale and that requires ships, planes, rail, and trucks and ALL of those use fuel. Further, there was no need for Biden to do what he did beyond the need to pander to the Leftists in the dem party. For many voters, it's even more simple. Biden became president and their annual expenses sored by thousands of dollars. The vast majority of voters do NOT support massive cost increases to practice environmentalism. That is a clear reality. Biden shoved it down their throats. The voters KNOW it and they DO NOT LIKE IT! I would love for November to be a dem extinction event.

First, the propaganda Press told people they had to hate Donald Trump, so no matter what he did or didn't do, he needed to go. Then, as if it was expected of him by his voters all along, his replacement began destroying our nation beginning on day one and has continued ever since. Although the press is rich enough to live with it, even his voters have grown sick of it, and of him.

I was raised on Disney fare and I let my children (now grown) watch Disney material. In the years after WWII and before wokeism struck, Disney produced movies and TV shows that fit squarely within traditional, family-friendly values. The material may not have been elevating or deep, but it was fun without being offensive. That Disney is long gone. The latest sign of Disney’s surrender to the hard left occurred when Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek, apologized to radicalized workers for not publicly opposing a Florida bill to ban teachers from Kindergarteners through third-graders about gender and sexual identity.

When my mother called me in from play one afternoon to meet the man seated in our living room, her introduction was redundant—I immediately knew who he was. And, right off, I did not like him.
