Is Zelensky Ukraine's George Washington?

Original Article

Posted By: Garnet, 2/28/2022 1:34:11 PM

Over the last 30 years, many Ukrainians have asked when their nation will finally get its George Washington, a leader who can rally the people and lead it to victory. I’ve usually told Ukrainian interlocutors that Washington wasn’t born a great man; he became one because of the trials of the Revolutionary War, when he demonstrated his ability to lead and to symbolize the American struggle. A Ukrainian Washington might emerge in a similar manner, and now perhaps he has. Ukrainians’ question may have been answered by an unlikely candidate for the hero role: Volodymyr Zelensky, a comedian-turned-president, who many analysts — including me — considered would be disastrous for the country.

Liberal Los Angeles Times is talking up George Washington. Think through this folks. Ukraine is at the top of Clinton Foundation foreign donors with 10 million. The biggest money laundering operation in the history of the world is located there. Don't insult George.

I'm beginning to think we are all being played, like PDT was with Faux-chi & the scarf lady. I think Putin has been played by Soros and the One World bunch, like Bidet! For a country as rich in natural resources as the Ukraine is, paying Bidets useless son to launder money whilst the US borrows money from China to bribe the 'democratic' leaders is pretty suspicious. Soros stating that the US must save the Ukraine is also suspicious. I guess you can put me down as a paranoid conspiracy theorist.

President Biden will give his first State of the Union address Tuesday night, marking the most consequential speech of his lifetime as U.S. inflation soars and Eastern Europe devolves into war. While State of the Union speeches tend to concentrate on domestic issues, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to launch a full-fledged invasion of Ukraine despite Biden’s repeated threats of economic sanctions has brought the U.S. president’s foreign policy agenda into central focus.Putin ordered his nuclear forces on high alert Sunday after the U.S. and other Western nations announced that they would remove selected Russian banks from the SWIFT international financial messaging system.

If the election were held today, Democrats would not only lose control of the House, but suffer massive losses in their ranks. That's the conclusion that should be drawn from new ABC News/Washington Post polling that shows a generic Republican candidate leading a generic Democratic one by a 49% to 42% margin among registered voters nationally. (That gap expands to 13 points when you limit the sample to registered voters who say they are "certain" to vote.) That's known as the generic ballot test. For decades, it's been a reliable weathervane as to which way -- and how hard -- the partisan winds are blowing.

Recently, after meeting with congressional Democrats, the United States Capitol Police initiated “extra security” precautions for Tuesday’s State of the Union address. The USCP is coordinating with the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police, the United States Park Police, the Secret Service and the National Guard. Included in their preparations is the construction of a 7-foot fence around the Capitol building and the deployment of 50 tactical military vehicles. The purported need for all this security involves “The People’s Convoy,” a procession of truckers crossing the country to protest the ongoing use of COVID-19 as a pretext for restricting American civil liberties.

In July 2021, President Biden, members of his administration, and the rest of the Covid cartel – federal health agencies, Big Pharma, legacy media, and Big Tech – began blaming the unvaccinated for the prolonged pandemic and calling it a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” On July 16, 2021, Salvador Rizzo, writing as the Washington Post’s fact-checker, and therefore an esteemed member of the Covid cartel, awarded Johnson four Pinocchios for stating what was objectively true: the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) had already reported “over 5,200 deaths” on their “early warning system.”

Russian troops have invaded Ukraine from three directions in an all-out war. Ukrainians have had to rush into full civilian mobilization in an attempt to survive it. At stake is the post-Soviet world order that provided for at least some semblance of diplomatic engagement over use of arms between major powers. Those life-and-death issues aren’t the big priority, at least not to former Secretary of State John Kerry. There is always a tweet, so says the online aphorism, developed during the chaotic Trump years, that now seems to hold true across administrations and perhaps even with increased significance after a Russian strongman decided to invade an eastern European neighbor over the holiday weekend. The Russian in question is Vladimir Putin. The country invaded, Ukraine, or more specifically the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics that Russia recently recognized diplomatically. And the tweet, well, that came from Joe Biden. It was sent February 21, 2020, and Biden, or someone on the Biden campaign, wrote: “Vladimir Putin doesn’t want me to be President. States around the nation, including Democratic ones such as New York and California, are lifting indoor mask mandates. But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention refuses to budge. It continues to recommend indoor masking in communities with substantial or high transmission — essentially the entire country — a stance that is particularly exasperating and harmful in regards to schools. The agency recommends masking all students ages 2 and older. In congressional testimony, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky insisted that school mask mandates continue. The following day, at a White House briefing, Walensky, after acknowledging rapidly falling COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths, said the agency would reconsider its guidelines,

Slowly but surely, the various COVID mandates are being relaxed or removed around the country. That’s even true in some blue states, where elected officials have come to realize that people are done with the pandemic and the restrictions being imposed on them in response to it. But not everyone is ready to abandon ship entirely. New York State still has a face mask mandate in place in the schools, though the Governor is ready to “review” it again this week to decide if the time has come to lift it. Similarly, in New York City, there is a vaccination mandate in place for all municipal workers

As the midterms loom, panicky House Democrats are painfully aware that the political portents do not favor them. They have been consistently behind on the generic congressional ballot, and their fate will be profoundly influenced by President Biden’s abysmal job approval numbers. Consequently, they badly need competent guidance from their leadership. They aren’t getting it. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is instead telling its members that their policies are not the problem. According to a recent Politico report, the DCCC insists that the source of their woes is GOP “culture war attacks” and the solution is better messaging.

President Biden will promote a new “988” crisis hotline and outline funding to combat the harmful effects of social media when he devotes a portion of his State of the Union Address to the “unprecedented mental health crisis” in the country, the White House said. The three-digit hotline is available in some parts of the country, but a July launch will make it available nationwide as part of an interconnected network of local crisis centers that can respond to calls and texts. Mr. Biden plans to propose nearly $700 million in funding in his fiscal 2023 budget to “staff up and shore up” local crisis centers.

I’m having a problem using the president’s formal title and name together. It’s not a matter of Republican disrespect for a Democrat. I referred to both Barack Obama and Bill Clinton by their presidential titles. It’s a matter of legitimacy. Over half of all Americans now believe that fraud affected the outcome of the last Presidential election. The Arizona election audit didn’t prove that the Donald won, as many hoped. But it did prove that we don’t really know who won that state. Given the election shenanigans around the country in November 2020, there is certainly justification to question the outcome.
