Democrats’ Abortion Bill That Would
Go Further Than Roe Fails After Close Vote

Original Article

Posted By: Beardo, 2/28/2022 9:58:22 PM

Nearly every Senate Democrat voted in favor of legislation Monday which would have radically expanded abortion rights beyond even the Supreme Court’s ruling in Roe v. Wade. The Women’s Health Protection Act would have forced every state to allow abortions for any reason until at least the point of viability, generally defined at around six months into a pregnancy, and banned most restrictions on abortion up to the point of birth. Every Republican voted against the bill, and every Democrat except Sen. Joe Manchin voted in favor, NBC News reported.

It really wasn't "close". The Demon-Rats needed 60 votes to overcome a filibuster. But it wasn't needed because it didn't get a simple majority in the Senate (mainly thanks to Manchen, who actually showed he has some of his soul left -- which clearly no other Demon-Rat in the Senate still has)!!! If you ever needed proof that 99% of all Demon-Rats are pure souless evil vermin, this should prove it. I truly hope this show of Demon-Rat extremism is shown in every Republican campaign ad from now on!!!!

Yep and over the weekend, acting President of the USA (according to Jill) Joe Biden, expressed that his legacy would be bringing back America's soul. Why is the Catholic faith so quiet about this subject? Abortion and taking God out of society is bringing back what kind of soul? I remember Cardinal Timothy Dolan speaking his mind on Donald Trump; strangely, he is quiet too.

A couple of observations. (1) I believe 'some' Democrats voted for this abomination knowing it will be defeated. So they could have best of both sides before the elections. (2) Regardless, it is evil to play politics with the lives of the unborn.(3) What part of the Constitution does this legislation rely on? Roe V Wade has nothing to do with the Constitution.

An abortion is about as much "Women's health care" as a nose job or Botox for the lips. The condition leading to an abortion is 100% preventable making abortion an elective medical procedure. Framing abortion as a health care issue is a distraction to the fact that a woman's (and mans) irresponsibility put them in an un uncomfortable position in which they now need to kill a living being because they were too lazy and irresponsible (in 99.9999% of the cases) to take precautions. Abortion is not birth control and should not be used as a substitute for the pill, condoms, or other successful methods of preventing pregnancy.

"Women’s decisions over women’s health care belong to women, not to extremist right-wing legislatures.'" Hey dems, you are forgetting that some of those babies you are allowing to be killed ARE WOMEN. So by trying to pass legislation like this dems are taking away THOSE WOMEN'S right to THEIR decisions over THEIR health care.

One of the many things we have learned from this China flue "pandemic" is that YOU absolutely do not control your own body any longer. It is controlled by the government now. Period. A Black female journalist with The Washington Post is speaking out after the publication's director of video misidentified her as Breonna Taylor—the Black woman whose 2020 police killing in Louisville, Kentucky sparked numerous protests and whose name became a rallying cry during the Black Lives Matter demonstrations. In a Twitter thread posted late Sunday, Micah Gelman, who heads the Post's video team, accidentally named video technician Breanna Muir as Breonna Taylor while thanking his team for their coverage of the war in Ukraine. In Muir's first post to LinkedIn, which she called "disheartening" given the circumstances, she said she felt the need to stand up for herself after being misidentified.

Camille Henderson said she was sitting near row 15 window during a Feb. 3 flight from Atlanta to San Francisco when the women, who were sitting in the aisle and middle seats in the row next to her, said they had first-class tickets, ABC 7 reported. “They felt like they were ticketed first-class seats, but they couldn’t provide the tickets,” Henderson told the news outlet, adding that the women continued the complaints for over an hour.

One of the questions asked over and over about Putin’s callous invasion of an inoffensive neighbor, an invasion that is mysteriously rationalized by an amazing number of people on the right who were apoplectic over Trudeau’s brutality with the Freedom Convoy, is what was his objective. It’s obvious that he was torqued about Ukraine flirting with EU and NATO membership, but if he wanted regime change, a few million dollars, an AstroTurfed mob, and a GRU or Spetsznaz hit squad could have accomplished that (look at how easily Putin installed his previous stooge, Yanukovych) with much less melodrama and loss of life.

One of the oddest commentaries about the Russian invasion of Ukraine is the boilerplate reaction that “borders can’t change in modern Europe” or “this does not happen in the 21st century.” But why in the world should the 21st century be exempt from the pathologies of the past 20 centuries? Are we smarter than the Romans? More innovative than Florentines? Do we have more savvy leaders than Lincoln or Churchill? Are they more mellifluous than Demosthenes? Does anyone now remember that some 130,000 were slaughtered just 30 years ago in the former Yugoslavia, as NATO planes bombed Belgrade and nuclear America and Russia almost squared off?
