Canada Police to Send Names of Trucker
Protesters to Financial Institutions

Original Article

Canadian banks will receive the names of people involved in “Freedom Convoy” protests that have descended on the nation’s capital, a first step in a promised financial crackdown on demonstrators being instituted by the far-left government of Justin Trudeau. Bloomberg reports the Canadian Bankers Association confirmed the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has alerted banks to a list of names and made it available. The institutions are reportedly still seeking clarity from law enforcement on how to handle the alleged protesters’ accounts, according to people familiar with the matter. But Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland said some accounts have already been frozen, the news outlet reported.

There once was a time when the French demonstrated how to deal with bad leadership that told the worker bee citizens to "eat cake". I understand that there is a strong connection to France in Canada. Maybe the callousness of their leaders of today will inspire them to a remedy.

How very fascist of them. How totalitarian. How ill-liberal. I wonder if the Canadians will stip up and save themselves? I wonder if the police force is so inculcated into the corruption that they will continue to act against their own people? I wonder if the Canadian military has men and women who will turn their weapons on their fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters? God Save Canada.

I'm generally a back the blue guy having been one for a number of years and still having a lot of friends behind a badge, but let this be a lesson that when some of them have to choose between a paycheck and your freedoms, they're going for the paycheck. This necessarily has to lead to an errosion of trust. We need to ask ourselves, and them, where they stand. Do they want to be Nazi prison camp guards or free Americans?

So if the Canadian banks start robbing people, looks like these will be among the choices people will make: 1) Take all your money out before they can get it 2) Start robbing the banks yourself 3) Start killing these fascists. Bring back the guillotine 4) Leave the country and take all your money with you 5) Do nothing at all. Total strike/shutdown I'd say it's going to get very interesting in Canada very fast. Hmmm. Maybe we should just invade and annex it, letting the truckers run it.

I guess there's nothing like a veto in Canada. Trudeau's party as I understand it, is in the minority. So, what are the rest of the parties doing? Are they going along with Trudeau? I've heard nothing about any opposition or push back coming from the other political parties.

The truckers, their friends and family members, and everyone who supports their cause should withdraw all of their funds from any bank that cooperates. Start a run on the banks and cause them to fail. Yes it will be bad for the economy and probably for your personal credit as autopay's fail but this is for all the marbles. Canadians have got to decide if they are a free people or Trudeau's slaves.

I guess when your elected "leader" is a dictator-wanna-be, the police under him quickly become the 21st century Stasi!!! I still believe that here in the USA, 99.9% of the police (except for the Captial Police in DC) are the "good guys" most of the time. However, in the rest of the world, I'm truly starting to believe that the line between the police and Hitler's Gestapo is getting very blurred. I really thought Canada was like the USA, but clearly I am wrong. Just a bunch of Royal Canadian Mountie SS Troopers!!!!!

A U.S. women's basketball superstar is being held in Russia after allegedly being caught with illegal drugs at an airport in Moscow. The basketball player, identified by Russian media outlet Lenta as Brittney Griner, 31, was flagged at Sheremetyevo Airport sometime last month after flying in from New York. Russian customs officials claim she was carrying vaping equipment with cannabis oil cartridges, which are illegal in Russia. She reportedly could face 5 to 10 years in prison. When a commenter argued that Russia state media was propaganda, Musk replied that "All news sources are partially propaganda, some more than others." Earlier, he tweeted that SpaceX had prioritized "cyber defense & overcoming signal jamming," having said a day earlier that in some parts of Ukraine Starlink was the only non-Russian communications system working and it was likely to be targeted.

As the war in Ukraine grinds on, most Russians are unaware of what is really happening amid a new crackdown by President Vladimir Putin on the few remaining independent media outlets. On Friday morning, Russian lawmakers passed a law introducing jail terms for anyone who publishes so-called fake information about the country's armed forces. The law carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison for journalists or other people who spread military information that the Kremlin deems to be untrue. At least two independent media outlets have been taken off the air this week after officials accused them of reporting false information, which means basically anything that is not being published by official Russian sources.

Joe Biden has had one of the most disastrous first years of a presidential term in US history. Yeah, Abraham Lincoln had the Civil War and George W. Bush had 9/11, but there’s a difference between events being forced on a president and a president causing events. Biden managed to completely screw up the response to COVID despite being handed vaccines upon taking office. More people ended up dying on his watch than under the Trump administration. Then there are the foreign policy boondoggles, from Afghanistan to what’s currently happening with Russia. But if that wasn’t bad enough, Biden also turned the border into a humanitarian disaster.

In smaller Willacy County, GOP votes jumped to 26 percent of the vote share, from 8 percent in 2018. In Hidalgo County

Across America, jurisdictions are ending covid-related mandates and shutdowns. No more masks! No more vaccine certificates! Get the kids back in school! Of course I think these developments are all good; I have argued from near the beginning of the epidemic that shutdowns and mask mandates are useless and counterproductive. But why are liberals in government now throwing in the towel? The standard explanation is that the extreme measures taken to “combat” covid have worked, along with vaccination. Thus, because of the great progress we have made, life can get back to normal. Joe Biden framed it in typical fashion

Washington- The Supreme Court on Friday reimposed the death sentence for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, reversing a federal appeals court ruling that had voided it. By a vote of 6-3, the court rejected defense claims that the judge at Tsarnaev’s 2015 trial improperly restricted the questioning of prospective jurors and was wrong to exclude evidence of a separate crime two years before the bombing. Tsarnaev was convicted of joining his older brother, Tamerlan, in planting and detonating two pressure cooker bombs at separate spots near the marathon finish line in 2013. The blasts killed three people and left hundreds of others with serious injuries.
