Washington—Former Vice President Mike Pence urged Republicans to move on from the 2020 election and declared that "there is no room in this party for apologists for Putin" as he further cemented his break from former President Donald Trump. Pence, in a speech Friday evening to the party's top donors in New Orleans, took on those in his party who have failed to forcefully condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin for his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. "Where would Russian tanks be today if NATO had not expanded the borders of freedom? There is no room in this party for apologists for Putin," Pence said, according to excerpts from the speech

Pence really is a lying jackass. If he listened to the speech he knows that Trump made it clear he does not support Putin's actions. Pence wants to be president. Pence will never be president.

Pence has always made me queasy. Not too bright, but just bright enough to understand how palms get greased.
If he keeps this up, PDJT will go scorched earth on him and reduce him to rubble and ash.
He needs to take his money and go to the house.
Idiot.

Pence is a one-dimensional little pol from Indiana who is trying desperately to be a Big Man - and President. He will never be either. Watched him for a few minutes yesterday. All he has is criticism for Trump, and he is not fit to shine Trump’s shoes let alone analyze his thinking. He got this wrong.
As for “forcefully condemning”, Pence could not be forceful if his life depended upon it. He would be as bad as Biden.

Trump was not ‘apologizing’ for Putin. He was merely pointing out that Putin is a lot smarter than Biden and is playing NATO like a fiddle and he’s absolutely right. Pence is either playing swampy politics or he’s totally clueless.

Pence is the defacto pick of the Deep State Globalist uniparty. Very easy to see through. He had a chance to force a recount, ala 2000 Democrats demanding a full recount like Florida did but did not. He did what he was told instead of the right thing.

Pence is the quintessential establishment Republican candidate, just like McCain, Romney and even the Bush’s. Put them out there with no intention to actually win, just political theater. Republicans like Pence gave us Clinton, Obama and now Biden. The media will push him for the Presidential primary just like they did with McCain and Romney. Liz Cheney will probably be the VP candid on his ticket. Pence needs to find out soon he has zero chance of success.

I’ve never seen a Republican so anxious to get crapped on by Dems in a presidential election. Not since McCain, Romney and Jeb, at least. Democrats must see Pence the same way Xi, Putin and Kim Il Jong see Biden.

So, admitting a foe is "smart" now equals "apologism?"
Not true in the real world where words have meanings!
An "apologist" is literally one who makes excuses for someone's shortcomings, defending them.
What President Trump did was acknowledge Putin's abilities.

So pence thinks he can win over the Republican party by attacking Trump on the basis of twisting the meaning of a sentence such that he characterizes Trump as a Putin supporter? In other words, by invoking the Russia Collusion Hoax?
I think pence would have trouble persuading a republican of his fitness for the office if he had 100% of Trump’s support. But really! Using the Russian Hoax?!!!???
I guess every VP must run for president. There really is no place for pence; I can’t imagine how he made it this far. But if you look at Kamel a hairass and most of the other dims you wonder what the heck they’re doing on camera in “leadership “ rolls.
But Trump kicked pence out of the Trump Circle so what’s he to do. I don’t blame Trump although surely he could have found some role for pence in the republican party.

Like mittens, pence only makes a fist when he can mew about Trump or the principles and people who back any Trump idea that actually puts the USA above scummy political parties. Pence is a finger in the wind swamp slug.

Whose apologizing for Putin? All Trump said was that Putin was a genius, and to a certain extent Trump is correct. Putin took over several countries when Obozo was president. Held his army back while Trump was president. Then when Mr. Potato Head was installed as president, Putin invaded Ukraine. Putin took advantage of weak U.S. leadership to make his moves and held back when strong leadership in the U.S. was in charge. It may not be a genius move, but Putin saw what was obvious to everyone but the MSM, D.C., and too many idiots who vote demoslut.

Pence is radioactive as far as I am concerned. And I see no "apologist" for Putin in Trump. The only apologist is have seen are some posters here who have in the last four or five days done that exactly.
Recognizing that someone exploited the cowardice, incompetence and even financial support (effectively enabling) of our "resident' in the WH and his staff of fools and paid traitor isn't being an apologist for Putin.

But since November 2020, he has pretty much proven that my distrust was appropriate.

Another crap article by AP. They admit in the article that their headline about Pence hitting Trump is a lie, stating that Pence did not accuse Trump of being an apologist for Putin. They also state that Trump is "teasing" a run in 2024. Evidently, they are too stupid to know that Trump is running wide open.

Pence is obviously thinking about running for the wimpy Republican nomination for President in 2024. But he can’t win because he has been stabbing Trump in the back, so most Trump supporters who make up a major faction of the Republican Party base will not vote for Pence. Besides Pence is so wimpy that the Democrats would stomp him into to the gutter in a General Election.

Pence, I know she is not a member of the GOP, but why don't you ask Hitlery the question how she got 140 $ million from Putin? Uranium is used for atomic weapons. Americans are bringing it out of the ground for the Russians. Why do Americans have to aide Putin???? The ground/property does not belong to the Klinton crime family. So, Mr. Pence do explain or ask Hitlery to explain!!! BTW, you don't have to worry, you will not become prez. ever.

Had Bill Clinton not disarmed Ukraine, and had NATO not then pushed membership for Ukraine to "expand the borders of freedom" (meaning, to open a new market for US arms dealers and to provoke Russia), those tanks might well be back in Russia instead of in Ukraine, Mr. Pence.
