Elon Musk overnight said "some governments" had asked SpaceX to block Russian state media on its Starlink internet satellites but said, "We will not do so unless at gunpoint." He specified it wasn’t a request from Ukraine, adding, "Sorry to be a free speech absolutist." When a commenter argued that Russia state media was propaganda, Musk replied that "All news sources are partially propaganda, some more than others." Earlier, he tweeted that SpaceX had prioritized "cyber defense & overcoming signal jamming," having said a day earlier that in some parts of Ukraine Starlink was the only non-Russian communications system working and it was likely to be targeted.

Someone who pretty much ignored Elon Musk, I now find him very interesting and a deeper thinker than I imagined. Much as we dislike Putin, these countries can manage his propaganda. We’ve been getting it here on RT (Russian state media) and our own MSM for a long time. I read that RT just folded up its own US operation.

#2 Elon Musk is a fully functioning autistic. They are extremely intelligent. Their brains function different than the rest of us. They see the truth, they tell it like it is and they don't lie. They have tremendous sarcasm in the process. Do not underestimate him. I have a grandson like that. He is 12. He is in the regular classes in school. He excels at math and science. He is the best student in his class. The teachers love him. He is reading a book on astrophysics. He says I read it slowly because I want to understand it. He wants to finish high school quickly, go to college to study aerospace engineering. The other day, the teacher announced she was going to have a "science fair" and asked the students what they were going to prepare. Our grandson told her he was going to write about the parallel universe. The teacher didn't know what to do.

#6, Just one area of activity. He also founded a rocket company that in the space of 10 years went from zero to completely changing how rockets are built and recovered. Went right past NASA and entire governments, like Russia. He also has created groundbreaking efforts in brain/machine links, tunneling tech, internet distribution via his own satellite company, battery tech, and more innovations at a pace no one thought possible. The fact that he isn't Gates, Cuban, Zuckerberg, Bezos, or any other billionaire, is fantastic.

Sure, Russia has their state media to be their propagandists. But Ukraine has had the entire MSM to be their propagandists during this invasion. Oh that somewhere -- anywhere -- there would be some news media that actually just reported the news!!!

I'm OK with that. If I was in charge, I wouldn't have run RT off our channels, but I essentially never watched it, either. I got plenty of Russian propaganda working with some of their nuclear weapons managers on non-weapons peaceful projects. At one point, I was really shocked to have a Russian project manager just lie to my face about stuff that he couldn't fake, like whether a critical path fixture was completed or not. Obvious stuff. I discovered that he considered information coming from me to the workers making some testing fixtures to be something that he didn't pass on, for reasons unknown. So, I got the lead engineer's fax number, and worked up drawings and sketches with notes on the fixturing, had our Russian secretary translate the notes, and fax it directly. When on site, the lead engineer (a former Spetnast colonel) and I communicated very well with only sketches and equations, "languages" universal to engineers and scientists. Bypassing the lying, incompetent (sabotaging?) project manager was the only way I got the project completed on time with success. It later found out that he was the son of an important leader of their nuke R&D institute, and a year later was put in charge of the whole place. But, i had good, competent Russian scientists and engineers on several projects, too. Their bureaucrats are the ones to watch out for the most, and I guess that's just like here.

I like Dennis Miller. Miss him on talk radio. He read the room and stopped talking politics and left the public airwaves. In 2020 he again re-invented himself by hosting a twice-weekly show featuring celebrity interviews, on RT America. Out of curiosity checked out other things on the channel. Can't stand our media, so why not. It used to be healthy to hear other perspectives, or is it now called propaganda. Loathe the globalists and what they have done to our world. Pray daily.

"This is *critical* to national and international security." Musk said the fears of radiation are overblown. Demonstrating his commitment to the idea, Musk vowed to eat locally grown food near a nuclear power plant on television. "I did this in Japan many years ago, shortly after Fukushima," he said.
