New HIV super-strain is found in the Netherlands:
Highly infectious variant makes people
ill twice as quickly and has been spotted
in at least 109 people

A new super-mutant HIV strain that makes infected individuals ill twice as fast as current versions of the virus has been detected in the Netherlands. The new mutant—called the VB variant—has infected at least 109 people, according to a study by Oxford University. The strain damages the immune system and weakens a person's ability to fight everyday infections and disease faster than previous versions of the virus. It means those who catch this strain could develop AIDS more quickly. The VB variant also has a viral load between 3.5 and 5.5 times higher than the current strain, meaning infected people are more likely to transmit the virus

Comments:

Grab your ankles, 'cause here comes the Turbo AIDS. Just in time, too, as Moderna has an HIV vaccine in the works based on its fabulous mRNA-based technology. As is, British "men who have sex with men" are supposed to get tested every 3 months, which is handy given that the effectiveness of the existing Coronavirus shots tapers off sharply on just that timeline.

How about we just stop all INCOMING visitors from other Countries. How about we shut down ALL of our Borders! Then we go about our business! We don't let the new virus get into this country from visitors or Illegals, so we should be fine. Right? Or maybe there isn't really a new Virus! Who knows! Who do we trust anymore! I think we need to have a "Burn your Mask Day"!

I remember when they sold us on fearing this homosexual disease by proclaiming it affects everyone. One thing I have noticed though, it does not seem to affect women nearly as much as men. Almost as if un natural sex spreads it much worse! NOW, I know of ONE lady who died of aids and she caught it from her husband, who had gotten it in a blood transfusion. I donate whole blood to the American Red Cross on a regular schedule. Before their donated blood is used by any hospital it is tested for diseases like West Nile virus and HIV. Private blood collection companies that pay donors may not have the same screening. I don't know how they process the blood they collect, but that is probably the source of infections for people like the Amanda Blake family. Please, NEVER EVER forget the role Bill Clinton played in shipping HIV infected blood, collected from the Arkansas prison system, to Montreal where many innocent victims died from AIDS. Once again the scum media buried another democrat scandal.

'We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technologies to transition to a zero emission fleet,' Harris said during the announcement. 'We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time.'

The White House on Sunday rejected the argument that increasing domestic oil production would help lower gas prices, as the cost of oil moves toward record highs. Crude oil prices rose as high as $130.50 a barrel on Sunday evening. White House press secretary Jen Psaki released a set of talking points on social media, arguing against a focus on boosting oil production in the United States. “It’s a reminder that real energy security comes from reducing our dependence on fossil fuels,” Psaki wrote, noting that Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine was causing a spike in oil prices. Psaki pushed back against Republicans calling for more domestic oil production.

Within MAGA circles, talk is turning increasingly to impeaching Joe Biden after the midterm elections—assuming, of course, the Republicans retake the House of Representatives (which appears likely). Unfortunately, actual removal would require 60 votes in the Senate. Even under the most favorable scenario, it’s unlikely the GOP will pick up more than four Senate seats.  Nonetheless, with the strong likelihood the Republicans will take control of the House, impeaching Biden looks viable. Why? Well, for the same reason a Democrat-controlled House impeached Donald Trump—twice.  The Democrats used the impeachment process to persuade millions of middle-of-the-road and independent voters that Trump had done something terribly wrong. Of course, the Democrats’ two impeachment efforts were frivolous

On Sunday’s broadcast of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” former National Security Council Senior Director Fiona Hill insisted former President Donald Trump, despite being out of office for more than a year, played a role in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine. Hill argued that Trump’s request for a “personal favor” set the wheels in motion for the invasion. “[I] think there’s just the one point that sums everything up that you yourself touched on is that President Trump at a pretty critical period, withheld military assistance to Ukraine that was desperate for it at that particular junction, basically to get Volodymyr Zelensky to do him a personal favor,” Hill said.

Former Attorney General William Barr said he believes former President Donald Trump is morally responsible for the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol but isn't legally culpable.Asked by NBC News' Lester Holt whether he considered Trump "responsible" for the violence at the Capitol, Barr said: "I do think he was responsible in the broad sense of that word, in that it appears that part of the plan was to send this group up to the Hill. I think the whole idea was to intimidate Congress. And I think that that was wrong."But, he added, he hasn't seen evidence that Trump committed an actual crime.

A group of rowdy teens have harassed and attacked workers in an East Village deli near Tompkins Square Park for months, but the police have done nothing about it, the store owner says. Jay Patel, owner of Sheen Brothers Deli at 157 Avenue B, says he has called the police time and again about the teen terrors, but cops have told him their hands are tied. “I was calling the police officers every day. Those kids come in the store,” Patel said. “Sometimes, they have a metal rod, and sometimes, a baseball bat. ... The police say they can’t do anything.” In one security video, teens punch a clerk repeatedly

Russia's invasion of Ukraine appears to have ground to a halt with no significant territory captured despite a weekend of heavy fighting, with Kyiv's men claiming to have taken out dozens of helicopters and recaptured a city this morning - sparking hopes that the unlikeliest of victories may be on the cards.Putin's men renewed their bombardments on Mariupol, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv this morning as hundreds of civilians tried to evacuate Irpin - on the outskirts of Kyiv - across a destroyed bridge after days of heavy attacks in an attempt to encircle the capital. But Russian commanders have not significantly advanced their frontline since the city of Kherson

Definition of moron --- a stupid or foolish person. Outdated now offensive definition --- a person of mild intellectual disability. --- Merriam Webster Dictionary I'll go with the current definition of moron to describe the behavior of Americans for the past few decades. There is just no reason why so many so-called educated people have fallen for so many hoaxes and easily disproved schemes. In 2016, my former best friend called me a moron for opting to vote for Donald Trump. I wasn't offended but she no longer felt it necessary to speak to me ever again.

The White House was struggling on Sunday night with how best to support Ukraine without drawing U.S. and NATO forces into direct conflict with Russia. The day began with Secretary of State Antony Blinken saying the White House had given the 'green light' for Poland to send fighter jets to Ukraine - a declaration that Moscow forcibly rejected. It then concluded with Poland describing reports of their sending jets to Ukraine as 'fake news.'A senior American official told The New York Times that the question being asked in the White House is: 'Tell me how we don't get sucked in to a superpower conflict.'

Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk on Sunday said Europe must reboot its nuclear power stations for the sake of national and international security. "Hopefully, it is now extremely obvious that Europe should restart dormant nuclear power stations and increase power output of existing ones," Musk tweeted. "This is *critical* to national and international security." Musk said the fears of radiation are overblown. Demonstrating his commitment to the idea, Musk vowed to eat locally grown food near a nuclear power plant on television. "I did this in Japan many years ago, shortly after Fukushima," he said. "Radiation risk is much, much lower than most people believe."
