The White House was struggling on Sunday night with how best to support Ukraine without drawing U.S. and NATO forces into direct conflict with Russia. The day began with Secretary of State Antony Blinken saying the White House had given the 'green light' for Poland to send fighter jets to Ukraine - a declaration that Moscow forcibly rejected. It then concluded with Poland describing reports of their sending jets to Ukraine as 'fake news.'A senior American official told The New York Times that the question being asked in the White House is: 'Tell me how we don't get sucked in to a superpower conflict.'

Maybe it's time to unmothball the M/28/M29 jeep mounted Davy Crockett a 120 or 155 mm recoilless rifle. The worlds smallest nuclear device yielding 20 tonnes of TNT with a range of a mile and a half they would be quite effective in the urban Battlefield. If the Russians create Havoc with Chernobyl or one of the other plants...Turn-about is fair play.

Maybe it's time to understand that Ukraine is the bad actor in all of this. NATO wants Ukraine for its natural resources, NATO wants missiles on Russia's border, NATO wants Ukraine to be part of the Great Reset, NATO wants Ukraine to be part of NATO, the media wants us to believe Ukraine was just minding its own business. Russia TOLD them to stop pushing. The US and NATO are to blame for every Ukraine death. STOP believing the LIES!!!!

Let's admit that the U.S. government has been all over the recent governments of Ukraine. Once again, U.S. meddling for influence and money (wealth for some) is causing pain and suffering for people on the other side of the world.
For me, the masks are coming off in so many ways! I was blind, but now I see.

Start drilling for oil and gas in the US. Force the price of energy down and cut off Putin's financial spigot.

What would NATO, a military alliance,do with Ukraine’s resources? If NATO is the problem, they should just tell Putin that, in exchange for a complete withdrawal, they will not allow Ukraine to join NATO. I suspect things are more complicated than that, however.

This war is all about NATO hubris and the military industrial complex. The Warsaw Pact was dissolved with the understanding that the former SSRs would remain neutral as a buffer to the paranoid Russians but Clinton and NATO immediately began accepting them into the alliance. Ukraine was the last straw for Putin.
This could of been avoided if NATO had only rejected Ukraine. Russia foreign policy experts and historians recognized the Russian paranoia and have been warning of these consequences for decades.

Since the fall of the USSR, NATO has existed only to:
Pee away as much American tax money as possible.
Create as many excuses as possible to NOT protect member states.
Ensure that the Generals uniforms are shiny and new.
Profit, profit, profit at every possible opportunity.
Military Alliance? More like a RICO act prosecution waiting for a prosecutor with the nards to take action.

That's always the plan - send expensive weapons.
Then when the army you were backing runs away, those weapons get used on us.
Happens every time!
Lindsey Graham and other "hawks" will always do the bidding of the defense industry, because they were well paid to do that very thing.

NATO told Russia several years ago that Ukraine would not be allowed to join NATO.
The latest gossip suggests that Ukraine was being considered for NATO membership.
Putin does not want NATO missiles posted to its border with Russia (any more than the USA would want Russian missiles in Cuba).
Putin is certainly being his typical, warmongering, imperialistic self, but Ukraine is far from blameless.

I firmly believe that Biden started this war by running his big mouth. We have been in it from the beginning. We are scrambling with "warp speed" missile delivery now when two stealth bombers could have stopped the Russians cold before they crossed the Ukranian border and nobody would have known where the bombs came from except the pilots. The bombs could have been built to resemble Chinese munitions. Don't these people read Tom Clancy?

The U.S. has already been sucked in to the conflict, and will lose for their efforts. Russia will take possession of all that American equipment when Biden is forced to leave again.

If NATO is the issue, then someone needs to step up and get NATO out of this. The US effectively runs NATO. A stronger President would tell NATO to fix this by stepping back from Ukraine and Russia in general. Russia was not our enemy until someone--the Democrats?-- made it our enemy. And it's worth noting that Trump was right about NATO.

Gee, aren't you happy the Cold War is over? Just imagine if it wasn't.
A little history regarding Ukraine. It was annexed by Russia under Catherine the Great in the 1680s. Russia held it most of the time until 1991. When the USSR was founded, the three founding nations were Russia, Belarus, and you guessed it, Ukraine. Ukraine was an integral part of Russia, and along comes the United States trying to drive a wedge in designed to break Russia's back. How else would you think Russia would respond?
Why is the US doing this? it's an election year, the pandemic has turned into a massive deadly con and people aren't buying it anymore, and our government needs a new feardemic. A war with Russia is perfect!
Not against Ukrainian independence, but the land goes to the people with the willpower to hold it. Just to flip the narrative a bit. If all the native American tribes in Florida and Texas demanded independence and all their lands back, would you give it to them? I acknowledge it's not the same as Ukraine, but we would never return any land that we haven't already given them.

The best idea of course would be if you resigned and took the entire clown administration with you!
