Doesn't an Act of War against a country like Russia require a vote in Congress? Hello republican gutless wonders, stop sucking the democrat communist hind teats and all the cash you are collecting from the lobbyists, and actually act like patriots for once and stop this war madness. Where in the Hell are you in preventing this colossal mistake which will hasten the destruction of our beloved Country being done by the communist death democrats. Where the Hell are you republicans? Where are you? Stop this madness now. No one give a tinker's damn about Ukraine except the Industrial War Complex and the communist democrats who think a war would make us all forget that they are the real enemies we must fight and defeat. Wonder if all those Ukrainian bribes sent to F Joe Biden in the past are now due and payable? No War With Russia. China is the enemy.

There is no need start a war over with Russia over Ukraine. if they invade, cut off their pipeline and enforce trade sanctions. The Russians want the Ukraine to profit off its resources. Make it cost 10 times more than they would have made until they change their mind. Israel has already made a deal to supply Europe with its energy needs. If that isn't enough the US should be happy to sell them the rest.

Biden and his minders are wagging their tails. Nothing like a good old fashioned nuclear war to distract Americans from the Fubar'g of America that has gone on for the last year. Biden is dangerous. Republicans should call for a vote on a declaration of war if Russian invades the Ukraine before the Ukraine gets really out of control. Don't hold your breath.

If I understand the news articles I read, isn’t Ukraine pretty much a failed state? Corruption is so rampant even their government can’t control it. The parts of the government that aren’t part of the corruption at least. Didn’t they elect a comedian for President because he promised to do something about their corruption problems? Doesn’t seem to have worked out very well. And the part of Ukraine that Russia wants back is primarily Russian anyway. Or at least that’s their excuse. Let them settle it. I’m with you, China is our enemy, not the Russian people. Along with our own government, now there’s a real enemy.

Even the eastern Med is a long reach to northern Ukraine,. The Aegean is pretty tight waters for a carrier task force, NOT desirable, and still is 900 miles from where the fight would be. and that mean transiting over Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova by the direct route. The minimum number of countries to cross would be northwestern Turkey, indirect route, mostly over the Caspian Sea. From the Ionian Sea, about 1100 miles, flying over similar countries, maybe add Macedonia and Albania. Operate from the Adriatic, near Italy, and it is about 1100 miles, and the "minimum countries" route would be over Coatia and Hungary. THAT may be diplomatically possible, perhaps. Still a very long haul and having refueling tankers over Hungary for the return flight....maybe. Could possibly fly into Polish airspace (likely to get approval) for refueling on the return, then back into extreme western Ukraine, and exit via Hungary and Croatia, back to the Adriatic. NOT a simple mission profile, long ranges, aerial refueling required and the whole diplomatic mess of overflight approval confounds it a lot more. Russia would be VERY unhappy with any countries permitting overflight of any combat missions. I'd think that USAF aircraft moved to SE Poland air bases, around 400-500 mile path, one way, a WHOLE lots more practical from a tactical standpoint. But then, Traitor Joe and his idiot minions are fools and do not actually plan on doing anything. The "carrier option" is a really stupid option in this geographical situation. Makes no sense....just like everything else these fools have done.

An aircraft carrier in the Med may intimidate Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria etc. One will not. However, intimidate a world class military. Especially with the limited ability to maneuver or hide. Its a big fish in a little pond.......with only one exit.

Back in the day when the Ukrainians broke from the Russian Federation the issue of the nuclear weapons in Ukraine was a hot one. It was resolved by a defense treaty that Ukraine give up their nuke weapons and the US would defend Ukraine from an invasion. I think that treaty is still in place.

London - Britain on Saturday accused the Kremlin of seeking to install a pro-Russian leader in Ukraine, and said Russian intelligence officers had been in contact with a number of former Ukrainian politicians as part of plans for an invasion. The British foreign ministry declined to provide evidence to back its accusations, which came at a time of high tensions between Russia and the West over Russia's massing of troops near its border with Ukraine. Moscow has insisted it has no plans to invade. The British ministry said it had information the Russian government was considering former Ukrainian lawmaker Yevhen Murayev as a potential candidate to head a pro-Russian leadership.

The NFL is curtailing daily testing of all players, vaccinated or unvaccinated, for COVID-19. In a memo sent to the 32 clubs and obtained by The Associated Press, the league said Friday that medical experts from the NFL and the players’ union agreed to the change. Those doctors have seen enough evidence of a decrease in positive tests in the last month to feel comfortable with dropping daily tests. Last month, weekly testing for vaccinated players and personnel was stopped, but anyone who reported symptoms of COVID-19 or was part of targeted surveillance still was subjected to testing. CDC Dir.
