Of course they are getting federal subsidies to do this. The taxpayers get screwed again. The chip makers let others countries take over and we suffer for it and now we have to give them our tax money to do us the favor of making chips here to sell back to us. Our leaders are so stupid it’s unbelievable that they ever let this situation happen. Free an fair trade means nothing when critical commodities and products are not under our control. Glad to see a giant chip factory but this just the tip of the dependent foreign trade iceberg.

London - Britain on Saturday accused the Kremlin of seeking to install a pro-Russian leader in Ukraine, and said Russian intelligence officers had been in contact with a number of former Ukrainian politicians as part of plans for an invasion. The British foreign ministry declined to provide evidence to back its accusations, which came at a time of high tensions between Russia and the West over Russia's massing of troops near its border with Ukraine. Moscow has insisted it has no plans to invade. The British ministry said it had information the Russian government was considering former Ukrainian lawmaker Yevhen Murayev as a potential candidate to head a pro-Russian leadership.

Berlin - Berlin is ruling out arms deliveries to Ukraine in the standoff with Russia for now, German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht said in an interview published on Saturday, a few days after Britain started supplying Kyiv with anti-tank weapons. A bipartisan group of U.S. senators also promised weapons to Ukraine, which could include missiles, small arms and boats, to help the country defend itself from a potential invasion amid a Russian military build-up on its borders.

The NFL is curtailing daily testing of all players, vaccinated or unvaccinated, for COVID-19. In a memo sent to the 32 clubs and obtained by The Associated Press, the league said Friday that medical experts from the NFL and the players’ union agreed to the change. Those doctors have seen enough evidence of a decrease in positive tests in the last month to feel comfortable with dropping daily tests. Last month, weekly testing for vaccinated players and personnel was stopped, but anyone who reported symptoms of COVID-19 or was part of targeted surveillance still was subjected to testing. Your hunch is confirmed: lefties take politics way too seriously. A booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine significantly reduces a person's odds of hospitalization from the omicron variant, new research released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention finds. The three new studies from the agency are among the first to look at the vaccines' impact against omicron in the United States, which now accounts for more than 99 percent of new cases in the country. The research underscores the importance of booster shots to protect against severe illness from the rapidly spreading variant. Though cases are beginning to decline in some hard hit areas, such as in the Northeast,

The only unity Joe Biden is producing for Americans is in disapproval of his performance in office. Both sides of the aisle are taking shots at him for his handling of the illegal immigrant crisis, for example. In an odd twist, the Biden administration finds itself in federal court defending its continuance of a Trump-era policy on asylum. More specifically, the Biden administration is arguing in support of Title 42, the rarely used public health policy that allows the Border Patrol to immediately turn back migrants over concerns of a contagious illness. In this case, it is the coronavirus pandemic. Migrants don’t have

The CIA has found that most of the 1,000 cases of “Havana Syndrome'” were not caused by actions taken by a hostile foreign power. The agency said that about two dozen cases remain unexplained and they will continue to investigate what caused them. But the upshot is that no physical evidence has yet been found to validate the theory of a directed energy weapon being used on American diplomats. And other evidence points in an entirely different direction, one involving the mysteries of the brain. Havana Syndrome first appeared at the Cuban embassy in 2016 when a couple of dozen diplomats

On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Assembly held another election integrity hearing to present evidence of voter fraud and irregularities that have been found in their investigation of the rigged 2020 election. And just like last month’s election hearing, they dropped some serious bombshells. Yesterday’s hearing built on those findings and presented more questions for the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC), which has failed to answer previous questions on the 2020 election. They did however respond to the reported 119,283 active voters who have been registered for over 100 years, but their weak response just didn’t cut it.

We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.
