The cop killer in question, one Lashawn McNeil, was on probation for a narcotics charge and was arrested four times in other states. His compadre Lashawn was using a gun he stole in Baltimore in 2017, and used a large capacity magazine that's illegal in NYC, and probably hollow-point ammo as well, also banned. Plus it's against the law to murder people, police included. Sure, the Democrats in DC refuse to enforce the many existing gun laws, but NYC's problems are of their own making.
