It seems even the most prestigious legal institution in the land is not immune to COVID, that is the politics of it all. The Court did strike down the employer-based COVID vaccine mandate the Biden administration was pushing that was going to be enforced by OSHA. Yet, it didn’t come before we all saw how wrong the liberal wing of the Court was on the issue. I’m not talking about legal differences. I’m talking about facts. Justice Sonia Sotomayor claimed that 100,000 kids were hospitalized with COVID and on ventilators. She also said Omicron was just as deadly as Delta. Not true.

Comments:

If Nina Totenberg and NPR couldn't lie, they couldn't speak.

Perhaps the bovine wise Latinx could lay off the double burritos and layer cakes to get down to a reasonable weight of 200 lbs. or so and lower her WuFlu risk.

This story is all over the media. But Sotomayor had been working from home for some time because of her fear of Covid with no mention of Gorsuch.. She showed up for the oral arguments on the mandate. Tiresome.

A week or so ago, there was a public service ad, CDC, re children with Covid. Among other things it mentioned 100,000 case of Covid in children. I don't recall it saying anything about ventilators. When "the Judge" used the same numbers I thought "isnt that interesting". May "the Judge" heard that ad...or maybe she wrote the ad. I have not seen the ad since then.

NPR has been a 100% Fake News front, along with most of the rest of the Enemedia for a long time. NEVER trust anything from NPR....or ABC, CBS, NBC, PMSNBC, CNN....and to a SLIGHTLY lesser extent Fox. Fox only is Fake News/Suppressed News 50% of the time. Remember that superb Fox News "Breaking News" report of how the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh broke the back of the pandemic in 6 weeks with simple, cheap drugs? Yeah, neither do I. Because Fox News is Fake News. Orders from Dr. Fraud's Pfizer Pandemic Fact Control HQ and Fox News salutes and the story NEVER HAPPENED. We know that NPR is fake news, but Fox News PROVES that they are just as corrupt by not doing that very "Uttar Pradesh defeats the virus" story. Fox is Fake News and Suppressed News....with a trace of real news here and there to fool conservatives who haven't yet figured it out and still watch.

British national Malik Faisal Akram took four people hostage at Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville, Texas. It lasted over ten hours. It had a good ending. All four hostages are alive and escaped injury. Akram is dead. Yet, we have new developments on how this whole saga ended. At least one was released, the other three were later released as well. That’s what was Initially reported. Now, it seems like the rabbi created the situation in which the hostages were able to make a break for it. In other words, the FBI lied again.

Over the last few months, unflattering stickers of President Biden have been popping up at gas stations across America. They've been spotted in places like Georgia, Ohio, Idaho, and along I-95 between Washington, D.C., and Florida. The stickers typically show Biden pointing at the price of gas, saying "I did that!"

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he would consider changes to the way Congress certifies presidential elections, telling reporters in the Capitol Wednesday the system might need reform. “It’s worth discussing,” the Kentucky Republican said. Lawmakers in both parties are eyeing legislation that would change the ease with which lawmakers can object to presidential election results following last year’s riot at the U.S Capitol on Jan. 6, the day both the House and Senate met to certify President Joe Biden’s victory under the Electoral Count Act.

U.S. prosecutors decided to end their criminal case against two Manhattan jail guards who admitted to falsifying records on the night the financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself on their watch. In a Thursday filing in Manhattan federal court, prosecutors asked a judge to dismiss claims against Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, after both complied with the six-month deferred prosecution agreements they agreed to in May. Epstein was found hanging in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center on Aug. 10, 2019, while awaiting trial for sex trafficking, in what New York City's medical examiner called a suicide.

The time-honored tradition of naming a law professorship after a famous scholar or donor has gone off the rails a bit at a University of Arkansas law school — and the twist involves none other than the would-be honoree himself, former President Bill Clinton. Newly released records show the scandal-plagued former president had withdrawn his approval for a teaching chair to be named after himself at the William H. Bowen School of Law. Yet emeritus professor John DiPippa, who has held the post since it was first endowed in 2000, recently dubbed it the Clinton chair anyway.

I’m not sure what Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) thought he was going to get by pushing a vote on the Democratic effort to federalize elections (which they call ‘voting rights’) and on the filibuster. Schumer knew that he was likely to get a “no” on the filibuster from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). They’ve only been holding fast on the subject for months. Both also were very firm on the subject in speeches — Sinema earlier in the week and Manchin earlier on Wednesday. It wasn’t happening, they said. But Schumer decided to commit electoral suicide anyway, and he got it tonight.

Senior Senate Democrats are insisting that universal mail-in ballots and voter drop boxes, measures included in their election overhaul legislation, help to fight racism. Sen. And that is voter suppression and limiting people’s freedom to vote.”
